“Exceptional omakase. One of my favorite restaurants in Austin. The chef is extremely personable and kind. Made me feel incredible comfortable throughout the whole experience. My girlfriend and I thoroughly enjoyed this experience. The food itself was absolutely delicious. Every single nigiri was exceptional, with wonderful rice texture. The fish itself was always excellent quality and the sauces lightly coated on each fish were excellently paired with the flavor profile of the fish itself. Drinks: I did the sake pairing which had two options, a standard pairing for $80 iirc, and prestige pairing for $100. I did the pairing for $100. It was outstanding. My friend opted to do the prestige wine pairing ($110); she thoroughly enjoyed that pairing, as well. After the 22 courses, we went back the bar/lounge area and opted to finish our night with a glass of or Born Gold sake. The service team was incredible throughout the meal. Their presence was very low-key, but they were informative and really kind. Will absolutely be returning in the future.“

“This restaurant is located in a Whole Foods Market. Right next to the fruit station. Most people come here in search of the freshest and most high quality ingredients in their city. So what’s the deal with the sushi place? ? I got Salmon Teriyaki Bowl, it was $15.49 & delicious. Dodged the veggies, not there’s anything wrong with them, I’m just scared of vegetables. Overall, I can see this becoming a more frequent lunch for me in a pinch, Especially if they put JOYRIDE in the Candy Section! ?“

“We dropped in for lunch on a whim. This place is just as amazing as always. We ordered an appetizer of spicy edamame that came out really quickly but was very tasty. Our mains (Sushi rolls and Dan Dan noodles) were excellent as always. This has become our go to place for ramen and Sushi. We were taken care of by Reese. She was very attentive and friendly. “Heard much about the ayce sushi here so we came over the weekend for ayce sushi dinner.

The nirgi and rolls were good and pretty fresh.

Some rolls are deep fried so don't want to eat too much or else you will be full fast, which was the mistake the kid had made.

Forgot the name but one of the rolls was very very pinkish in color, the wife was kind of turned off by the appearance. It tasted pretty good though“

“My family and I have been going to Kublai Khan for years. We enjoy coming back and enjoying our meals here. I personally enjoy the robot delivering our sushi to our table. We also get the bowl to prepare a dish and it's pretty cool that we get to play with different sauces and ingredients.“

“This was a super cool experience! All of the sushi we tried was delicious. It’s a great way to try a bunch of new sushi/other foods without committing to an entire roll.

You have the option to grab plates off of the conveyor belt, or order certain rolls which are sent directly to your table on another conveyor belt. There were some dishes on the rotating belt that were not refilled while we were eating which was slightly disappointing, but there were plenty of other options. Other than that, the service was great. They also have ramen and other noodle dishes that you can order.

Payment is by the plate. You will get more pieces of “lower-cost” sushi on the plate than “high-value” sushi, but the price per plate is the same regardless.

Would definitely like to come back at some point to try some of the rolls I didn’t get the first time (and to eat some of my favorites again!).“
