“This is the first time I’ve left a restaurant wishing I’d left a bigger tip. I had made a reservation indicating that the occasion was to ask my girlfriend’s parents for marriage permission, and our server (who was also Korean) made every effort to make sure we had a perfect dinner and setting for that to happen. KANE is already a favorite of ours, and as usual the food and nigiri were of spectacular quality for very reasonable prices. Dinner was great, and on our way out the head server checked in personally, asking if it went well.

It might not be much but the personal attention to detail to my reservation really went a long way for me, considering we weren’t omakase diners or special guests in any way. I autopiloted when the bill came and left a 20% tip, but on my way home realized and wished I had left a bigger tip. I will have to make it up by becoming more of a regular!

“I love this place. We usually go several times during the month. We love our Cosmopolitan drinks always made with our favorite Grey Goose Vodka. The food is amazing. I’m not really into spicy but here I can handle it. Last but no least… the service! The customer service. Fast, kind, always with a smile open to help and give you advises. They are so skilled and knowledgable. Waiters knows al the plates, and tastes. Also huge shout out to my Venezuelan friend. He is a bus boy and he is always goes above and beyond. I’m Venezuelan and it’s really nice to see him. Every time he knows I’m there he comes to say hi, give us a recommendation too and more! He is just awesome! Thank y’all”

“We went this last Friday for their Prime Rib Special, we arrived right at 5:00pm and were seated right away. Service was incredibly quick and our server was a fantastic personable woman (whose name I can’t remember 🤦🏻‍♀️). The fresh bread was sooo good, my husband had the Cajun pasta which was sooo delicious! I got the Prime Rib Special, the smoked mashed potatoes were to die for, and the asparagus was perfectly cooked. My prime rib was a little overcooked, which made it a bit tough but was still so yummy and the seasoning on it was top tier. The cheesecake dessert was one of the best desserts I have ever had! It lasted about five seconds at our table. The cocktails and mocktails were also perfect. Overall a great experience and we will definitely be back!”

It's kid friendly which is very helpful and all the staff we've interacted with were pleasant and made helpful recommendations. 2 pieces of constructive criticism for the team: 1) please offer mac and cheese on all kid menus, not just the dinner menu. 2) try making the 2 bathrooms unisex as it can be a long wait.”

Lots of options for vegans and meat lovers alike, with delicious injera (gluten free for those with sensitivity). Highly recommend potato and beet salad appetizer and the pistachio baclava/vanilla ice cream with pistachio drizzle that was kind of divine magic shell, lol! Beer and wine available as well as non alcoholic drinks. Next time I want to try the coffee roasted table side!”

“Absolutely love going here for crawfish. We stood in line for over an hour - HAPPILY - even made friends with others waiting - to enjoy their crawfish. Their staff is amazing and hard working. Evelyn was at the counter during the craziness of crawfish season opening and I did not see her eyes roll ONCE at anyone. Professional tone with every customer despite answering the same questions over and over. Highly recommend trying the Birds Nest - it's delicious. 10/10 - will definitely eat here again!”

“Heard a lot about Suvvai from some of my friends so had to try this food truck. Its located in the Cedar Park Food Truck Park near Brushy Creek. There is a nice covered area in front of the food truck, was a blessing when I visited since it was raining that day. The ambiance of the entire area is beautiful with string fairy lights everywhere. Now let's get to the food, Since there are many food trucks in the area I did a mix and match. Got the Ghee toast masala dosa from Suvvai and filter coffee. Both were so good. The dosa especially was amazing and the chutneys they provided were ao flavorful. I was already full from all the things I got that day otherwise would have definitely tried other dishes. I would highly recommend Suvvai for south India dishes.”

I chose the hot heat level but will be choosing the next level up upon my return. If you like the spice of life, you may want to choose the top tier heat to start off with!”

“My wife and I took our granddaughters (ages 9 and 6) to Lupe Tortilla and we had a great experience. The food was good and our server was tip-top. She was very attentive, polite, and professional. Not easy to please the picky tastes of the kiddos but our server did a fantastic job of meeting their needs.”

“Torchy's is a street taco specialist that started up as a food truck in Austin and has now expanded to over 90 restaurants across the States including this place on Whitestone Blvd. in Cedar Park. They have a fair sized indoor seating area as well as outdoor tables. You can do take-away and delivery as well. Menu features a few not-taco and side items along with their signature list soft tacos that are really good. We had dinner here recently amongst friends, tried 6-7 of their different tacos, let's just say that nobody complained and we gladly finished them all. Torchy's is a neat place that is family friendly and a good spot to meet up with friends. Prices are reasonable, range of taco options good and they seem to know what they are doing in the kitchen. Would gladly eat here again and do take-away for meals at home.”

