“Stopped by after exploring The Loose Screw craft beer house in Old Taylor High. We ordered the Asada Mini Taco plate which comes with (5) and it's as authentic as it can be (if you know, you know). All you need is cilantro and onions and a bomb salsa! Flavor was on point but wish the salsa was a bit spicier (I love spicy so others may not). Tortillas were thin yet crispy. Would come again to try the rest! Can't beat the authenticity w/ the great and reasonable price.“
“Ok... 4 stars for food, service, and atmosphere. The food almost 5 stars. But, the price! You would be hard pressed to find this quality food at these prices anywhere else in Taylor. I recommend the Al Pastor tacos. Make sure to try their habanero salsa if your stomach can handle it, very flavorful! The fajita tacos are tasty and inexpensive. “Don't let the big sign out front that says Luigi's Italian fool you. It's Monarchas! I been in Taylor for two years and have tried everything here besides the fried chicken drive throughs and the Stockade place...and this is hands down the best place to eat in town. Great Tex Mex, the burger is solid but you can skip the queso...it's too much like Nacho Cheese. Get the Queso Flamado instead. Great service and super quick! Yum!!“
“We always see this place packed on weekends and so I was pleased with going on a weekday as they had less traffic come through. The Al pastor torta was amazing and so we’re the fried that came with them. I’m really starting to enjoy living in Taylor as there are really good food spots here. We also got the horchata which was spot on.“

“Small hole in the wall place and in my opinion, on of Taylor's best kept secret. Food is plenty and so much flavor and the Margaritas aren't wattered down. Seriously, The Price is resonable considering that everywhere is expensive now. When my wife and I want to go out to eat, this is our spot.“
