Excellent 1/2 chicken with excellent onion, usual sides. I missed living in the neighborhood near the #2 North Lamar location. I stopped by at a slow time of day, polite staff and great food. Took to go, but the place was clean and ready for business later on in the day. Grabbed a couple neighborhood newspapers as I left.
The chicken here is so delicious 👌
Good service and taste

El Pollo Rico #17 is the place to be for delicious food. The Rico bowls, whether with steak or chicken, are flavorful and come in perfect portions. Despite being next to a gas station, it has its own separate area and great service. The smell alone will draw you in, and the short wait for your meal is worth it. Whether you're with family or stopping by for lunch, this spot is a must-visit for a satisfying meal.
