“Really enjoyed my meal! The food came out super fast, which I always appreciate, but it was super hot and clearly fresh. Especially loved the egg rolls and thought the spiciness level of my noodles was just right (I got level 2 out 3 and it was just spicy enough). The food truck park here is also really nice, great “
“Review is for Simpson's BBQ Food Truck, not the actual location if they have one. They were at the HEB Symphony with a bunch of other food trucks. The line was 30+ people deep when we got our food. My partner really wanted reasonably priced barbecue, so here we waited. You can estimate about 1.5-2 minute wait per person (took us about 30 minutes with 20ish people). The prices are very reasonable, but you get what you pay for. The nachos had barely any meat and the meat was dry. It was a respectable amount of nachos that were a good snack or light meal, though, and they were better priced than other food trucks. I'd go for two hot dogs over nachos next time if I wanted to have a meal.An extra star for the nice lady collecting ticket numbers that was patient in explaining customization options while waiting, including lemonade flavors.“
“They do catering at our office and I’m glad they’ve vegetarian option in terms of veggie taco. It has some fajitas, beans, onions, cilantro and cheese to top it with. You can choose flour or corn tortillas for tacos. And it comes with either spicy red salsa or mild green salsa. And lemon wedges. It was good experience.“
“Y'all this is the seafood spot! This is how seafood should be done right here! We had a few different things to share and each was absolutely delicious. That coleslaw is acidic and fresh. Those hush puppies were huge and delicious and shrimp were huge and amazing! We also tried the alligator, fish and crab cake avocado and I'd recommend to give any of them a try! I'm not from Buda but it will be a go to place any time I'm in town! Great job! *clapping hands*“
“Clark's is such a special spot. I personally don't love sitting inside because they have such a cozy little patio and I love sitting out there on a cool evening as the sun begins to set. It's surrounded by trees, warm lights, and neon signs. But we snagged a last minute reservation and all that was available was standard seating. They really set the mood as the evening progresses with the tea light candles and dimmed lights. We were greeted and seated immediately. Carrie was our waitress and she was friendly, attentive, warm and so easy going. It had been a while since I had dinner here but I knew I wanted crudo plate, it is probably my favorite item from the cold bar. Clark's is a treat. If you're on vacation in ATX, it's a must. Or on any day where you feel like having the freshest, delectable seafood.“
“Went to visit my brother first time for myself and my mother the vibe was great. The waitress was nice just didn't like she kept taking things (plates) away without notification or asking if we were done with it I understand the place gets packed and need to move along the parties but my brother wasn't done with his marinara sauce and a few bites of his appetizer, and my son was still playing with the dough ball that was given to him to keep him busy, I still had a few bites of my pizza left when the waitress came by while we were talking and took it. But overall food was good.“
“Considered some of the best Tacos in Austin by so many! I AGREE! Authentic Mexican Street tacos are what I love. That being said, I must hold you to a higher standard and compare to tacos stands In Houston, San Antonio, and Southern California. It was a Tuesday so I was able to get Tripas and I heard Buche was on point here as well. I requested my Tripas tacos to be “crispy” like I always do. They came over burnt. Fortunately, I like burnt flavors, but not as overwhelming on my Tripas. I picked out some of the more over burnt pieces. I’ll have to give a 3 star for the Tripas Tacos. Buche tacos and the Salsa did redeem the meal.“
“My family and I came in around 1 pm and we waited a little bit more than an hour. But let me tell you, omg best bbq I’ve had. The brisket was so moist!!! The ribs was falling off the bone and the turkey was not dry. The sides are good, wished they had more options. The sausages were flavorful. The staff were so nice and let us sample some food while ordering because it was our first time. Forgot to order some pies to try but will definitely be back in the future.“
