“Healthy eating isn't always the easiest thing to come by when dining out in Texas. Honest Mary is a fast-casual kitchen preparing vegetarian, gluten-free and healthy bowls at their two branches in Austin. We stopped by recently and did their Sedona Lime and Med Harissa Bowl, both were freshly prepared and tasted very good. You can also do custom bowls choosing your own proteins, rice/salad base and other food items/sauces. Prices are about right for the food quality and portion sizes served. Seating area is a regular, casual restaurant and bowls are prepared fairly quickly.“

“Fresh and flavorful! The cream of Jalapeño soup was delish! My salad had beets, goat cheese and pumpkin seeds along with very flavorful grilled chicken. My husband got a wrap and the hummus trio. We had to take our hummus trio and the pasta salad to our hotel as we couldn’t eat it all.“

“I drive from Round Rock usually once a week! Everything tastes fresh, decent sized portions, and prices are reasonable for healthy food you feel good about eating! The staff are always friendly and helpful.“
“Food is out of this world. I’m a pretty picky eater and I wanted to not have to cook as I track my protein and calories for a deficit. Came here and Nicolas was very educated on the product and friendly.
Don’t waste your time on instagram food prep ads. If you’re in atx and you need meal preps that don’t taste like buns. This is your place. Highly recommend“

“The food is so delicious. The owner and staff were so sweet and very helpful. They use fresh, all natural ingredients with accurate macros for a healthy lifestyle.“
“Amazing spot with so many tea flavor options and great nutrition add-ins like collagen and immunity boosts! The teas also had different energy levels(different amounts of caffeine I believe) which i hadn't seen in other places. It's a very cozy space, and can't wait to come back and try their açai bowls. Highly recommend!“

“The Anko Cookie is absolutely amazing!
The almond cookie is buttery without butter, and the creamy anko filling melts in your mouth. It's unique, elegant, and not overly sweet like many desserts. I ended up buying a few more to take home.
Since they're handmade in small batches, they sometimes sell out before the end of the day. I'd recommend checking availability or stopping by early if you really want to try them.
If you're visiting Austin, don't miss Nancy's Sky Garden—this cookie alone is worth the trip.“

“A friend told me about Playa Bowls and though I’m thankful, I mostly want to slap him in the back of the head for not telling me sooner.
This place is inappropriately good. Like, the things done to my tastebuds here can’t be mentioned without heavy censorship. So unless you’re weird and hate pleasure and goodness, allow the tasty delights at Playa to ruin all other food for you.“

“Love me some snap kitchen! When I'm busy this is the best spot to grab a weeks worth of healthy meals so I don't have to cook. Staff is ALWAYS friendly and helpful, every single one of them, even though it's a new person every time I'm there lol. Losing a star only because sometimes I go in and there's not a lot of variety. For example, I can't do tomatoes, and last week I went in and I swear almost everything had a tomato based sauce on it. So the batches of food can feel a little too similar to the other dishes available at the time. Great if you like said thing, but if not, limiting.“

“I ate Chicken Banh Mi sandwich. The chicken was tender, slightly charred along with spicy and sweet ingredients which taste super. Another best part of sandwich is the ciabatta bread which is crispy outside but so soft inside.
Also enjoyed Seoul Bowl which had blackened chicken along with my favourite broccoli, brown rice and quinoa. Another interesting part of the bowl is sweetly drop pepper which is sweet yet mild spicy. Worth eating again and again.
So I went again. This time I took blackened chicken mango bowl. I enjoyed eating this bowl taking small portion each of chicken, sweet potato, mango, rice, black bean etc. It tastes so delicious and the bbq sauce makes the entire combination exceptionally tasty. ❤❤“

“I stopped by recently and was honestly impressed from start to finish. The protein tea was the highlight—super refreshing, not overly sweet, and you can actually tell it’s made with quality ingredients. I liked that it didn’t have that heavy, chalky taste you sometimes get with protein drinks. It felt light but still energizing, which is kind of the perfect combo.
They also offer aloe and added vitamins, which I wasn’t expecting but really appreciated. It made the whole experience feel a little more intentional, like they actually care about what they’re serving and how it benefits you—not just throwing together another sugary drink. You can customize things too, which is always a plus.
The flavor options were great, and the one I tried tasted clean and smooth without being artificial. Definitely something I’d come back for, especially if you’re looking for a healthier alternative to coffee or energy drinks.
What stood out just as much as the drinks, though, was the atmosphere. The staff were genuinely friendly and welcoming without being over the top. You don’t feel rushed, and they’re happy to answer questions or help you pick something out.
Also worth mentioning—the place was very clean, including the bathroom, which says a lot about how they run things overall.
All around, it’s a solid spot if you want something refreshing, a little healthier, and served by good people. I’ll definitely be back.“
