“Growler Express is a pleasant surprise. I chose it due to its proximity to my son's house in Manchaca. But I was pleased to learn that it could stand on its own merits. For one thing, its ambience is a cut above other growler bars I've been to. It's more like a bar with great selection of beer, a host of regulars, and inviting interior. Daily specials are posted behind the bar. Two TVs for your viewing pleasure. Plenty of seating given its relatively small size. And a great selection of local and regional beers. But what really sold me was that as we walked through the door the bartender was carrying a bowl of water for my small dog to one of the tables. Along with a dog biscuit. Food? Other than dog biscuits I'm not sure. I didn't notice any snacks available but I didn't really look. There is a small assortment of soft drinks. But what will really bring me back next time I'm in town is the hospitality the bartender show to my small dog. Jax and I thank you.“
“Family friendly with patio seating and small kids jungle gym.The Brunch Burger was fantastic. This was a burger of the month special. The burger had 1/2lb of ground beef, bacon, hash brown, egg, and cheese. The amount of fries was rather miniscule compared to other places. Besides that everything was great. Wide selection of beer and spirits.Two food trucks were present with one selling coffee products and one selling Mexican style cuisine.“

Hip hop...comedy...drink menu kinda week though...has nice fancy drinks but forgot about common folk....but it's a full bar so u can still get whatever you want instead...just not as easy as from the menu. Music mix is nice and inclusive. Refreshing to have good music out here in the BTX!“
“Fun if you like country dancing (not my thing, but I adjusted the stars for the review to be accurate for someone who likes country dancing). Very very crowded and busy which makes it hot. If you get dizzy or lightheaded easily like I do, I would suggest sitting down outside. Overall nice place, just wish it was bigger or the layout was better planned. I’ve been to some packed clubs, but this was something else.“
“I really wanted to like this place…and I did! Food was outstanding. We got the chicken fried ribeye, lobster roll, pork belly tostadas and a dozen oysters. Everything was fantastic, sat outside by the trees., just absolutely lovely. Great date spot. I can not stress enough how much I despise those pay at the table Toast™️ card readers. It’s uncomfortable for the servers, and patrons. Beautiful restaurant, will be back.“
