Great food no matter what time of day you go in. Only set back I have to say is a Lil pricey.
Menu
Louisiana Longhorn Cafe in downtown Round Rock offers a variety of Cajun and seafood dishes in a cozy setting with friendly service. The menu features popular items like shrimp, crawfish, snow crab legs, and the Fried Catfish with Fried Okra and Coleslaw. Customers enjoy the generous portions and flavorful food, with some dishes like the Boudin egg rolls and Whisky Shrimp standing out as special favorites. The seafood is fresh, including real shrimps used in sandwiches and other meals. Many reviewers praise the staff, especially one server who was described as sweet and attentive, ensuring a pleasant dining experience. The atmosphere is peaceful, making it a good place to relax and walk around downtown Round Rock. Drinks such as hurricanes and specialty cocktails add to the fun. However, some items like the bread pudding and seafood fondue received mixed reviews; the bread pudding was not well-liked, and the fondue was considered too thick and poorly made by one diner. Fries are generally tasty but can be a bit too salty. Overall, the restaurant is appreciated for its good food, excellent service, and friendly environment, making it a recommended spot for those craving Cajun and seafood dishes. Visitors often look forward to returning to try more menu items and enjoy the welcoming atmosphere.
