“We made a reservation here for my boyfriend’s birthday and had an amazing time! We sat outside on the deck, and the ambiance was great. The sourdough and smoked salmon dip was delicious and everyone loved their entrees. Molly, our server, was absolutely fantastic! She brought a dessert out for my boyfriend with a candle at the end of our meal and played a harmonica while we sang happy birthday. We couldn’t have asked for a better night. Will be back again!“

“Wineaux is just getting started, but I've already stopped in several times, as It is an absolute pleasure every time. I've chatted a bunch with Peggy, I've also met Mike and Rutherford, and they're all so knowledgeable and just lovely to be around. Peggy often plays silent films on a screen, as well as lovely music. I love that I'm able to find wine here that I can't find anywhere else, as well as chat and get proper recommendations from actual Sommeliers. It's an absolute pleasure. I'm only hesitant to recommend it because I don't want them to get too crowded for my own selfish reasons, but I also want them to do well here, because they are so wonderful, so I have to highly recommend them. Just leave room for me at the bar, please. ☺️🥂“

“This was our first time going here. The hostess was very polite and accommodating. The server was very friendly, and helpful with the menu. My wife had the French Dip. It was amazing. I had the shrimp protein power bowl. It was very flavorfull. We will most definitely eat here again.“

“Really enjoyed our meal there this last Saturday. When I attended college at SWT back in the '80's this was the high end go to place...especially for parent visiting from out of town. Now I am the parent as we visited for a Sigma Chi reunion and to show my HS senior step son the campus. It felt good and JORDAN, our waitress was OUTSTANDING. It felt good being there.“

“Finally got to try this place after having it pinned. Food was good and did not disappoint! First, their tortillas de masa (corn) are fresh. Met the owner and he was cool.
He mentioned that they are in the middle of renovations so I’m looking forward to what’s to come. I’m hoping to collab with them and bring some ‘Deep House’ vibes and a new hot spot in San Marcos! (cough, cough) :D
The Carne asada taco, tuna tostada and fish taco and the quesadilla de asada are definitely worth trying for yourselves. I did not try this but the burrito from the table next to us looks promising. A local business definitely worth checking out and supporting imo“

“We just had our Jack C. Hays High School 50th Reunion at Ivar's River Pub, Saturday, Oct 4th, 11am-2pm. It was an amazing gathering; the outdoor venue incomparable because of the gem of the San Marcos River view, the drinks and food delicious, the service great, and working with Denele Gunnarson, VP of Ivar's was refreshing. Thank you Denele and Ivar's River Pub for helping make our 50th Reunion so memorable! The 'spirit' of Ivar Gunnarson and his legacy is alive and well on the beautiful banks of the San Marcos River. Gerrel Williams, Chair of the 50th and Marieta Hutchison, 1975 Hays H.S. Class President.“

“This place is absolutely awesome. The bartenders are super friendly, the atmosphere is so welcoming. I’m a big fan of their outdoor seating with a fire pit, lots of beautiful lights & screens. They have various games like ping pong & corn hole that’s just so entertaining. Their new menu is just delicious too! As a new resident of Buda TX, this is the perfect spot to enjoy an evening out with friends or alone 🤗✨.“

“This is by far my favorite dance hall. I live in San Antonio, but make the drive here Thursdays occasionally and it is always fun every time and worth the drive. The atmosphere, crowd, amazing dancers, and staff are all so welcoming. I hope to see a mavericks built in San Antonio one day!“

“My favorite bar in the SQUARE*Reasoning: Service is immaculate; the owner, Sean; as well as Ben* have p it together a team of young college-aged workers who make the environment fun, saucy and SAFE. They were super friendly, attentive, and made sure we were always taken care of, even when it got busy. The drinks were great, the energy was fun, and they made the whole experience even better.
