Extremely slow service. Worst dining experience we’ve had over the past month of being in Round Rock/Austin. Waited 15 minutes for a chip refill, even though they brought our queso (nacho cheese). Left it sitting long enough to harden before they even acknowledged that we needed chips with it. Asked for lemons 5 times with my drink, waiter couldn’t speak English so he brought limes over and over. Took over 30 minutes to finally take our dinner order. Went to have dinner there on Friday .. Paid my bill and left. The bank reconciled just fine and the appropriate charge was on the statements. TODAY (5-7-2024) they charged another bill on my card. As far as the food goes, several times we have been there and the...read full review

Based on the reviews, Sociedad offers authentic Mexican food, with the rice described as fluffy, awesome, and the best ever. The food is fantastic and delicious, with shots of authentic Mexican food. The service is excellent, with a friendly and amazing bartender. The atmosphere is casual, fun, and upbeat, with a nice place to hang out and live music as a bonus. However, some reviews mention the food is a bit pricey for what it is, with a $14 charge for 2 brisket tacos that did not include any sides. The chips, queso, and a side were served in paper cups, which was kind of weird. Also, the draft beer on the patio was described as sloppy and hot, with poor service from the bartender.
