This is my new go to fried cat fish and fry place. I cannot begin to tell you how good the food here is! I haven’t had fried catfish since I moved to Texas but I’m so glad my first time was here. It was perfectly seasoned and battered and the catfish inside was light and delicate. The fries are SO well seasoned too. I am obsessed.We also got the Mac and cheese hush puppies which were so delicious. They were huge, the size of tennis balls. I was expecting them to be hard but instead they were light, the cornbread batter was sweet and tasty and the Mac and cheese was soooo yummy.If you’re in downtown Pflugerville you definitely need to check this place out. We ordered the food to go and ate it at a brewery next door. It was so so good. Will be back again and will be buying the seasoning.

Got the fried catfish with fries and a side of the Hushpuppie stuffed Mac n cheese.Catfish was amazing - batter/cornmeal had great flavor with fresh catfish.Fries were great with the house made season salt.Hushpuppie stuffed max n cheese was delicate. Almost like a dessert it was so good.Large portions all around with a friendly staff. I’ll be back and will be recommending this to anyone in the area. Very authentic and will 100% be a returning customer

For all the foodies out there who complain about no food options in central Pflugerville do yourself a favor and go have a fried pork chop sandwich at Rec’s or one of their gumbo crab dishes. Also, if you have a large event, I’ve used Ken for catering events even Thanksgiving dinner. I hate to give out my secret spots, but they really do deserve the best of all reviews. This place is great! It has so much more than hush puppies (though the Mac and cheese ones are great). Great fried catfish, shrimp, and chicken tender baskets, way better than Springhill. I love the blackened catfish and rice. Owner is so nice and will usually walk our food over to us at the Three Legged Goat. I've heard his catering is great too!

Small But Mighty in Taste! We found this hidden gem after the Pfluger annual Christmas parade. We stopped by anticipating some tasty hushpuppies, but boy did we get waaay more! Now the Mac & Cheese Hushpuppies are delicious don't get me wrong, but That Catfish & Shrimp is what the young folk call Bussin! So flaky, fresh, light and seasoned to perfection!! I'm just sad it took me so long find this spot. They are surrounded by great local businesses and parking is available for all. Great food, Great Service, All around great people. To top it off, my review is not a happenstance review. I only review local spots after experiencing them more than once. They are consistent in their quality and service.
