“When Dahlia's is good, it's very good - I just wish they'd be more consistent. On this trip, good service, but the food was meh - and if you're going to have three young men standing around the host stand (how many hosts do you need?), maybe get them to actually DO something, like wipe down the disgustingly sticky menus, refill customer water glasses or something. \nBut we'll keep trying it whenever we're in the area - sometimes the food is outstanding.\nWish they had a fruit pie once in awhile, though . . .”

“I’m not a huge BBQ fan but I just moved to Tx and had to try some BBQ. Wow! This is some of the best, juiciest, and tenderest meat I’ve ever had. The sauce is incredible as well.”

“This review is for two things.

First, the Boba from this establishment has always been great. We’ve had it multiple times in the past and we have also tried other places as well but moving forward this will be the only place we get our Boba from.

Story time. I have been sick and when I’m sick I just want comfort food. I wanted Boba but felt so bad that I ended up just placing an order in through Uber Eats for myself, my husband and our daughter. Order was made, drinks were being made, young girl was scheduled to pick it and said when it would tentatively be dropped off. All of a sudden I checked again and the order said it was waiting for someone else to pick it up and the order would be delayed being dropped off. I was a little disappointed but it wasn’t anything crazy, it happens.

A random number started calling my phone and I figured maybe it was Uber Eats or someone maybe picking it up but since I’m so sick I can’t really talk so I passed the phone to my husband to answer. He spoke for a while and when he got off the phone, he told me the person who called was actually a man who worked at the store. He said someone was suppose to pick it up and never came and he asked for our address and said he would drop it off personally if no one came within the next 5 minutes. Again I’m thinking there’s no way, Uber will just cancel the order and that’s it, we will just have to get boba another time.

Uber indeed cancelled our order, a small amount of time goes by and my husband got a call from the same number that he sent our address to and it was the man from the store and he was waiting outside with our order. My husband went outside to thank him and we tried to pay him directly and he refused to take any money from us.

Again, boba has always been great from here but THE CUSTOMER SERVICE! That right there will now make us a forever customer. Thank you so much.

P.S - we will stopping by and when it asks us to leave a tip, we will be leaving a tip in the amount of this order we received today + tip. I truly believe in paying good deeds forward.”

“I had the club sandwich and it was great! We also had the seasoned fries with mozzarella cheese, bacon, and jalapeños & they were a great appetizer! Staff was very friendly and our friend was able to bring her very cute and well behaved dog with her. I’ll definitely be back!”

“Awesome place. From the food to the staff, the Tavern has made its mark in Liberty Hill. We have been coming regularly since they opened and have always had great service and food. The owner and team have done an excellent job making this a top notch place. Great place for kids to run around and play on the playscape, our daughter loves it and always meets new kids. The Tavern is absolutely five star.”

“We had a group of maybe 30 people. We ate here after my grandfather's funeral. The waitress was nice and we were served in a timely manner for 30 people. They made sure we didn't run out of chips and salsa and filled our drinks. Food was great!”

“We were in town for my son’s basketball tournament and decided to stop in for lunch. Upon arrival the staff was very pleasant and attentive. The food came out fresh and hot! “First time visiting this great place. Impressed with how smooth and clean clean the vodka is. The honey pepper whiskey was smooth and sweet. The owners are wonderful and friendly. The brewery had a nice selection with my favorite being Island Time which was a light and crisp medium bodied brew. Lovely place to spend an afternoon.”

“I am a Coffee lover so they lobed one across the plate for me with this local gem. The drinks are as good as in the city and the ladies working there are friendly, welcoming and will help you with suggestions, explanations and recommendations, if you need. You can have a business or other meeting, grab one and a bite to go or just a leisurely stop for a cup of Joe, it's up to you. It has no drive through window so it is a completely different experience than their competitor down the street who closed thier inside service during Covid and never reopened it. I'm retired and not in a rush so I would rather enjoy the time with friends, family, Coffee and conversation on a stuffed chair or love seat rather than sitting in line in my car. The yard is great with diversions for children to play or for you to just hang out a while and enjoy the day in this quaint little neighborhood spot. Give them try and you'll see what I mean. I'm a big fan!”

“Double check what you are charged. I pulled up.to the drive thru window and the young lady told me my total was over $17 for 1 ice cream cone.
It took a few minutes for the team to figure out the problem but we got it squared up !”

“Recently, Golden Chick was mentioned in a conversation. So, I tried them. I was amazed. Their chicken is so juicy and tender and delicious. I love chopping up one of the salads and adding it to a roll with a tender to make a slider. Just don't forget the Zing sauce. You will love it!!”

“This morning, after one of the most exhausting nights I’ve had in awhile, I headed to the Starbucks in Liberty Hill because they open an hour before my usual location and I was desperately in need of caffeine. I am so thankful I did! Even though I was the first customer and they were most likely still setting everything up, they patiently walked me through the differences between each type of coffee. Then when I arrived at the window to pay and realized I had forgotten my debit card and couldn’t remember the number when I went to the app to purchase a gift card to use as payment, the cashier kindly let me know “this one is on her”. That kindness and generosity has given me hope that a terrible night will not lead to a terrible day. I will certainly be going back.”