My husband and I both love Indian food so we have tried several places around the CP/Austin area and this restaurant has the best flavors we've had. The food was delicious, every container was labeled with contents, and we were so impressed with the menu. My husband is vegan and they had plenty of options. They have definitely earned a dedicated customer.”

“Mojo is local drive-thru coffee shop with a few branches around Austin including this place near the corner of FM 620 and Lake Creek Pkwy in North Austin. They are open from 5.30am(weekdays) and 6am (weekends), making them a convenient place for take-away coffee orders on your way to work as well as a place to stop by for an afternoon coffee while on the go. Passed by recently and tried their signature Andes Mint Mocha. This was a expectedly sweet mocha coffee with noticeable hints of mint flavour. It did taste a bit like Andes chocolate mints if in mocha form if that perks your interest. I'd potentially order that signature drink again or might just go with a classic cup of black next time around. Wait staff were very friendly and polite. Overall, this was an interesting and good coffee experience.”

Honest Mary is a fast-casual kitchen preparing vegetarian, gluten-free and healthy bowls at their two branches in Austin. We stopped by recently and did their Sedona Lime and Med Harissa Bowl, both were freshly prepared and tasted very good. You can also do custom bowls choosing your own proteins, rice/salad base and other food items/sauces. Prices are about right for the food quality and portion sizes served. Seating area is a regular, casual restaurant and bowls are prepared fairly quickly.”

The Rameswaram Masala Dosa was perfectly crispy with flavorful masala inside. You can really feel the homemade taste in every bite. Definitely coming back to try more items!”

They were busy, but itl did not take long for my order. Plenty of workers in there bustling. Good brownie bits, not overly chewy/gummy things thats been sitting in a bin for weeks. It was actual brownie bits. Kudos to them on that. They had cornhole boards setup. Wish my kids were with me because they would have loved that. I assume this a local chain. Sure would be nice if they came to Virginia where I live, because it is a wonderful place!”

“My family stumbled onto Mandola’s ItalianKitchen in Odessa Florida. What a delightful restaurant! From the moment we walked in, the customer service was excellent. We were greeted at the door by the manager, Chris. He explained how the restaurant ordering and seating worked. We ordered at the counter, where the young woman patiently took our order, clarifying along the way. The wine selection for the casual environment was impressive. We were given a table number and we found a seat. Immediately someone brought warm focaccia bread and Italian oil to dip it in. Our food arrived at our table surprisingly quick. The portions were huge (luckily we were provided to-go boxes when we were ready to leave) The servers were friendly and professional. The chefs were visible as they prepared the food. Our used dishes were removed promptly as we finished one course after another. Then Chris, the manager who first greeted us, came to our table to ensure that our experience had been not just satisfactory, but excellent. Which it was! We are putting Mandola’s Odessa on our favorite restaurant list for when we return to Tampa. Thank you!”

We had an early Wednesday morning and decided to stop into Snooze for the first time around 8 AM. The vibe is very retro, fun 60s/70s energy with a bright, welcoming atmosphere. Since it was early, it was nice and quiet with plenty of open tables. We were greeted right away and immediately seated at a table with more than enough room for my daughter’s wheelchair, which I truly appreciated. Accessibility always matters.

I ordered the Bella Bella Benny, an Italian twist on Eggs Benedict. The cream cheese hollandaise reminded me a bit of Miracle Whip. My first bite caught me off guard and I wasn’t sure about it, but as I kept eating it grew on me and was overall good. Taste is subjective though, and personally I wouldn’t order that particular dish again. That said, the presentation was beautiful, easily five stars there.

I substituted the hash browns for a bowl of fruit with pineapple, strawberries, blueberries, and blackberries, and it was absolutely delicious. Fresh, colorful, and flavorful. With a black coffee and water, the total came to $24, which felt reasonable.

Our waitress Ashe was phenomenal. She had such a great attitude and genuinely made me feel like a VIP. The atmosphere and staff are five stars all day. The food was good, just slightly off from my personal flavor preference this time.

I will definitely be back. After ordering I spotted the corned beef hash on the menu and that is already locked in for next time. Looking forward to it.”

