The Hideout 2 offers great comfort food with fast and friendly service, casual dining inside or out, and carry out. The food is served in a timely manner, and customers are treated with respect. Fantastic fried shrimp and catfish come from the kitchen on the back deck, a great place for lunch when the weather is nice, with a cold beer from the bar inside. Dallas, the River Road Chef, creates excellent food, including the best Fried Shrimp ever had, beating any seafood restaurant. The catfish is crispy on the outside and melt in your mouth delicious, and the shrimp is crispy and succulent. Other meals include a cheeseburger and fries, hamburger, and homemade cheese broccoli soup. BOGO specials are on Wednesdays and Fridays. The food is made with concern, and the atmosphere is friendly. The food trailer is around back, and entering the bar is optional.
