“Sorry it's taken me a few days to get this review done. I'm just woken up from a tiramisu coma. I believe my wife who ordered it and Tiffany that made it are for some reason conspiring to murder me. It's been a few years since I have had the delight of eating the tiramisu from Baked and Sconed as they don't make it very often. For my birthday my wife says that she had a surprise for me and proceeds to hand me a turkey roasting pan covered in foil. It was so heavy I almost dropped it. I thought she was being cute and had packed the new wrench set that I was wanting in the pan based on the weight that can only be described as boat anchorish. As I peeled back the layer of foil, a golden glow hit me in the face. It was like the scene out of Pulp Fiction when Samuel Jackson opened the briefcase and showed Marcellus Wallace's soul. I immediately took this sacred package into the kitchen rummaged through the silverware drawer to find the biggest spoon that would fit into my mouth and began to hover over it growling and elbowing anyone that came close to me. My child wanted a bite, and I scared her off so bad that I haven't seen her in a couple days. The taste can only be described as what it must be like to have an angel take a dump directly on my tongue. It was glorious. Hats off to Tiffany for doing it right as always and for not charging extra for the forklift rental that it certainly must have taken to get it into the car.”

The venue provided the perfect atmosphere for celebrating with our clients, friends, and community. Our guests enjoyed the champagne, wine, the beautiful space, and the warm hospitality. Meg went out of her way to make everyone feel welcome, and it truly felt like she was invested in making our event a success.

As a small business, we appreciate supporting other local businesses, and Hutto Wine Bar exceeded our expectations. We received so many compliments from our guests and couldn’t have asked for a better place to celebrate this milestone.

“This was my first time ordering DoubleDave’s. My daughter’s school was having a fundraiser and 20% of our order went to them so I thought I would try it out. I ordered two pizzas and a salad online for delivery and the food arrived pretty fast, however, only the pizza arrived. Honestly, I didn’t feel like calling the restaurant to complain that we didn’t get our small salad so we just ate the pizza and said all well. Then I got a text that our salad would be arriving asap and not even 5 min later the delivery driver was at our door apologizing. Now we order food for delivery at least twice a week from various restaurants and we understand things get forgotten, but NEVER have I had a delivery driver actually return to the store to get the item and bring it to us after it was forgotten ESPECIALLY without me even complaining about it. This act alone will bring us back to DoubleDaves in the future because customer service is key. But also the food was spectacular!”

“This location must be under new management because the improvement has been tremendous. From the moment I arrived, the service was quick, friendly, and attentive.
The manager, Ricky, truly stood out and made the experience exceptional. He was professional, personable, and genuinely cared about providing excellent customer service. Rather than simply supervising from a distance, Ricky was actively assisting customers and ensuring his staff delivered outstanding service. His leadership and hands-on approach were clearly reflected in the positive atmosphere and efficiency of the entire team.

“Delayed review of Casa Jalisco in the Co-op in Hutto. We stopped by for our first time for lunch after workout on a Saturday afternoon. Decided to sit at the bar since it's usually faster. Weird layout that you have to walk through the dining room to get to the bar, but no biggie. Took a while for a bartender to greet us and give menus and take drink order. Probably another 10+ minutes for someone to take our food order. Over 30 minutes for the food to come out and they only brought my food, my husband's came over 5 minutes later. Luckily he had ordered an a la carte taco so he had something to munch on. Finally his "beef fajitas" came out on a plate, not a sizzling platter, and was cold. He asked for salad instead of rice and beans so they just threw some lettuce and tomatoes on the plate, lettuce was soggy from the meat and no dressing. Flavors were decent overall, but I can't look past both bad service and bad food. Unfortunately, we won't be returning. There are plenty of other high quality Tex-Mex restaurants around with prompt service and excellent food.”

“Over priced for the quality of the food. The food has been better in the past. The pie is still great. We had to request ketchup and addition napkins. The other servers were unwillingly to help our server . It was lunch time and they were not that busy. You know 10 years ago the restaurants encountered folks to use credit cards, now the restaurants charges you a fee for using them. I'm thinking that I should start deducting the 3% from the tip and make the restaurants make up the difference. I always tip and most of the time over 20%. I would like this restaurant consider offering free coffee when you order their high price pie.”

“I love this place! They have the best daily deals in town on their breakfast tacos! They are super generous with the fillings and the prices are incredible! The people that work the front counter are also very friendly and have such a welcoming attitude! The guy with the beard is a super nice guy and he greets me every time I go in to get my tacos! And the blonde lady that works with him, as well as the others always go out of their way to be very helpful and treat customers like old friends! They definitely know how to keep people coming back! “I am giving 5 stars but PLEASE talk to your staff about making sure people’s orders/changes to orders are exactly as they requested. I was about to give a 5 star review for the turkey club on marble rye, with no caveats, but I asked for no honey mustard and they lathered it on anyway.

May seem like a minor thing but honey mustard is sweet, I don’t want a sugary sweet flavor on my salty, savory sandwich. It made the eating experience slightly less enjoyable. Everything tasted very fresh at least!

The potato salad and carrot cake are delicious! Our 4 year old got the kid’s pigs in a blanket and ate them all up. His chocolate chip cookie was really good too!

The employee who helped us at the window was friendly.

“Dont pass on this place due to "gas station" stigma. If you pass, you lost a wonderful opportunity, friend. This isn't something like Taco Bell where you're ripping your shorts while praying for mercy. No. Not at all.

Krispy Krunchy chicken is where its at! Forget local fast food chains like Popeyes, KFC, Bush's and Raising Canes. Krispy Krumchy has that fried chicken crisp skin, with a VERY juicy/moist interior. With every bite youre reminded how perfectly cooked the chicken is. It's the flavor you've been craving since KFC canceled Popcorn Chicken buckets in the early 2000s.

Come in and grab some to eat!!! I'm a bone-in kinda guy, and friend is this a damn good bone. They generally serve both bone-in and tenders. Towards the end of the day only tenders are available but tthey're just as on-point as the bone-in and make for easier dipping or scooping (for sides, mentioned later). No dine-in options, unless you prefer your car or a parking lot without chairs/tables.

They offer ketchup and mustard for dressings (not that you need them, the chicken stands on it's own) and also biscuits - extra fluffy! - along with red beans and rice that are miles above normal grub; Mac n cheese which is admittedly not my favorite but has that home/country-style flavor and texture to it (not gritty or nasty, just different); and mashed ppotatoes 'n' gravy (which I feel are just the hidden sauce for your chicken to scoop).

My preference is to chase it down with a good lager afterwards. No matter what you order, the food here is great!

Atmosphere dinged due to cramped nature and awkwardness of ordering when there's other people in line to checkout for the gas station, order tobacco (and go back and forth) essentials and not Krispy Krinchy Chicken.

Before we even realized the cheese bread was missing, they showed back up about 15 minutes later with it and apologized for the mistake.
