“a perfect place for your seafood dinner!! the customer service by the guys running the truck was above and beyond what we expected, answering all our questions and providing recommendations. the new orleans po’boy was great, the fried shrimp were crispy and flavorful, and the fried fish was well seasoned and fresh. everything was prepared at order so everything was hot when we brought it home. we will definitely be going back for more!“
“First time visiting Top Notch! It was a great experience, the young man who helped us out was very polite and attentive. Great customer service! We each had a cheeseburger and tried the onion rings and French fries. Great burgers and we’ll definitely be back!“
“I went to French Quarter Grille yesterday for the first time, the food was great, the service was adaquate and the prices were moderate, while it's nice to have a Cajun restaurant in my neck of the woods (Northeast Austin) it's unfortunately not one of the best Cajun restaurants I've been to.“
“Bri was our waitress and she did a PHENOMENAL job. I’m a very picky eater and Bri answered every annoying question I had about the menu, as it was my first time here, and even made accommodations for me. She was also very attentive to everyone; we never had an empty cup. Also, definitely recommend their crawfish. Thanks Bri!“
“Great new place to eat. My wife and I shared the Patacones appetizer then each had Pabellon Criollo for dinner. Both were really good. Our server was great, very helpful and when I asked him about Venezuela he told me about it and even shared pictures of some of his favorite places. Great experience for both of us.“
“I went here for Valentine's Day and was surprised there was a steakhouse in Georgetown that was this amazing. When you sit down, you first notice the old post office boxes on the walls which is really neat since it's the old Georgetown Post Office and they left the nicest features. Next you notice the modern take on an old style South American Parrilla which is nice as you can watch them cook the food using real wood and fire. I had Filet Mignon, lobster, and tartar which were all excellent. There was a back room that opened up at one point and we saw some Texas Senators back there having dinner. Service was quick and efficient. I've gone back again.“
“Fresh food, passion in product, authentic!!! These are the words that describe La Patrona. Deliciously executed food that will trigger sensory memories. Every single bite was better than the previous. If you have a love for Mexican seafood this is for you, if you have never had the pleasure of eating mariscos this is for you. Prices do match the quality, I say that because in this case the customer comes out ahead for sure . If I could give La Patrona 10 stars I would. Then I would give another 10 for cleanliness. Phenomenal experience. Hermosa Experencia!!!“
“The food was excellent. In all candor, based on location and price the food should be excellent. Many fun choices but not too many to be overwhelming. The cafe is comfortable and relaxed but upscale. An interesting selection of mixed drinks and what seemed an updated wine list and improved.“
“I love the catfish and shrimp plate! You can taste how fresh the shrimp are. You can practically smell the ocean on them! The calamari is a good starter, too.April 2024 update: I went with a large party (12) and do not recommend. We called early for a reservation and they didn't do those. Our waitress was nice and was able to split the checks the way we needed, but service was sloooow. At one point, everyone looked around at the restaurant emptying and asked "where's the food?" When it did arrive, NOTHING was hot. I sent my plate back (ordered the steak and shrimp) and it got warmed. The shredded cheese on my baked potato didn't even melt.Something changed. I'm not sure what. But it wasn't for the better.“
“Fantastic food . Very top tier , especially coming from a food truck at 2 am. Amazing service. Austin was a great cook and employee. Turns out he’s the owner as well. Please if you have the time and in the area give this spot a try. Love to see young entrepreneurs achieving their goals and doing it the right way . Go support .“
“I came in for lunch with a friend and we had an amazing time. Our server Tyler was prompt, attentive and extremely helpful. He made sure we had a fantastic experience. Our food and drinks were phenomenal. The manager Keith was so friendly and continually checked on us to make sure we had everything we needed. We will definitely be coming back again. Thank you!“
“i finally found a Nepali and Indian food haven in Austin Curry Kitchen Restaurant. The food was phenomenal, clean, and hygienic. I've tried many places but this one stands out. I highly recommend it. thanks for making my day. Peace and love.......“
“Tasty food in an intimate atmosphere. I would not come here to fill my belly. There really weren't "meal" options to be had. If you're looking for a quaint spot to enjoy quiet conversation and something tasty, then give this place a shot.“
