“I went alone during a slow lunch period and got a cold cuts sandwich. It tasted quite good. The biggest issue was the wait time. It took them 10 minutes to take my order, then it took them 25 minutes to make a sandwich. The service was friendly but slow.Probably a great place to get a pizza while hanging out with friends, but the wait brought my experience down. Not a bad place, though.“
“Bri has great energy and a very positive attitude! She had a genuine smile, and was very attentive and patient with my kids. The kids also commented on her service and stated that she needs a really good tip and used some of their money! This experience was by far one of the best I’ve had.“
“Cool spot. They bring in local bands with a small $cover. I had a sangria, and it was delicious--I technically didn't have food. THE SERVICE SUCKED, but I would go again. There's a bar you can get your beverages at if your server is busy:)“
“This brewery has some of the great beers. I tried the Ghost Pepper IPA and it was just amazing. The bartender is very friendly person and he offered few beers for taste as well as gave some single cans. When I am in RoundRock area I will surely stop by for tasting more beers from this brewery.“
“We couldn't decide on one thing to order or agree on a dish to share... so I ordered 2 meals for each of us with appetizers. It was all AMAZING!! The flavors were so fresh. Everything was worth every savoring bite. I can't wait to go back and try more dishes. Made my night.“
“Hands down my favorite bar in downtown round rock! Starting with the bouncers, one of them has the nastiest attitude and is just rude every interaction you have with him (shorter Caucasian male unsure of his name) all of the other bouncers though are extremely friendly, funny and welcoming! Great first impression before even entering the bar!The bartenders- AMAZING! They’re quick, friendly and overall on point! They don’t treat you like just a customer, they hold conversations very well and might I add they’re all funny as hell. The atmosphere- the inside is amazing, it’s small but not too small and a nice stage! Enough room to dance. They have 3 really nice outside patios, one side has some games you can play and benches and stools for you to sit back and enjoy your drink. Upstairs is really nice as well, places for you to sit, a lot of room to stand and hang out. The live music is always phenomenal, the karaoke nights are so much fun.Overall 10/10 spot. I’ve never felt the need to complain about a single thing here.“
“Been coming to this Chuys for almost 20 years now. Still the best enchiladas in round rock. Came on Easter and had a late lunch at the bar. Both Ben and Jeremy working at the bar were super friendly, professional, and fun to talk to Thanks!“
“Review Update: BRING CASH (Dropped one star)We visited with our daughter for some apps and drinks on Sunday. On Monday I called in to ask why the extra charge of nearly $100? They advised that it was a 'temp hold' added when opening a tab and should 'fall off in 24 to 48 hours'. Today, was surprised to find the pending charge of $99.76 is STILL on my account 2 days later. I get that you want to mitigate for deadbeats vagabonds and scallywags, but this could be a serious game changer for folks on a tight budget. I strongly advise customers to BRING CASH to avoid Brass Tap holding onto such a large amount of money for more than 1 day. Also, recommend to first eat elsewhere; The Taps' once scrumptious and unique selection of hors d'oeuvres and goodies has become 18th century brig chow at best; much different qualtity than when they re-introduced their menu a couple years back: Korean Nachos, used to be our favorite. Salty thick sticky sauce, state fair cheap chips... simply overpriced and just 'meh'. (chicken wings were the star; at least edible to be fair).--Previous Review .. indeed still stands, overall--Such a fun place. I love to try beers that just can't be found elsewhere... The patio outback is fun too! These homies even sell decent cigars!“
“Our party of four sat at the bar for dinner. We were served by Michael!! He was amazing in recommending dishes and in seeing that we were well taken care!! He was very friendly and made us feel super comfortable and welcomed! Definitely a wonderful experience!“
“We sat outside for the beautiful view. It took someone over 10min to greet us. We ended up flagging someone down. Once greeted we paid out due to a time restraint. After our drinks came, we never saw the waitress again. We enjoyed ourselves because it was a fun night out but the service could have been better.“
“Jenny's attentiveness, professionalism, and positive attitude made our dining experience even more enjoyable. She went above and beyond to ensure that we were well taken care of, and her commitment to excellence did not go unnoticed.Thank you, Jenny, for your outstanding service. Your hard work and dedication are truly appreciated.“
“Went today with our 5 kids and man oh man did we LOVE IT! I got the smash burger and it was MOUTH WATERING my husband got the sweet heat burger and if it was socially acceptable to lick the plate he would have! My kids all ate their food wonderfully! “The best grilled cheese EVER” was a topic of conversation while on the drive back home! We sat out on the patio to enjoy the spring weather everyone was nice and attentive 10/10 definitely will be back!“
“Best place to get drinks in Downtown RR. These are actually bartenders, they know how to make delicious drinks and still have great service on top of that. l have yet to have a bad drink there, unlike most bars I have been to. They switch up the menu for special occasions and use fresh fruit. The bar itself is very small, but the decor is worth enjoying.“
