Got the fried catfish with fries and a side of the Hushpuppie stuffed Mac n cheese.Catfish was amazing - batter/cornmeal had great flavor with fresh catfish.Fries were great with the house made season salt.Hushpuppie stuffed max n cheese was delicate. Almost like a dessert it was so good.Large portions all around with a friendly staff. I’ll be back and will be recommending this to anyone in the area. Very authentic and will 100% be a returning customer
If you live in Pflugerville and you haven’t had lunch here or one of Ken’s daily specials, you are truly missing out! For all the foodies out there who complain about no food options in central Pflugerville do yourself a favor and go have a fried pork chop sandwich at Rec’s or one of their gumbo crab dishes.