“Absolutely love this place .Me and my family first time ever eating at Louisiana crab shack they didn’t disappoint…….We will be back are waitress was very friendly ,food was HOT ,all around great experience!IF YOU ARE THINKING ABOUT TRYING THIS PLACE OUT ,DONT THINK ANYMORE JUST TAKE MY WORD GOOOO.“
“I rarely write any reviews but this place deserves credit. This is the best place for fried fish in Taylor or any where in central Texas. Fish is seasoned so well and fried to a very taste crunch. BayBay"Z has become my favorite place to eat fish and seafood in Taylor and surrounding areas.“
“Service always great, food even better. Tex mex at it best for around Round Rock. I keep going back for seconds if that says anything. Staff does a fenominial job of getting the stuff right the first time. Even when they are busy, service is quick, hot, and fast.“
“Coworker told me about this place so we tried it out. The ceviche was amazing and it was good portions. The lady there was extremely nice and helpful. They ran out of the Agua Fresca I wanted so she let me try the other ones so I could pick the one I liked instead of just guessing and hoping for the best. Great customer service. We tried thr Aguachiles with themedium green sauce. Wasn't too spicy but great flavor! And the Ceviche mix, one with and one without tajin.I'm excited to try some of their other meals. This is a seafood Mexican resturaunt and soo many options to choose from.“
“I got the honey hot and lemon peeper chicken it was fried fresh and crispy yet tender inside and the honey hot in my opinion was not hot it was super tasty and very palatable and the lemon pepper is better than wingstop or wings and things or wing Daddys it was super yummy. I dont regret visiting here while on a short trip!!Parking: As long as it is not busy you can park right in front of their truckKid-friendliness: Anyone can go there nothing seemed to be un safe when we went. I took my daughter with me.Wheelchair accessibility: It’s an outside lot so it is accessible.“
“The food was delicious ?!! Everything we ordered tasted great. We had crawfish & shrimp boil, gumbo, fried shrimp basket, 10pc wings garlic butter & Carolina gold sauce, cajun and sweet potato fries We were not able to eat in due to our late arrival; therefore, we ordered to go. We enjoyed it all. The customer service was great!! Didn't get a chance to get the manager's name, but his spirit and energy were so welcoming. You can tell he loves what it does! Thank you to the cooks as well! We will definitely visit again when we are in this area. Highly recommend!!“
“Great place in Taylor to eat good food and host a large group! Super nice staff who took care of our very loud and happy family. The chips and queso were a delicious start and everyone seemed to be very happy with their drinks and food. We were a group of 40+ and we really appreciate all the hard work it took to serve all of us! Thank you!“
“Heidi made this place worth it!! She is the full experience…and then the food is amazing! We had steaks and sushi. Everything was so fresh. As a table we were out number with 2 adults and 6 preteen girls!! And she entertained them all. We had guns of laughs and lots of memories made. Heidi was the icing on the cake!!!“
“The Gumbo is a MUST!Crawfish has a great flavor and is nicely sized. The staff is always friendly and fast-paced.We normally stop by for lunch, the place is always busy but the service is fast.It is one of our go-to places.5.11.23 UpdateGumbo is still the best ever.Tried their blue crab special for lunch today... we LOVED it! Lots of meat on the crabs and great seasoning on them!“
“Food was very good! Small soup was vey fillimg and tasty for its size, not "small" compared to other places which serve a cup. The meats were on point and their homemade hosien sauce was delicious. Really wanted to try the duck for what their known for but were out so maybe next time? oh and their combination fried rice was so yummy? cant wait to come back!?“
“I have heard great things about Jaiwai from my friends who frequent the area. This was a great spot to meet up with a friend and catch up over lunch. The lunch prices were good! $2 off their regular price for our dishes. I got the pad see ewe with pork, which I really enjoyed. The only downside was that the vegetables were very undercooked. The carrots and especially the broccoli were hard and tasted half raw. My friend got the green curry fried rice and said it was spicy and really good too. The service was fast, and I appreciate how our server told us to take our time after we paid. The parking spots in front of the restaurant were full, but I found nearby free street parking. They could definitely add some decor to liven up the atmosphere.“
“I really like this place. The chicken stew special is pretty good, the rice is the perfect portion, and the mango lassi isn't overly sweet. The staff is polite and the girl at the front was helpful when I wanted to try something new. I like that the curry comes in a Togo bowl so I can just throw a lid on it, very convenient.“
