“The food here is really excellent and it's such a great addition to cedar Park. I've been here twice now. Tried the omakassi last week. The food was amazing and the chef was very kind and engaged. My only complaint would be the speed. The person I was eating with was eating her courses much faster than I was and instead of slowing down so we could experience together. The chef ran through the entire meal in about 30 minutes. This was disappointing because it is a 2-hour seating and I ended up leaving several entree pieces behind“

“This restaurant has amazing food. Every time we’ve been we’ve enjoyed our meal. My daughter loves sushi so we go occasionally. My favorite is an off menu roll called Monica Vegas. Their cold Lychee sake is to die for.“

“When I saw this place call itself an Izakaya I came with high hopes, as when I was in Japan our home was very near an amazing Izakaya and a Yakatori restaurant that we went to under our train station in Osaka.

This place is a little different than what I was hoping for/expecting

The food was ok, the menu has a lot. But it was more of a sushi place with some Izakaya/Yakatori mainstays

I was hoping for Tsukune, tebaski, sunagimo in addition to the kaarage and tonkatsu

So to focus on what I did have:

Tonkatsu: was pretty good came on a plate with the pork cutlet and lightly topped with tonkatsu sauce with some partly fried potatoes and a couple slices of cucumber and tomato, the pork was cooked well and was juicy, the breading was not quite crunchy, not sure if they use shokupan or if it's a freshness issue, the breading did easily separate from the pork

I also ordered chicken yakatori and pork Yakatori, they came on a plate with lemons and shredded cabbage

The chicken was cooked well, the sauce they used (tare?) was flavorful and I enjoyed them, a tad well done

I did not enjoy the pork, it was tough and dry

I also ordered some unagi sashimi, which came with some ginger and wasabi (a bit milder and sweeter than I expected)

The unagi was cooked well and served warm and was very tasty

I would like to come back and try the Una don or katsu don, a table next to us ordered it and it looked really good, will update if I try it again.

This is my favorite Chinese restaurant. I always order from Chefs Special Menu which is higher price than regular lunch. Today we tried bock Choi which has very unique taste. We were told this is different bock Choi vegetable and it is the original Chinese vegetable. It does look different and has darker green color. We also tried trout fish in very tasty black beans sause. One of our favorite dish is eggplant with pork. And the last dish we had is pork fried rice which my loves.“

“This restaurant is located in a Whole Foods Market. Right next to the fruit station. Most people come here in search of the freshest and most high quality ingredients in their city. So what’s the deal with the sushi place? ? I got Salmon Teriyaki Bowl, it was $15.49 & delicious. Dodged the veggies, not there’s anything wrong with them, I’m just scared of vegetables. Overall, I can see this becoming a more frequent lunch for me in a pinch, Especially if they put JOYRIDE in the Candy Section! ?“

From the moment we sat down, the staff was attentive without hovering, drinks stayed filled, and the rolls came out quickly even with a decent crowd in the dining room. You can tell the front of house takes pride in how they run the place. Timing between courses was right, questions about the menu got real answers instead of guesses, and checkout was quick and painless. That level of attention alone makes it worth a return visit.

The sushi itself was solid but not exceptional. Rolls were fresh, the rice was properly seasoned, and portions were fair for the price, but nothing on the plate separated it from the other sushi options in the area. “I took chicken fried rice which had soft and tender chicken with long grained rice, green peas and carrot pieces. The seasoning was good and the fried rice was tasty.
Salt peppered tofu however was totally bland unlike its name.
The take away parcel was given in a very thin plastic carry bag. I was too concerned that the food will fall down from the bag on the way back to my home. You may please provide
a better quality take away paper bag.“
