“My wife and I drove to Buda for some work and found this place. This was such a good find. The owners were so friendly and offered to make any drinks we would like from so many flavor options. My wife went with Salted Caramel Crème brûlée mocha and I went with Butterscotch mocha. Both were flavorful and tasty. If we were living in Buda this would be our goto place for coffee.“
“I arrived for my very first Uncle Buda experience as they were opening up for the day. After a warm welcome I ordered their Thursday special, Yakisoba. I'm from the Pacific Northwest and up there Yakisoba is everywhere and it's one of my all time favorite noodle dishes. Uncle Buda nailed it! The sauce is sweet and savory, with bursts of fresh ginger. The noodles were perfect. My only complaint? I ate the whole thing in one sitting ? if you haven't tried this spot yet, I highly recommend it.Also of note, there are places to sit and eat outside, which is lovely, but I drove all the way home to Kyle before eating and it was still super hot!!“
“This little gem right past the middle of the town is a great place for a sweet tooth! On a chilly night, the hot chocolate was the perfect touch! The mini donuts were hot and fresh! Cinnamon sugar and delicious! My favorite was the Sin-Ville! Abuelitas meets a super cool grandma and it's a hot chocolate party!! Jake the owner was so helpful and gave great service!!!“
“Ate here on a rainy, cold evening in April. The meats were delicious. Seriously, they were excellent. I really liked the pork ribs and brisket. None of the sides were very good (beans, slaw, elote). The jalapeño cheddar sausage was pretty good (not spicy enough for my taste). The bread was fine.“
“This was our first time coming here and we are glad we did. This food truck is located with other food trucks in a gravel lot with a strip of businesses. Great customer service, they were all so friendly, they were so kind about remaking one of our orders with no problem or hesitation. They have a covered outside seating area with plenty of seating. The food was delicious, everything we ordered was all so good. We ordered the mini tacos with pastor and carne asada, sopes de carne asada, and pambazo with chorizo and papas (potatoes). The tacos were filled and had plenty of cilantro and onions. If you order you plate of tacos with “everything” it comes with pickled cauliflower, carrots, and grilled green onion bulbs (yumm). The sopes were on point, the masa was perfectly light and crispy not thick and doughy or dry, perfectly layered with refried beans the meat of choice and then perfectly dressed with lettuce chopped tomatoes, Mexican crema and queso fresco. The pambazo was a sandwich that had soft chopped potatoes mixed with chorizo layered with lettuce, crema and queso fresco the bread was perfectly toasted. Everything had great flavor. Not to mention they have 3 different kinds of salsas and they were all flavorful and 1 with really good spicy spice. They also had aguas frescas. The establishment is *CASH ONLY* so make sure you have cash on hand.“
“Over the years service has changed and gotten less and less likely for us to return: the way the meals are served/ made now are filled with grease and make me sick right after: I also have lots of food allergies and used to be able to ask them to change their gloves and use a differnt cutting board etc etc. in fact, we would purposely come here because of how awesome they were about our food allergies now they acted shocked and confused when I asked them to wear gloves. When I mentioned I had a dairy allergy they still put cheese on my sandwich and I was very sick afterwards for about two or three days. It sucks that a place like this is really going downhill. There is one really tall guy that appears to like his job and take it seriously and he is always super kind and respectful to me. He doesn’t check the bags to ensure quality service : nor did they offer me a drink carrier: those are simple things we would need as humans: he is always so nice that I didn’t want to be rude or mean so I suffered with my sandwhich, no napkins, and then it backfired and I spilled my milkshake all over my car: it was a godsend because my car needed to be cleaned anyways, but it is still stressful for me whenever I used to brag this place up to everybody and then now I really kind of can’t take it seriously anymore.Vegetarian options: Vegan options too! Like the veggie burger but it’s total mush in the inside:Not like a burger at all. It’s okay on flavor though.Dietary restrictions: Gluten free and dairy free folks beware and remind them multiple times it now seems to be a thing they forget: they used to be so good about this,“
“As the name implies, it *is* a "backyard " with slightly sloping ground. You are allowed (and adivsed) to bring a folding lawn chair unless you want to stand for an entire concert. Sound system is pretty good. Adult beverages and food, including bbq are available. I would enjoy going there again.“
“There’s a new Italian place called Amici’s that just opened up this week. It is sharing space with Stony’s Pizza at 9521 US-290. We went to Stony’s for a calzone (NY Style) then realized we could order from both restaurants and also tried the Shrimp Marinara. Last night was Amici’s fourth night in the new space. Used to be a very popular food truck in Buda. Please support this amazing new restaurant! If you remember Verona, let’s not do that again - everyone kept it a secret so it wouldn’t get busy but in the end that forced them to move to Lakeway. Go. Eat. Introduce yourself. Then tell your friends! I promise, you won’t be sorry.“

“My husband and I’s favorite place!!!! Their Mac and cheese is to die for. We have loved every sandwich we have tried from them & soups & burgers!Last time I got on my burger bacon and they forgot to put it on- I never even realized because the burger was sooooo good but the owner texted me refunding me the bacon and saying sorry that he forgot it! I was like oh wow seriously no worries I didn’t even realize it because the burger was so good ?Also the chips are just the best. You have to try this place if you haven’t!
