“Donut Taco off 620 is one of those good little locally owned spots that makes you appreciate neighborhood businesses. They have a solid selection of breakfast and lunch options, and the inside has a simple, homely feel where you can actually sit down, eat, and relax.

I would have LOVED to have a place like this around when I was in school. It’s the perfect quick stop before school to grab something good and get on your way.

But the reason I’ll remember this place has nothing to do with the food.

My son wanted to choose his own donuts and conduct the entire transaction himself. Proud dad moment. He did everything on his own… and then accidentally dropped ALL of his donuts. 😭

The owner didn’t make a big deal about it. He simply replaced every single one.

My son will probably remember that moment for a long time, and so will I. Sometimes a small act of kindness is what turns a local business into a place you don’t forget.

“The food here very delicious!! I found another restaurant that makes clean menudo. Again these are rare to find. I have added this place to my list of favorites.
