“This morning was our first time in. It was busy but no wait, which is always a good sign. The staff was friendly and quick to take our order and offer suggestions. We asked if they would be willing to make breakfast quesadillas which wasn’t on the menu and they did without hesitation and WOW they tasted amazing! I did bacon egg and cheese with the green salsa and my husband not egg ham and cheese with both salsas. We’ll definitely be back!“

“We've found our new favorite taco spot, and let me tell you, it's a gem. The tacos were absolutely delicious! We tried the migas and potato egg and cheese - perfect for a breakfast taco fix. Unlike many places where tacos skimp on filling, these were generously stuffed—I only needed two instead of my usual three. Plus, they weren't greasy at all, which was a big win.Their homemade spicy and mild sauces were a highlight; both were incredibly tasty. If you like spice, definitely go for the spicy sauce! You'll also notice their love for dogs when you visit because there’s a lot of dog decorations.This is a food truck, so limited seating. Service was great. Food was delicious!“
“The food & the service were immaculate! We got a Quesabirria and it was amazing. It is very hard to find authentic Mexican food in/around Austin but Taco Chango did not disappoint! Jenny (the owner's daughter) took our order and she is so sweet and so kind! Despite everything being made to order and fresh, she got our order out to us very quickly. The food truck is also brand new, clean, and bright! They also have tables outside for you to eat. 10/10! Recommend! Great experience! Thank you Taco Chango. We will be back.“
“Best breakfast tacos in the south east side of Lake Travis! You can drive through the food truck without having to get out of your car. I had the eggs, sausage, potato, beans and cheese taco. One taco was plenty for me as it was a fully filled taco. The green sauce is a bit spicy, but tasty. My husband had two egg, chorizo and cheese tacos and these were amazing too. Great restaurant for an on-the-go breakfast meal. Polite and nice customer service! I wish I had taken pictures but we devoured them.Parking: We went on a Sunday morning and there was plenty of parking around.“
“OMG this place is bomb! I'm going out of my way to write a review bc they deserve it. My wife and I have been working our way through the menu over the past couple years. My go to's are the Baleada Especial (mind blowing hangover cure of a large homemade flour tortilla stuffed with refried beans, scrambled eggs, carne asada, fresh avocado slices, and a creamy sauce) and the Tacos Hondureños (5 flautas stuffed with pulled chicken and topped with fresh pico and thinly shaved cabbage served with sides of creamy sauce and consume). Honestly, everything we've tried is solid - barbacoa, pastor, papusas, etc. And their green salsa is something to admire. Support this fantastic food truck and the wonderful people that work there. They are so kind and provide an amazing food option for us here in Lago!“
“Went back tonight and enjoyed some more oysters that were presented with great detail. Ryan our server was a pleasure and had many suggestions: all of which knocked it out of the park again. The whole baked fish (Huachinango) was the star of the show. You can make your own tacos stuffed with all kinds of fresh Latin-inspired accoutrements. We will be back again soon. “Omg best tacos! It remind me of back home in the valley next to Tamaulipas. It is very hard to find authentic street tacos but their meat is very juicy and tasty. The tortillas are actual big!..yellow corn tortillas and the add one are even better. Lots of cilantro, onions/ cebolla, with lemon and super good salsa! “Mick has been serving the exact same, stunningly high quality brisket from this unassuming food truck on the corner of Circle Drive and Thomas Springs for twenty years. Everything made to order, super nice guy, when he has sausage get it. If he makes anything special, get it! But if it is one-shot then get a breakfast brisket taco with the cheese mixed with the eggs, OMG so good. After 10 or so just get a brisket sandwich. He grills the bread and with pickles and onions and the mild hot sauce is divine. He is usually out of stock by 1:30 and gone by 2pm but is there early. These sandwiches are double this price anywhere else. Magical secret!“

“I walked into the Shell convenience store for some gas and drinks when I started eyeballing the new kitchen installed inside I hadn't seen before...Then, I was immediately greeted pleasantly and enthusiastically by Chef Carlos, who started to temp me with a variety of fresh Tex Mex offerings, with tacos seemingly being a specialty. Once he said they had beef Birria, I totally caved, although I hadn't even planned to eat there.The tacos and the consomé soup I was given were so fresh and delicious! I can wholeheartedly and with a full stomach now recommend to anyone living out here looking for a quick, delicious bite to try this hidden gem located in the shell convenience store.
