As a self proclaimed Tex Mex snob I can’t go on enough about Nimia’s Salsa at Las Barcas in Canyon Lake. I absolutely require it when I make lengua tacos at home, and I adore it with tortilla chips, and in the spirit of full confession - I always end up eating a straight spoonful of it anytime I use it. The food is good - my favorite is the fish. The manager Daniel is super helpful and the server Maria is super sweet. It's great to have a local Mexican food restaurant that is open 7 days a week here on Canyon Lake.
