“Run don’t walk… We just had the absolute best dinner we have had out to eat in… I don’t even know when. Everything was cooked to perfection. I can’t think of one thing that could have made it better. That says a lot because my favorite hobby is finding good food! Lol We were literally scrapping our plates clean. Not because we weren’t full, but because it tasted so dang good! We had the sirloin steak bites and the salmon. Both came with broccolini and mashed potatoes. Seasoned and cooked amazingly. This is my new favorite place.”

“Oh my goodness! Miss Carmen is absolutely incredible! I’ve had the pleasure of meeting her, and she’s the most amazing person I’ve ever met. Her love and care for our amazing CL community shine through in her delicious food and her pure heart.

I had the pleasure of trying her Brisket Enchiladas (I requested them with flour tortillas) and her Chicken Taquitos. Both were huge portions that were out of this world amazing and bursting with flavor. The taquitos came with her fresh guacamole, which was heaping high as well!

I couldn’t resist buying two dinners just for myself to enjoy over a couple of days. Pricing was spot on based upon the heaping dinner portions she provided as well! They were both so tasty and equally delicious! I’m definitely going back, and if you haven’t tried her cooking, you’re missing out!

She also offers most amazing and made to order smoothies, slushes and anything delicious in between!!! Definitely giving that a try next time too!

“Not only was the food amazing but the customer service was as well. I really hate going in and ordering food cause I’m shy but my husband made me go in and I’m so glad he did. The man at the front was so welcoming and he asked me what I liked and he made what I wanted and it was delicious! I don’t even think it was on the menu. If we are ever in town again we will definitely be back!”

I told her I was in the mood for a sweet coffee and she lead me in the right direction.
Seating is all outdoors since the inside is just where you order; but I personally do not mind that.
I do not undercard the complaints truthfully — and complaining about them being closed during the week or on a day they are typically open is just wild to do to a small business — life happens and small business owners sometimes have to close unexpectedly. Those review are definitely those who feel entitled to everything in life

“Per barista request I blind tested a new chia tea product they had today. Here is my review: Option 2 tastes closest to an original chai tea. Tasted very fresh, you could taste it wasn’t overly brewed. One of the top chai teas I’ve drank. Option 1: Pink-Chai was delicious due to its mild spice flavors. I think this options is perfect as an introduction to chai or for those who find regular chai to be too spicy. Very friendly and knowledgeable barista. Cute and welcoming aesthetics. This cafe is pet friendly to our leashed four legged friends. This shop perfectly brews their delicious teas/ coffees. I would highly recommend visiting!”

“I would consider myself a coffee enthusiast, so when on vacation I dread finding coffee that’s actually good. This one did NOT disappoint. I always get a caramel latte with oatmilk and extra shot… this was PERFECT. Nice and hot to start, espresso was rich and bold, oatmilk full and creamy (store bought I know but not the watery one). Thank you for great coffee! Keep it up.”

“Granny D’s was one of the highlights of our trip to Canyon Lake! From the moment we walked in, we were welcomed with genuine Texas hospitality that made us feel right at home. The food tasted just like a home-cooked meal, with generous portions and incredible flavor.

The pancakes were the biggest I’ve ever seen—and they were just as delicious as they were impressive! The coffee was fresh, hot, and excellent, making the perfect addition to breakfast.

If you’re looking for friendly service, comforting home-style cooking, and an unforgettable breakfast, Granny D’s is a must-visit. We will definitely be back the next time we’re in Canyon Lake!”

“The BEST Egg Rolls that I've ever eaten! The homemade Crab Rangoon, the Beef Fried Rice and the Sweet and Sour Sauce were really good too, but those Egg Rolls were the best! Called in the order and picked it up to go. Very polite on the phone. Tiny little out of the way place, my husband thought he was lost. But the food was ready when they said it would be.”

“Coffee and service is great. I wish you had better WiFi though. I would come in more often to do some work and get some coffee if the WiFi was better.

“Love love this bakery despite the negative reviews I would not let that keep you from swinging by and picking up the most delicious breakfast ever I mean this is by far the most delicious croissant and kolache I’ve had by far better than Wake Express and I’m typically a regular over there but since discovering Sweeties Donuts I’d much rather go here where it’s taste like a homemade breakfast and don’t skip out on a donut there lemon filled and maple donuts are to die for customers service 10/10”

“This is our go to Mexican restaurant. We love tge food and eat in every time. It's seat yourself. They can handle large groups or just the 2 of us. The wait staff is great and the plates are always served caliente. They seve lots of food for the money.”

“The breakfast tacos at Mimas Tacos to go are delicious. You can pretty much create your own with a wide variety of meats (the chorizo sausage is delicious), eggs, cheese, veggies, etc. plus a small salsa bar to add any zing you might want. If breakfast is this good I’m sure lunch and dinner versions are great too! Great food, fast and friendly service.”

“This is not a good subway. I placed an order online and soon after I placed it I received a call saying that they are running out of bread and only have one kind of bread left. I said it is fine for the bread and to continue with my order. They told me that is fine but to give them an extra 15 minutes due to it being very busy. I told them that is fine. So when it was almost time to go get my order I received another call saying that they have run out of bread and had to cancel my order. The guy that called me said they tried to call me several times. I told him that he was laying about that because my phone had not rang. I also said that I have a Apple Watch and it did not ring. I do not believe this is good business. This does not make the first time for them to cancel an order for me. We do not eat out often. I just do not understand how you as a sandwich shop can run out of bread. Who ever does the ordering needs to know how a business works. Now you have lost my business and I will drive the extra few miles to spring branch.”
