“The food was awesome. We ordered Crispy corn appetizer and kadai chicken. The spice was at the perfect level, the naan was soft. Maya was very courteous with her service and prompt. She ensured all the questions were answered about the food, and we didn’t had to wait for long. Will revisit.”

“Whiskey cake is one of my favorite places to visit since moving to the Austin area on 4/7/24 a few of us gathered for a friends birthday. The service staff provides is always at the highest level, but it was exceptionally good on this visit. Our server was gracious, patient, kind and funny. He took time to give good travel and tattoo information when asked about his art work.”

The asparagus is thankfully not overcooked.Edit: The new lobster mac & cheese is great, oven-baked. If you're of a mind, add diced jalapeños.So many great personalities. Greeters Gigi and Noemi and server Natalie were super friendly and helpful.Edit: Greeter Deja and server Noemi were both delightful. Noemi has great menu mash-up recommendations.Edit: Greeters Haylee and Mikenna were super accommodating despite the high traffic time I stopped by. “I went into the restaurant today for an easy to go order. We enjoy eating there whenever we are in town. All I was picking up today though happened to be 3 jars of pimento cheese. The “best” pimento cheese ever! My husband and I had traveled to the area this week specifically to attend and participate in a beautiful Celebration of Life for one of the kindest people we’ve ever met. One of our bffs. Over the years the four of us have shared jars of pimento cheese, along with crackers; and many other fantastic offerings on the menu. Yummy, and it never fails to please us. Of course when getting an order to go, you go through the bar staff to complete the process. Today I was fortunate to interact with Cara in the bar area. She was fantastic; personable, while being excellent with her customer service skills. Upon finding out the purpose that we were purchasing the pimento cheese for, she immediately offered a complimentary jar. Very kind. We will always remember her empathy and kindness. Of course on our next trip here, there will only be 3 of us, but we will still enjoy our meal while we are in town.Great job Cara.”

“Came across a social media recommendation for this spot and figured it'd be a perfect family outing. Let me tell you about the Dirty Mac and Cheese, it's hands down the best thing I've tasted all year—cheesy, spicy, and the chicken just melts in your mouth. The chicken sandwich was solid too, generous portions and full of flavor. Same goes for the tenders. However, the spice levels seem a bit off. What they call "hot" feels more like a medium. Compared to Dave's Hot Chicken, it's not quite there. But I'd definitely return just for that Dirty Mac and Cheese.”

“My husband's pernil sandwich was excellent. A definite 5. My bowl was dry and oversalted. I tried his fries (wonderful), and they were salted well, so it's not like they oversalt everything. Love the fried yucca root. Beautiful ambiance.”

“Absolutely! Here's a glowing review for the Indian chaat truck:---?????I had the pleasure of visiting here for the first time, and I can confidently say it won't be my last! From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with impeccable service and a warm atmosphere. The cleanliness of the place was outstanding.We indulged in a feast of pav bhaji, masala chai, and vada pav, we really liked masala chai and vada pav. But what truly set this experience apart was the generosity of the staff. Not only did they go above and beyond to ensure our satisfaction, but they also surprised us with complimentary pani puri and extra pav, a gesture that truly warmed our hearts.It's rare to find such genuine hospitality coupled with outstanding food, but the Indian chaat truck has mastered the art. I wholeheartedly recommend paying them a visit; you won't be disappointed. And special mention to their “Chai”. It was really good”

Huge lunch!Solid rolls!Nini is back and still the best ever. Blue Moonlight, red devil, hot rock and hulk. Top 4 rolls! The avocado bomb was delicious as well. Restaurant got a make over and looks very modern inside.”

We started with the bar chips and dip appetizer, the chips could have used less oil but that is more my preference and not a knock on them by any means. The burgers were cooked well and had flavor. The kids enjoyed things from the kids menu. We went back the next night, just my wife and I, to share the banana pudding shake. It had a great presentation and tasted just as promised. I do with they had more options on shakes that didn’t have chocolate but in some cases it’s better to have less and excel at it.”
“Delicious food!! We have ordered twice for take out from here and both times the food was hot and tasty. Good spice levels and you can customize the level you want. We had the chicken tikka masala, tandoori chicken tikka, shrimp curry, garlic naan, samosas, vegetable pakoras, aloo tikki, pappadum and gajar halwa. No complaints about anything except we wished that they gave a bit more rice. Our kids liked the food a lot. The pappadum is a little spicy just so you know. The people are nice and the place is clean. We highly recommend you give it a try! We will definitely be back!”

Boneless wings weren’t dried out. Tavern cut pepperoni pizza was oily but tasty. Hickory brisket and bacon burger was cooked and plated perfectly. Fries were a little too salty. Overall a satisfying lunch.”

I got the herb crusted red snapper with asparagus and it was outstanding. If I was to describe it in a few words, I'd call it earthy Southern high-end cuisine. All the flavors that I remember from the best family gatherings and cookouts were there. You know, like that Uncle or Dad that marinades his meats for 24 hours and has the best barbecue that gets everyone taking. It's like that. Try the bacon wrapped quail. Rice was perfect. Brings back memories. Positive feedback for every dish at the table, good meal.”

