The atmosphere reminds me of the mercados near Mi Tierra, and the owners were very sweet and only added a coziness that was complimented by the beautiful art within the restaurant. The taste of the food here is as immaculate as it is comforting. A perfect place to go for an evening night out with family, friends, and loved ones.
This is a very cute little sushi spot. We couldn't get into some of the "swankier" modern sushi places nearby, but honestly, I'm so glad we didn't. It seems to be run by an older Japanese couple, husband working primarily in the kitchen, and wife is primarily running the floor. We ordered the beef teriyaki platter to share, but I think there was some confusion, and we ended up with the bulgogi platter instead. But it was very tasty regardless. A true mom and pop gem :') I've been here a couple times now, both when it wasn't super busy so the service was amazing. The fish is fresh and melts in your mouth. Simple clean cuts with a glass of Asahi is chef's kiss.
