“The food was good, just ok, nothing to write home about. The servings were great. My hash browns had no flavor, but my sausage and gravy was good. The rest of my family had hamburgers which they said was good, but like any other burger and fries. The waitress was the best, as was the atmosphere. I loved where they put extra straws. We will be going back the next time we go back to Canyon Lake.“
“The most amazing carne guisada tacos I’ve ever had! You can also order your tacos however you want, I also had a Potato, egg, bacon, onion, cilantro and cheese. And these tacos aren’t DINKY like other places, big portions for the price which is increasingly rare these days. The staff is friendly and welcoming. The lake views and atmosphere was perfect. I will NEVER be going back to Mima’s or Shamrock Tacos again.“
“Food was over the top good. Fried mushrooms very good and we had the chicken fried steak and also very good. Real friendly server and the place was packed at lunch. Clientele was a strong mixture of retirees and middle aged people. Parking lot was full and had to park next door.“
“We moved from NB to CL a few months ago, and this is our new go-to for a quick delish bite to eat. The food is consistently good and ordering with them through the "Toast" app is quick and easy. I can drive down the road and chill in the car and I get a text when it's ready if I have walked up and ordered at the window. The staff is always smiling, super friendly, and accommodating.We have had the Patty Melts, several types of burgers, onion rings, tots, and fries. I would get each item again.Definitely recommend and can see this being our after river spot for a long time!“