“If you're a fan, this is a great place. Lots of space, lots of food, and (when SO and I went), clean! I have always loved Gatti's pizza. Starting from my highschool days back in the 80s, we had one a block away, and, whenever we all had the $2.99 for it, it was the spot to go to. While the old place is long gone, this place here brought back those memories. And not the physical place but THE FOOD! Pizza was warm and crispy and flavorful, the had pepperoni, ham, beef, with and without jalapenos, supreme, in both their trademark dough and deep dish. The deep dish pepperoni was AWESOME. Salad bar was on point. Lettuce and spinach and carrots and broccoli and onions.... everything was crisp and fresh. Dressings were full and creamy and the add-ons were delicious. The only bad thing I can say is that it was unusually COLD in there! Had to get our jackets to enjoy the food. And before I forget, clean bathrooms. Kudos to the staff.SO and I have promised to come by each time we go to the area.Thank you!!!!”

“Waffle House #2446 in Pflugerville, Tx. A long awaited addition to our local restaurant portfolio. In my house we have a "Love/Hate" relationship with "WH". I love it for the menu selection, the price and value and their amazing grits. My wife...well...not so much. So today while running errands I made plans to hit up the "WH" first. Seated quickly at the counter, where I meet a lovely couple here for a daughter's wedding. I wasn't to sure on what I wanted, so my server Brittney was very patient in assisting me. I got two egg breakfast with meat, toast and grits. It was everything I imagined it to be. The food came to me hot, bacon crispy, grits perfect and toast cooked to perfection. I couldn't have made it this fast myself. I absolutely love it. Every bite. I noticed everyone at the counter had the same opinion of their meals. This location hasn't been here long, maybe 6 months. But the crew is coming together. They flow well and flawless. They work well together, and keep busy, cleaning, preparing for the next guess and they make your experience special. “So, we made the mistake of thinking we could get a table at Cracker Barrel on Easter. We had reason to think it would happen - I don't want to talk about it.So, yeah, Denny's was our second choice. There. I said it. You know what? It was a pretty good choice.The staff seemed a bit overwhelmed. That's to be expected - it was Easter and they were a bit short staffed. That poor lady running the front of the restaurant - she was the real hero. She was clearly flustered, yet at no point was she rude or short or exasperated. Even while she was clearly exhausted, she was clearly making sure everyone she interacted with was having a good experience.We didn't have to wait long for a table, or to be waited on. Our waitress was very nice - obviously a bit worn out considering how busy they were. For the most part, everything was as we ordered and tasted great. It's Denny's - their food is usually, at the very least, at "Hey, that's pretty OK" level quality.HOWEVER, my 8 year old daughter ordered a kids' breakfast "Slam(?)" with, among other things, eggs. Except the waitress brought bacon instead of eggs.OK, in the big scheme of things, that's not a big deal. Miscommunications happen. Except this particular waitress (and I need to just reiterate that the entire time, she was still very polite and nice), when told my daughter was brought the wrong item, decided to just go to her notepad as if to basically say "Noooooooo, you said BACON!"She eventually got the eggs she originally ordered - though we were charged an extra $2 for them. Or, I guess we were charged $2 for bacon we didn't want. Whatever.Anyway, I just wanted to vent. Based on our experience on an extremely busy day for them, this Round Rock Denny's is A-OK.”

I come through here just about every night and I always do an online order on their app. When I come in between 2:00 and 3:00 in the morning and pull up to the drive-thru 95% of the time they already know who I am and ask me to pull straight forward. The people that work the night shift are very friendly they're nice they always have a smile and they like to make sure that their customers are happy. I have never had any bad experience here at all.”

