“Great food and amazing service. Today was our first time at the restaurant and we will come back.

The lady who served us was very nice and professional. We did not need to ask for refills, she was always there.

Food was good, we ordered 3 meals and everything was tasty.“

I tried the Fo Sho and it was good... but Mo Faux was GREAT. Fo Sho just doesn't hold up to its predecessor.“

“I ordered for delivery this morning could decided what I wanted and it was first time trying this place. Got Tamales, Berria, menudo, and a breakfast platter. Everything was absolutely delicious, and the breakfast platter comes with 4 slices of bacon, 2 pancakes, and what looked to be at least 3 eggs scrambled for $5.99 yea you read that right. I'm about to eat through thier whole meun, if you love yourself you'll do the same.“

“At first I wasn’t too interested in stopping to try this place out. However, my fiancée made a small comment about how this could be good. So now we are here with this review and as you can see, it’s good!

The food is amazing all around. I’m give or take with chips and salsa but the green salsa was impeccable. We went through two cups of it in our time.

The tortillas are homemade from my understanding. Usually you’ll get cut out mass produced corn tortillas everywhere you go but these definitely taste and look fresh. This is coming from experience and not facts so I could be wrong.

I had the Alambre plate which is meat and bell peppers covered in Oaxaca cheese with Mexican ride and refried beans. While not a hard dish to make, it was executed great here. Nothing felt out of place in the dish, everything was seasoned well, and portions are large.

Overall the meal felt very close to home and is worth the visit for residents or anyone passing by. Will be coming here again soon.“

The Carne Guisada is out of this world delish and tender (melts in your mouth), the beef enchiladas are phenomenal and the Huevos Rancheros are the best I have EVER had!!! “We finally got to stop by and give them a try! We ordered Birrias cousin tacos and a birria quesadilla. (Excuse our pictures it was late and we snapped pics quickly so we could eat lol) The staff was friendly. Food was great! And order was ready quickly! I got to chat with the owner and he was friendly and made sure we didn’t need anything. For us getting there about 15 minutes til closing I honestly was expecting to either be rushed or having to wait and neither happened which was awesome! “Holed up in a gas station and the last hit on a day of taco/plate runs, La Texanita is a gold standard for all things street food. Sure they sell burgers and other various American foods but the rest of the menu is reminiscent of a walk through in a traditional street market.

The only white guy in the vicinity of La Texanita, I had the pleasure of growing up in a community in the midwest where hispanic roots ran deep and vibrant, so my taste buds require the authenticity this culture has to offer without it being watered down for people of my color; this place delivers.

Tacos Al Pastor, Chicharron, and carne guisada leave you no room for doubt. Cooked to order and made with pure love by the single cook in the back, the little inside stand with its mouth watering smells is a call back to home where cultures collided and simmered in endless harmony. These tacos are staples and a must buy when indulging on a quick lunch break.

The carne quesadillas bring sweet change to corn tortilla based tacos and the frijoles and rice compliments without drying out your mouth. Plato De Carne Asada will make you want to crack a dos equis and tune out the sound of your boss yelling at you to get back to work while watching the sun set over the Texas countryside. Lets be honest, your boss is probably a guy named kyle who thinks taco casa is peak Mexican food so we can leave him outside our Texanita induced food coma for a few hours.

Do yourself a favor and treat your tastebuds to a little taste of ?? so they can have a break from the POW camp style foods you are relentlessly bombarding them with. No seriously, you can thank me later.“

“My Rico bowl with steak (I know, pollo is in the name and yet I wanted steak!) was delicious!! I couldn't help but notice the place smelled so good from just outside the restaurant. I was going to take this home and eat it there, but with how great it smelled and looked I pulled into a spot to eat it right away! Really great flavor and great portions of everything. Not too spicy too!! I was very happy with this quick meal. The agua fresca piña was also refreshing.Update: I went back to try the chicken. It's pretty good!!“

“The food is always consistently good and probably one of the closest places to actual Mexican food in Round Rock. The drive-thru line gets pretty long and the wait can be annoying but the food is worth it, and their agua Frescas are pretty good too!“

“Picked up dinner here tonight and it was very tasty! The chicken nachos were extremely delicious, and the chips themselves were really thick so they supported the dense toppings really well! “I’m still going to recommend, but your dude with the blonde and brown curly hair has a bit of an attitude problem. Apparently me spending money on more than one burrito and putting two orders in at the same time is too much work for him. He kept shaking his head when I was trying to read from my list on what was needed on the other burrito. We were not happy visiting today. Normally don’t have issues, but hopefully he doesn’t help me next time.“