“We loved our barbecue meal at Terry Black’s! The line was long, but it moved quickly and it was nice to get a cold beer while waiting in line. We ordered the brisket, pork ribs and cheese sausage with mac & cheese, coleslaw, and beans & rice as sides. I don’t know why no one has mentioned the beans and rice in their reviews. They were phenomenal! The brisket was delicious as was the sausage. Don’t bother with the pork ribs stick with the beef ribs. The mac & cheese was also really good . Definitely hit up Terry Black’s if you are in Austin!“
“Had such a great experience at Caroline’s Upstairs. Bartender Uly helped make two very special custom drinks for my friend’s bachelorette celebration. Uly also helped get us all the ice shots we needed to ring the bell!! Great vibe, live DJ music, and friendly staff/patrons. Highly recommend for all ages groups.“
“Had the pasta with some rosé and the blueberry cornbread for dessert. Wonderful veg comfort food after a long day, great outdoor space, wonderful service. They let me put up flyers too. I love their fair employment policy, will definitely be back!“
“Whew, pricey, but excellent upscale mediterranean. Terrific waitstaff, beautiful dining area. Parking is problematic, but not too difficult. Had the chicken kebabs and lamb/beef kafta. Well cooked and presented -- the lemon/onion beautified basmati was excellent. The sticky date cake is killer good!“
“I was there with a small corporate group so I was fortunate that I got to try about half the menu in one visit; and it is completely worth the hype! From the fritters to the smoked turkey and brisket, all the way back to the simple coconut scented rice, you can’t go wrong.“
“We enjoyed some great food at this place that was filled with a laid-back yet energetic atmosphere. We had the jalapeño cheddar sausage, chicken apple sausage, turkey sandwich, fries, boudin balls, and fried pickle spears with a variety of drinks. I almost forgot the yummy snicker/ice cream dessert. My request would be to offer it without Snickers because it was a bit thick and has potential issues with allergies. All of it was good, and we'll be back to try more of the drinks and grub with our next visit.“
“Moved to Austin recently and was looking for an authentic Jamaican spot. After finding this place, I don't think I will have to look any further! The bone-in jerk chicken with the rice & beans was packed with flavor and made with love. The plantains are the best i've ever tried, and the beef patty was amazing also. This place will leave you feeling satisfied and happy!“
“Absolutely love this spot: it's my home away from home and I am here at least 2 times a week. The bartenders are so helpful and lovely, the pizza is great and the vibe cannot be beat. Whether you are stopping in for happy hour, dinner, or a workspace during the day, don't sleep on Pinthouse :)“
“I've always had a great experience coming here. Today I stopped by desperately to get coffee and a quick bite, as my salon across the street doesn't have food choices. The gentleman this morning, made my day by gifting a vegan coffee cake for my morning. Thank you.“
“Food & atmosphere were so great - I love the dog polaroid wall, even before trying the food I could tell right away that this was my kind of establishment.Madi served us and she was AMAZING, she was such a sweet person and made our whole experience so fun. Whoever is in charge over there, make sure to give your girl Madi some praise because that is a 5 Star team member right there.“
“I've been eating pastries, ice cream from this place since they are in downtown. Moving to New location made it even better and I love everything they sell. Definite 5 star experience everytime.Kid-friendliness: There is plenty of open space for kids to play and some kid friendly items like slide.Wheelchair accessibility: It is wheelchair accessible from parking to order and tables.“
“10/10 experience from an unsuspecting location! Amir (owner) is the kindest person, takes real pride in his work, and serves the most delicious food! I am vegetarian and get the falafel garden plate and every vegetable is cooked to perfection plus the falafel is perfection. Also, the portion sizes are huge!!“
“This was a suggested location by the local bomb squad and man was it the BOMB! Great set up and outside atmosphere. The owner/operators were fantastic, happy to see us and offer opinions for 1st timers. The brisket and sausage were the best I've hade in all my Texas travels and will be back again when even close to the area.“
“First time here and I tried the Rad Brew! Employees had great recommendations for what I was looking for. Huge selection of signature drinks- perfect for every craving! Bought some sweet treats as well that I purchased for some friends! MUST TRY IN AUSTIN, TX!“