“One of Round Rocks best kept secrets. As a family we love Thai food and we each have our favorites. Our go-tos are Thai tea, Tofu Thai fried rice, Pad Ki Mao and either a green or red curry with choice of protein.The Thai tea here was excellent not too sweet and tasted like they had freshly brewed the tea. The red curry ,fried rice and Pad ki Mao were also spot on. Price (in my opinion) reflected the perfect portion size. Nothing left to doggy bag but not so small that we left feeling hungry. We went on a weekend for lunch. It was busy but the staff seated us within minutes . They were attentive and hospitable. I really enjoyed my visit and will definitely be going back. Every single bite was better than the previous. If you have a love for Mexican seafood this is for you, if you have never had the pleasure of eating mariscos this is for you. I had 0 experience with ordering a cake from a bakery and was nervous.My SIL is a diva and changed her mind a couple of times, but Diane was very understanding and helpful! Honestly, I probably could have eaten the whole thing by myself if not for propriety sake! ??I also wanted to add that we drove this cake roughly 100 miles in a car full of kids and it made it there safe and was perfect to eat straight away. The look of the place from the outside is sort of unappealing, but that's not what important. Before this afternoon, I haven't had a Short Stop burger in well over 2 decades. They are just as good as I remember them. Our drive thru server, Maria, was so friendly, very nice smile, and looked to be very organized in handling the orders. We went just after noon and were driving off with our food in about 4 minutes from getting there. I don't remember why now that I stopped going. I'd remember a bad experience. I think I just started going to Whataburger, which is really hit and miss nowadays, at least this one closeby. Anyway, even though Short Stop is a little far I'll definitely be back soon. Part of it is that he doesn't eat rice and he's not fond of the Teppanyaki style cooking!!! Now for the positive there is another menu available and it offers sushi that is good quality so that's what he orders when we go there. My daughters 86-year-old mother-in-law also ordered off the menu and had a appetizer of coconut shrimp with a green salad and their delicious ginger dressing and she was very satisfied with her meal..That left eight of us that decided to have Teppanyaki, and once the staff took our protein orders ranging from lobster to steak, shrimp and chicken--we all were excited as our our talented chef arrived at the griddle .During the initial part of the show, (when there's lots of fire) out server was delivering bowls of hot broth and iceberg lettuce salad with that delicious ginger dressing they make !!! Those come along with all Teppanyaki meals. Leaving some pictures and videos below so you can see part of our showOur heavenly grandson used to love coming to Tokyo steakhouse for the show and for the food!!! I can't even tell you how many bowls of fried rice he would eat!All of our meals were good and proteins were prepared and we received exactly what we ordered. Stack of griddled vegetables was also cooked along with a huge mountain of fried rice. Complete with all the yummy things that go in it, especially eggs.We enjoyed the show. We all had great memories to share.If you do have a birthday in your party, there is a special celebration where some of the staff come over with Japanese drums and sing, happy birthday and present you with a complementary dessert.I had visited with our chef a little bit and determined that he had three years of training before he was able to come out in front of a griddle that contained paying guests .We all had a good time, the food was good if a little pricey, and the atmosphere is a lot of fun. “I went into the restaurant today for an easy to go order. We enjoy eating there whenever we are in town. All I was picking up today though happened to be 3 jars of pimento cheese. The “best” pimento cheese ever! My husband and I had traveled to the area this week specifically to attend and participate in a beautiful Celebration of Life for one of the kindest people we’ve ever met. One of our bffs. Over the years the four of us have shared jars of pimento cheese, along with crackers; and many other fantastic offerings on the menu. Yummy, and it never fails to please us. Of course when getting an order to go, you go through the bar staff to complete the process. Today I was fortunate to interact with Cara in the bar area. She was fantastic; personable, while being excellent with her customer service skills. Upon finding out the purpose that we were purchasing the pimento cheese for, she immediately offered a complimentary jar. Very kind. We will always remember her empathy and kindness. We started with the bar chips and dip appetizer, the chips could have used less oil but that is more my preference and not a knock on them by any means. The burgers were cooked well and had flavor. The kids enjoyed things from the kids menu. We went back the next night, just my wife and I, to share the banana pudding shake. It had a great presentation and tasted just as promised. I do with they had more options on shakes that didn’t have chocolate but in some cases it’s better to have less and excel at it.”

Let me tell you about the Dirty Mac and Cheese, it's hands down the best thing I've tasted all year—cheesy, spicy, and the chicken just melts in your mouth. The chicken sandwich was solid too, generous portions and full of flavor. Same goes for the tenders. However, the spice levels seem a bit off. What they call "hot" feels more like a medium. Compared to Dave's Hot Chicken, it's not quite there. But I'd definitely return just for that Dirty Mac and Cheese.”

That poor lady running the front of the restaurant - she was the real hero. She was clearly flustered, yet at no point was she rude or short or exasperated. Even while she was clearly exhausted, she was clearly making sure everyone she interacted with was having a good experience.We didn't have to wait long for a table, or to be waited on. Our waitress was very nice - obviously a bit worn out considering how busy they were. For the most part, everything was as we ordered and tasted great. It's Denny's - their food is usually, at the very least, at "Hey, that's pretty OK" level quality.HOWEVER, my 8 year old daughter ordered a kids' breakfast "Slam(?)" with, among other things, eggs. Except the waitress brought bacon instead of eggs.OK, in the big scheme of things, that's not a big deal. Miscommunications happen. Except this particular waitress (and I need to just reiterate that the entire time, she was still very polite and nice), when told my daughter was brought the wrong item, decided to just go to her notepad as if to basically say "Noooooooo, you said BACON!"She eventually got the eggs she originally ordered - though we were charged an extra $2 for them. Or, I guess we were charged $2 for bacon we didn't want. Whatever.Anyway, I just wanted to vent. Based on our experience on an extremely busy day for them, this Round Rock Denny's is A-OK.”

The restaurant had reservations available on Valentine's Day and we are so thankful we decided to go! The noise level was perfectly fine as we were seated in their private dining area. Our food was just amazing. The menu is pretty extensive and requires some attention to know what to order versus what you typically order at an ordinary Mexican restaurant.
