“I always come from Fort hood to canyon lake to Visit my sister and every time I visit I stop by and grab some beers and food from here. It has a great set up and very good environment. The staff is very friendly with good tasting and priced food. Plus a military discount I love this place.“
“Cool spot. We were just looking for a quick bite and figured we'd try some "bar food". Turns out, it's not bar food. Its fresh and delicious. My husband and I had the fried shrimp and they were amazing. They were a nice size, seasoned well and cooked to perfection. Ms. Sonya outside in the food truck was so sweet. “First things first, best fried pickles in the universe!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!I literally only come on karaoke nights! I don't sing well but everyone is so supportive lol I alsolove to people watch and cheer on the Karaokers! Its definitely a feel good spot! Dj Mic Lo is such an amazing singer!! He is good! It's definitely a dinner and a show!The people who come here are so friendly and encouraging and its easy to make friends here aweee I just make a day of it and go to the lake during the day and then roll in for dinner and drinks the foooooood is soooo yummy!I highly recommend the steaks tip and mash, they cook it to perfection! I invited two friends and bought them both the steak tips and mash and they absolutely agreed it was delicious the whole time they were eating it was just compliments on compliments and food moaning!The service is amazing. The staff is friendly and courteous, and they have that southern hospitality! They come and check up on you and refresh your drinks at your table! “This is a fun dive bar to visit for a beer or two. The decor will keep you looking all evening. The crowd is a mix of locals and tourists, and everyone was friendly. We saw a concert in the dance hall, and that was a really fun, intimate venue with a decent sound system in the hall. There was plenty of parking and it'a a nice drive out to the tavern. Overall, a fun experience!“
“Don't venture too far away from Food Trucks - the buzzer is less reliable and food might get cold. Stay close by and you should get fresh hot food - great staff, food, and lots of screens for sports as well as room to roam and games for kids, etc. Really a great spread out there. They REALLY need a quality sound system for the live music though - sound was really harsh and poorly mixed. Plenty of heaters for cold nights and lots of fans for most of the year! ???“
“We had a blast! The live bands were excellent, and the crowd enjoyed a great time. We ate from the food truck before the band started. We had the pulled pork street tacos, and they were alright. They had great drink prices. I would definitely return.“
“Cute spot, definitely a little hole in the wall place but the bathrooms were clean, Jena the bartender was super nice. Just beer and wine but the prices were so so so affordable. Good juke box, tvs playing movies and sports. Great little hometown bar. Only food Tues-Fri, I’d suggest weekends too but that’s just my opinion“