“So glad we found this place! We were next door getting our car washed and the owner of the car wash recommended we go across the street to get a drink while we waited. The vibe in this pace was so cool. A friend that was with us said that the place felt like something from a movie scene. The bartender was very nice. I had the frozen Irish coffee. It was SO good!! I love souvenirs and the was excited to keep my cup. We will definitely be stopping there next time we are in Austin!“
“Tuesday, 7:30 pm. Boarded up, hours do not reflect the business actually being open.Edit: originally reviewed a 1 star due to business closure, they did leave an Instagram post indicating the closure so updated to 4 stars. Check @rnbssteakandfries before going just in case. Hope I can try them next time.“
“Addison was THE BEST! His knowledge of the menu was impeccable, his personality made the entirety of our experience, and he is an all around a GEM! We were celebrating my sister in laws birthday and he was the perfect addition to our evening. 10/10 recommend!! the only interesting thing was the wellness charge ? That was a new one.“
“Saw this place walking by while day drinking on SoCo. We spotted the bar and went in. Our bartender Sydney was incredible. She made us very good drinks and was amazing company. She was working harder than anyone I’ve seen making all drinks in the bar. Without Sydney our experience would have been diminished.“
“This place was so wonderful that we ate here two days in a row. The staff are the shining star of this restaurant. They were all extremely accommodating, prompt and friendly. They are the only restaurant in Austin that we had a great experience with…,the other restaurants were run by employees who clearly could have cared less about their customers. I highly recommend everyone check this place out.“
“Perfectly prepared Seafood, comfortable but elegant ambiance, and a great location. A nice high end but low-key spot right near the iconic Austin music spot, Antone’s.The kind crab was perfectly cooked. The braised greens had the subtlest kiss of Serrano pepper. It is seafood with a whisper of the south. The chef is James Beard award winning MASHAMA BAILEY of Savanah, so that makes a lot of sense. The vibe was relaxed but high-end.They bill this as a southern spot. I think it is more a seafood place with a whisper of the South (not to be confused with “Texan cuisine” a cousin but something entirely its own thing.)The restroom is hard to find - it is in the hotel lobby but they do not have good signage. It is buried in the back of a second elevator bank area. They have a neon sign in a different spot announcing that it is NOT the restroom - but nothing of its equal to show you where you should go / where it is.They set up shop diagonally across from Eddie V’s (seafood and chop house) which has been there for decades.Vegetarian options: This was the one area of real opportunity: there were very few options for a vegetarian / vegansDietary restrictions: Greedy for keto and gluten allergy folks!Parking: No garage. No street parking $15 for first 3 hours of valet.Kid-friendliness: Not a kid spot.Wheelchair accessibility: Very wheelchair accessible throughout“
“I'm Haitian/Cuban Brooklynite and I've been looking for a place in Austin that will help with my Caribbean cravings for aLOOOOOOOOONG 6 years and WOW this place was definitely worth that wait. The flavors are layered, the meat is juicy and succulent the sauce is spectacular. The plantains and fries are fresh and crispy. You can tell that they care about the quality of their food. Now let's talk about presentation, just because they are food truck doesn't mean that they skimp on the visuals. I'm highly impressed and will definitely be back. So so so happy I found this gem ?“
“I like it when the menu is simple, contains a few things, and it is done quickly and well. Sitting outside is the only down side, but the burgers are delicious. Although this place is a few years older than Whataburger, it has that same Texas-style burger vibe. The kids love the hotdogs and soft serve ice cream.“
“Had an absolutely delicious latte from Radio today. It was everything I was expecting and more. The extra parking behind the Cafe was especially nice.Made for an excellent stop for a meeting. It was loud enough to give a sense of privacy but not so loud as to be distracting.I'll definitely be back.“
“Great place for kids!!This place was recommended to us by a friend and we decided to stop in on a random Wednesday to check it out. The property is a bit far (we are based in NW Austin), but it is beautiful. It has ample outdoor seating - I would keep this in mind if the weather isn't awesome... not as much indoor. However, if the weather is beautiful, outdoor is the way to go.We are always looking for places to go to entertain our toddler and this fits the bill. Playscape for him, food for everyone, and drinks for mom and dad. Keep in mind the play scape isn't closed in, so keep an eye on the littles, they could run out. I only mention this because knowing this fact is important to me, but definitely not a ding on this place.“
