“Fantastic food, home made corn tortillas hot food and reasonably priced.Menu was a bit difficult to locate onlineI have provided recent menu for your reading pleasure. EnjoyParking: Parking was located by the vacuums at the car wash. No front parking avaliable“
“My girlfriend & I oftenly frequent Torchys as we did last night. There is always young lady working with a smile on her face and greets everyone. She is a wonderful asset to the restaurant. Her name is Alissa. I wanted to show my gratitude to her and we love the food as well. Thank You Alissa for great experiences.“
“The food was absolutely fabulous! I had the Chile Relleno which was recommended by my server and it was spot on. The serving was big. Another recommendation of Pastor Street Tacos was had by my mother and she found it fantastic! Recommend highly. Breakfast is served all day so my dad had Huevos Ranchero. He really liked them. We will definitely be back.“
“There are quite a few gluten-free options, but somehow they are not marked on the menu. They have gluten-free buns and you can substitute grilled chicken or fish for breaded. You can substitute corn tortillas in several dishes. None of this is noted on the menu. Ask the chef. Amazing food it really is worth it“
“In all honesty, one of the best Mexican food you can get in Austin (I guess technically Cedar Park). My wife is latina so our Mexican food bar is pretty high. Everything we've tried at this place just absolutely SHINED.For breakfast tacos, the staple bacon egg and potato is tried and true. Also can't go wrong with their chrizo and eggs. My wife makes her own chorizo so if she likes it from here that's a great compliment. My "go to" are the barbacoa and the chicharrón tacos (also available for lunch). Just beware that both are VERY juicy and could soak through the paper bag while in transport. The chicken flauta plate is amazing as well. Best flautas I've had. Comes with rice and beans, both of which were up to our standards.Highly highly recommend if you're in the area.“
“Greatly upgraded appearance. Cheese enchiladas still marginal/bland. Quesadillas amazing! We miss so many of the previous crew. Has the whole staff been replaced?Went again 3/23. Tried enchiladas Mexicanas. Amazing! Way better than Tex-Mex! Give 'em a try!“
“I don't like the general location but thats just my preference...the shared parking lot had a weird vibe. Overall the service was fast, polite and efficient. The queso and Carne asada was average for tex-mex style food, the chicken fajitas left much to be desired. The corn tortillas, charro beans, refried beans and rice were phenomenal.“
“As soon as we walked in we were greeted, sat, & our waitress Maria took care of us. She was really polite, all the staff were very attentive with us. My husband ordered the enchiladas suizas, & I got the gordita. The food was AMAZING! Overall a great place to visit when you’re in the area.“
“This was our first time and went to support Glenn for spirit night and we will be back!!! The food is authentic and absolutely delicious! The chicken fajita meat is all white breast, so tender and my kids are super picky and came back for seconds!! We’ll be back!“
“Been going to Texican Cafe for years now. It's right by a Serrano's which I would give a 4 star review as well so let me sum this up. While a place like Serrano's might have some great meals and is a bit fancier. Texican Cafe has more if a down home feel and very comfortable menu. They have your migas, enchiladas, and stuffed peppers, but wafting thru the air is the wonderful smell if fajitas. They have all kinds of sauces and they bring the heat with several offerings. There's plenty of choices, often a short wait even when it's full, a bar, and cool atmosphere. It's a solid 3 and a half but if I were leaning towards 3 or 4 I'd go with 4 because I love their Texican nachos loaded with everything and think they have a great chip. I love enchiladas and you can't go wrong there. I don't even have to think about it. I do the sampler or some sour cream chicken and they come with tons of refried beans and rice. I've never once left hungry and more often than not walk out 5lbs heavier than when I walked in. Could the inside use an update? Sure. Are there sometimes when it's packed and there's a 10 minute wait...yes but not 30 or 40. It's just good Tex Mex when I don't want a fancy menu or drinks and want to get out with a family of 4 or 5 for under 100 bucks. In a good location with easy parking too!Cheers!Kid-friendliness: Have a kids menu, easy to make substitutions for most meals, not a "bar" scene. People bring their kids because it's family dining all the time.“
“La Cocinita is a hole in the wall located inside a small convenience store on Hwy 183. Then there are only two tables to sit at! But the food is great! Two ladies, working their hearts out, make some very delicious Mexican food. I did not hear them speak one word of English. And while takeout may be your best option, I recommend sitting there, when you are able, and being served on their colorful clay pottery plates and bowls; they seem to bring out the flavors of the food even more. Their hot sauce is very flavorful and cleared my sinuses out. And not all items on their wall menu are available. One of us wanted enchiladas (regular order of four!) but were not available. So we had Menudo (which is some of the best I have tasted around and available only on weekends) a gordita de chorizo, and a taco de puerco con salsa verde. Cliente we saw were all Spanish speaking customers. They knew where to go for some down home cooking.“
“Me and my family had an amazing experience, waitresses and food are outstanding. They just renovated the place and it looks fantastic. I loved everything! I definitely recommend Serranos for all occasions where you are looking for good customer service and delicious food.“
“Love their Pollo Loco. Last time thighs were smaller, onions were more like a garnish rather than a bed of onions, no green peppers. Slowly Pollo Loco is changing to much less than it used to be. Still love the flavor though. I like I can get a side of queso rather than the full appetizer.“
“Never had bad service or bad food. Highly recommend the brisket tacos and chicken tortilla soup, the black beans are my favorite. Service is always friendly and attentive. We've never had to wait more than ten minutes for a table.Kid-friendliness: Also very family friendly.“
“One of my favorite local Mexican spots, even if it’s a chain — but had to deduct a star because right now I’m in a Whataburger drive through because even though it says that Taco Palenque is open until midnight and the Open sign is on and I drove out of the way for a steak burrito, all the drivethru signs are dark and the employees are sitting outside in the parking lot, so I guess I’ll be having a Dr Pepper shake instead. But all I want is a burrito.. ?“
“We had a fantastic time at Aleidas. It had a wonderful atmosphere, clean and vibrant with photos paying tribute to various chefs and artists. The TV screens showcase different Latin American countries. Everyone was friendly! Another exceptional small business for the community. We enjoyed the arepas and plantains. I would like to try the Aleidas sampler next time.Parking: There is plenty of free parking. If it's really busy you can park behind the businesses.Kid-friendliness: Very accommodating! They were so nice to the toddler in our group. We really appreciated it.“