“Atmosphere and decor is nice. I was told it was renovated. The host is really friendly! The food is really good! The portion sizes are big. You get your money’s worth. We tried multiple dishes. Thai Basil Chicken, King Pao Shrimp and Orange Chicken were great dishes! Orange Chicken is crispy! We kept going back for more even though we were full. Oh, Crab Ragoons is a MUST! Edamame is good too. I didn’t try the egg rolls or lo mein. I look forward to trying those next time. Highly recommend this place!“
“Not gonna lie, I was little skeptical about this place, being this close to Austin. I decided to see how bad it was by choosing the buffet, like my coworkers. I was genuinely surprised by the quality of the fish and I’ve been eating it regularly all my life. It had great flavor, texture and just the right amount of crunch. I wasn’t too crazy about the grilled or fried chicken, it was a little dry. I was just there for the fish.“
“This place rocks. We got really great food that kept us full for the rest of the day and beers for under $50 for two people.I got the fish ceviche medium sized and my partner got the carne asada. Both were great. I think I won but he thinks he won so we will never truly know. Which is the best outcome in my opinion. The ceviche was incredible. So much ceviche for like $20 I was shocked when I got to the bottom of the bowl and there wasn’t a bunch of lettuce to try and cut costs. I’ve had a lot of fancy pants ceviche before and this was the best I’ve had honestly. It was so simple and perfect. Perfectly seasoned and light and fresh. The atmosphere is really nice and inviting. As well as the staff. Our waitress was great as well as everyone else we interacted with. 10/10“
“My friend brought me here I would have never guessed this was in here. It’s a small mom and pop restaurant with cafeteria style seating. Everything was hot and fresh and came out fast. Definitely home by here to get some authentic Korean food. Thank yall!“
“Small hole in the wall place and in my opinion, on of Taylor's best kept secret. Food is plenty and so much flavor and the Margaritas aren't wattered down. Seriously, The Price is resonable considering that everywhere is expensive now. When my wife and I want to go out to eat, this is our spot.“
“We had a large group dinner here and we all had a great time. All the items you read about here really are good. We tried the fried pickles and jalapenos and Parm chicken wings and they were great. I have to say they have an excellent selection of Bourbons.“
“A very nice neighborly restaurant with, great seafood, customer service and atmosphere to sit back and enjoy some music while you dine. Ask for Andre the owner/manager when you arrive. He's a really cool guy. Your visit will be complete. Check them out!“
“This is one of the best LJS,s I have visited because they are so friendly and their food is better than most of them that I've been to. The people give this place a defining benefitVegetarian options: Most people know that this is not the place for a vegetarian.“
“Came to visit Austin and was so not pleased with the food on the downtown side so we looked this place up and when I say this place is for the CULTURE !! Food was 10/10 and service was 10/10. We would recommend anybody to come here. Our server was Kori? I think that was her name but she was great and the hookah service was great as well. I’m from Louisiana and I can honestly say the food definitely is up to par to my city!“
“Visiting out of town, it was true southern hospitality. From the moment we walked in the door, Andrea and David were very attentive in making sure they went above and beyond in their service. If you’re ever in the river walk area and need a bite to eat, a quick refreshment, or to simply enjoy the view I highly recommend Joes Crab Shack!“
“Dietary restrictions: My husband and I had the 8 grilled shrimp with rice and grilled vegetables. It was absolutely delicious. I even asked the wonderful waitress if there was a new cook. She said the cook was in Cambodia for a period of time and came back with this new way of cooking. Let me tell you it was amazing and the portion size was big enough that we could have ordered one dish for the two of us. I will be back again and will recommend it to all my friends.“
“Had a wonderful experience at Spinners! My husband and I went on a Thursday night and we were practically the only people there! We got the seafood boil with 1/2 pd crab and shrimp with sausage, potatoes and corn. We mixed the lemon pepper and Cajun and I was delicious. Not traditional boil flavor but wonderfully different! I would definitely go back!“
“Okay first time I did not take pictures but this time I did. Let me start by typing this is as authentic you can get. That’s it, that’s the review. Please if you do come out just show some love it’s a family owned business and local to Hutto residents. I do not have to travel to South Austin anymore.“