We didn’t read the sign and I yanked on the door handle because it was closed. The manager was so sweet though and he let us in, brought us water, served us food, asked if we wanted fish sauce to go, and told us that we didn’t need to clean when we left because even at home his wife doesn’t need to do anything. Just for the service alone I would give 5 stars but the food was also great; she got chicken vermicelli and I got beef.”

We tried the Bhakari (for the unitiatated, tortillas made from Bajari Flour), Pithala (spiced chickpea flour gravy ), thecha (crushed green chillies), sabudana khichadi (spiced sauted tapioca), Amaras (Sweetened mango pulp), papadi chaat (this one is difficult to explain in few words 😊) and ukadiche modak (sweet steamed dumplings with coconut and jaggery). This food truck is chef Madhuri’s passion for all food and it reflects in her menu. Each item was made perfectly with freshest ingredients and reminded of India. Whenever you are in the Brushy Creek area or are passionate about food like us (we travelled 50 miles just to enjoy this food), stop by Madhuri’s kitchen and just order each item on the menu. You are guaranteed to leave happy with a satisfied soul!”

The workers are friendly and mostly knowledgeable about their products. The space is whimsically colorful with a decent amount of space and tables with chairs. Could use some light background music to fill the air.
Plenty of parking with a double door opening which is wheelchair accessible. Average price is around $10 a person, depending on what you order.”

You have not had chicken until you've tried Raising Cane's chicken tenders. Once you bite into those warm tenders, they are so moist that they practically melt in your mouth. The texture of their perfectly salted fries are soft on the inside but crunchy on the outside (my favorite kind!). Raising Cane's cole slaw is so yummy that I make my husband order some with his meal so I can have seconds. :) Trust me, if you are in the mood for chicken, then you will have hit the jackpot with Raising Cane's.”

“Oh my goodness, this smoothie is so delicious! I got a large strawberry banana with bee pollen and whipped cream. There is no added sugar (except maybe some in the soy milk?), but it definitely tastes sweet enough. There is just enough ice/frozen soy and coconut milk to give you a brain freeze without making it too thick to drink. The texture is smooth and creamy. Non-dairy. There is also Bluebell ice cream.”

the staff is amazing. all of the bouncers are so sweet, and all of the bartenders have been great with the few interactions i've had w them. i don't drink so i don't have much to contribute in that area.

the overall vibe here is the BEST. i've been to a lot of dance halls, whether that be mavericks, gruene hall, etc., and the ambiance at wild will forever be so much better. other places feel like clubs, don't have great dancing, or people are very sociable. my experiences at wild people have always been so kind and are like family at this point. it's not too bright or too dark, they play great line dances and maintain balance for country dances and line dances. wild west has my heart and will forever be worth the drive and worth me adjusting any plans i have lol. i started dancing here so it’s pretty beginner friendly and there are also a lot of classes available. luke is an amazing instructor so definitely worth going.

for those complaining about no country music or not the vibe you were wanting: familiarize yourself with their calendar. if you're wanting to two step, go on a wednesday or a friday. if you're wanting mainly line dances, then saturdays aren't going to be up your alley. i will forever move mountains in my schedule to be able to make wild wednesdays lol. if it means i miss a day of a trip i don't care, i'll be there. i think yall get the gist. thank you wild for giving me the best memories and such amazing friendships”

I got turned away at McDonald's and Chick fila because they wouldn't serve me walking through the drive thru but this Carl's Jr took care of me. SADLY, I don’t know if I would do it again as the food was over half an hour late. I called the store about it and whoever answered the phone was basically like “what do you want me to do?” I’m upset because I called Saturday to double check and then again Sunday morning at 10:40 knowing that the order should have been gone from the store at least 10 minutes ago to get to my house on time and they told me they were just leaving. Once it was late the person on the phone told me they could “take a few dollars off” this was 300$ in catering and could have ruined my party. They never called back to follow up and I am just so disappointed. I’ll still grab take out from there but won’t use them to cater again”

I came in on a weekday at 2 or so, and that’s maybe not a great idea in fast food because it’s that time between shifts and while it’s nice and quiet in terms of customers, I was reading a book and the frantic cleaning and chair scraping around me was kind of annoying.But at least they clean, right?

My food was just fine though I love my white rice stickier…but outrageously expensive for what it was. If you’re eating there on site, just get a small fountain drink and refill it (it’s still over $2 but it’s that way everywhere). Or bring a bottled water…that’s what it’s come down to sometimes, with prices what they are!

P.E. is fine if you pass by and have a craving; I wouldn’t go out of my way for it but there’s one closer to home anyway. I was out and about that day.