“Very nice lunch visit. Crispy beef taco and the chicken chalupa were fantastic. I liked the chile con carne on the cheese enchilada very much. Beans very good. The pork tamale was excellent, though I was not fond of the tangy / sour green sauce on it. Well-made, just not my personal preference. Red salsa was perfect.Service was excellent. Atmosphere very nice Inside - as nice as you’ll find in a small neighborhood strip center.Very happy with our meal!I was most impressed with the way they cooked the meats. So next time I plan on trying fajitas or carne guisada, maybe both?“
“Part of the ROCK THE ROCK pub crawl, they were the last stop for my group. They were very accommodating and went out of their way to serve our group some beer after the previous 3 groups drank all the provided donated beer. Staff was working their tails off too as I had the largest group. The patio was awesome and a big hit w the group. Thanks for being awesome hosts.!!!“
“Honestly I can’t understand where those recent bad reviews are coming from but I find them to be very comical!! This amazing establishment has always been 100% on point EVERY TIME!! The bartenders are always laughing and having a great time and wonderful mixologists of some really cool and fun drinks and if they don’t know how to make it they ask you very politely (speaking from experience) on how to make it. This wonderful and inviting bar has always treated everyone no matter race or sexual preference with the utmost respect so for some people to say different is an absolute lie!! The prices are always very decent and the regulars are always very kind too and will just start up a conversation with you. It’s definitely a modern day Cheers lol I say that because it’s a neighborhood bar it’s very chill and there’s always a game or music playing and the entire staff is nothing short of fantastic!! Make sure you stop by and I guarantee you within a few minutes you’ll be hooked!!! It really feels like you’re hanging out at friends place!! So what are you waiting on already GOOOOO!!!!“
“A local hangout with great prices. A relaxed place to have a drink. There is food, but the menu is very limited. The music was nice. When I was there, they were playing C&W music. My only turnoff was that they allowed smoking inside. Otherwise, I enjoyed my visit.“
“Our Sunday morning class had our Christmas Party in a reserved room. The food was excellent, service very good. Environment very nice. The food was hot and delicious! ?Parking: Shopping center parking lot.Wheelchair accessibility: Seemed good“
“Even though we have had mistakes on our orders this place is well worth coming to. They will always fix your mistakes and the food is always extraordinary. Jason the manager has been extremely helpful and we love the fact that it is a small independently owned business that is absolutely delicious. I would recommend this place to anybody I have met!“
“The Cocos is one of my favorite spots to go to it may be very small and unable to dance at times, but the service is great the atmosphere is amazing and the DJ is always live. Kimmy and Ashley behind the bar are a fierce force to be recken with. Those ladies are busy and getting all in everybody's orders out. Cheers to the coco lounge “
“This is a place of smile joy laughs and and friendly environment. Welcome you with a smile even in the times we are going they make sure you have a smile and welcome have what you need. This a place with pool and music. Makes you remember enjoyment. A place where smiles last all night long. This a place we need right now with cov19. This a place where person can come with PTSD and not feel safe or welcome. So come by.“
“Barely anyone there on Easter Sunday, and we enjoyed our last minute plan. I drive by here often and wonder why it never seems crowded. I would imagine they would be busy all the time if they served food and you didn't have to get it from somewhere else. It's a nice atmosphere.“
“My wife and I discovered this place about 3 weeks ago. Since then we have been 5 more times. It is one of the most underrated Mexican food restaurants in Round Rock. I have yet to have something bad on the menu. The Mexican martinis are just as good. We watched them make them in front of us and you definitely get your moneys worth! (The girl that works behind the bar everytime we have been in is awesome!)I’m so glad we discovered this place and now have a weekly go to for Mexican food and drinks.“
“Plenty of smoking, perhaps a bit too much for comfort. Catch some second-hand vibes. Drinks? Good and affordable. Bathrooms, a tad spooky but get the job done. Big shoutout to T and the karaoke—made my night! This bar's a local gem, with friendly regulars. Embraces all cultures, so don't fret if you stand out. Cheers to a lively experience!“
“We just celebrated my husbands birthday at The Long Branch Saloon. What a perfect venue. We had an open bar open and also a food truck that provided the best fry's, burgers, nachos, and more. Both the bar and the food truck personal were great. If you have amy kind of gathering consider The Long Branch Saloon. Thanks Minerva“
“As a fellow Indian food enthusiast with trips to India under my belt, I know the struggle of finding authentic flavors in the States. But let me tell you, Rock N' Grill in Round Rock totally delivers! The atmosphere is casual and inviting, and the menu features all the classic Indian dishes you crave. But what truly impressed me was the freshness. They boast about using whole, natural ingredients, and you can really taste the difference. No frozen stuff here!I can't speak for everything on the menu, but based on my experience, I can confidently recommend their curries. They were bursting with flavor and perfectly balanced in terms of spice level. If you're a vegetarian, don't miss out on the paneer dishes – the creamy textures and unique spice combinations were fantastic.Overall, Rock N' Grill is a hidden gem for anyone craving legit Indian food in Round Rock. Highly recommend!“
