“As first timers we came on a Friday at 3pm for happy hour and we are still here at 5:20pm. If you like Oysters, and solid cocktails, this is the place for you. We had two dozen raw (mix of gulf and east coast), 2 orders of charbroiled, Rockefeller, and fried oysters. We couldn’t get enough they were so good. Shout out to Melissa at the bar and James (the all knowing and the fellow bourbon enthusiast) for making our afternoon into an amazing evening.“

“Absolutely love going here for crawfish. We stood in line for over an hour - HAPPILY - even made friends with others waiting - to enjoy their crawfish. Their staff is amazing and hard working. Evelyn was at the counter during the craziness of crawfish season opening and I did not see her eyes roll ONCE at anyone. Professional tone with every customer despite answering the same questions over and over. Highly recommend trying the Birds Nest - it's delicious. 10/10 - will definitely eat here again!“

“Fogonero no es solo comida, es un viaje directo a Venezuela. Cada plato tiene sabor a hogar, a recuerdos, a momentos que uno no sabía que extrañaba tanto. Se siente la pasión en cada detalle, desde la cocina hasta la atención. Sales lleno, pero más que de comida, de emoción. Si quieres comer de verdad y sentir algo distinto, este lugar es obligatorio.“

“Ordered 4 breakfast tacos and young lady said it would be about 10 minutes. It was actually 45 Minutes later that we go the food. Tacos were outstanding, I mean really good. But just not worth that wait, especially when you need to get to work. The wait was ridiculous and for that reason I wont be going back.“

“Food was awesome got a snowcrab cluster that was cooked and seasoned perfectly with great spice and a great sauce. Also got abbys fried platter that was all cooked perfectly gold and crispy. Platter came with a variety of dipping sauces that paired well with each item on the platter, and the coleslaw was down right delicious. Wait staff was fantastic with great service and friendly conversations. Will be returning ASAP.“