“One of my favorite places to go with my husband to relax and have coffee and a donut's. I go about once a week. People are so nice a welcoming say have a great day and welcome something a lot of places lack in doing this days. Keep up the good “
“It's great, it's pet friendly, excellent food, and chill staff.I had their Reuben sandwich, The pastrami is smoked the cut and very flavorful, couldn't taste the sauerkraut (excellent place to try a Reuben for first timers), The rye bread is very mild and slightly sweet very unique spiral pattern and delicious. Wife had the pretzel, ? she wasn't that hungry but said the beer cheese sauce and ground mustard was delicious. She made me try the last bite of pretzel, it was slightly sweet which was interesting and appreciated, but dipped in their cheese beer sauce was next level. Their flavor combinations just hit different in the best way.Wife had the American lager as she's prefers Coors & Miller lite, I went with their dark lager which was bold yet smooth. Definitely appreciate the realistic ABV levels so you can do something with the rest of your day lol. They're green tea jello shots are actually pretty tasty and fun to order if you're celebrating something.Definitely a bring your own friends place, Not somewhere I would advise the single ready to mingle crowd. But if you got some good people with you you're guaranteed to have a good time here. Can definitely recommend.Parking: Parking is off 5th Street, behind the building. They have their own lot (Yes you can enter directly from the parking lots as well).Google maps will take you to the front of the building though. (Which there are a couple of spots and a couple of handicap spots only, there is also a 10 ft double-sided bike rack)Do not attempt to park anywhere else in the front or businesses beside it they will tow.(Cesar Chavez and the streets connecting between 5th are all both directions, so it doesn't matter how you get there if you will get there)“
“The food is really good and the staff seem happy and nice and knowledgeable. Had the $16 biscuit sandwich and it was great. Could complain, I guess, about the price to portion size ratio but I guess that’s how it is everywhere these days.“
“I am unsure as to a review of Qi as a vegan. Nothing is marked vegan on the menu, although our waitress said there were a few things that could be made vegan. We were told the fried & steamed dumplings, scallion pancake, and tofu/rice dish were all vegan, but Im just not sure as our waitress seemed a bit confused at times would really be nice to mark items as vegan on the menu, especially for allergy sensitivities. I did think everything was delicious though and very creative.“
“An absolute vibe! The downtown Austin view is everything and the service is amazing. We snacked on the Tuna Wonton Tacos and they were so fresh and delicious. I love an old fashioned and it was made very well. This is a must to enjoy while in downtown Austin.“
“Recently moved into a brick and motar location from the food truck they've had for the past 10 years. Came on a Thursday at 2pm and the lunch rush was just starting to wind down. Service was super friendly, helpful, and seemed to really love the place. Food was amazing with the veggies tasting fresh and the meat wonderfully marinated and grilled. Not that long of a wait either. Each Bun bowl came with a side ramekin of spices in fish sauce that wasn't spicy and a bottle of spicy garlic chili sauce per table. Also love that the vegetarian options are full proper dishes and not just a filler substitute nor overpriced. (The diners on the side all got the Tofu Bun and were full of complements.)The place is cute and homey with wooden tables and Iron Chef playing on the TV inside and picnic benches with umbrellas outside. There is a small parking lot sized appropriately for the capacity of the restaurant. (If the lot is full, there's likely a wait for tables.)Would recommend!“
“Salty Sow sets a warm, lively scene with its classic soundtrack, featuring artists like Michael Jackson and Journey. The place perfectly combines comfort with a bit of nostalgia. The meal started strong with the dirty fries, a standout dish. The combination of crispy fries, rich gravy, and creamy cheese sauce made for a fantastic appetizer (as showcased in the photo I took). While the beef shoulder and chicken thighs were delicious, the dirty fries were the true highlight, leaving a lasting impression. The service was excellent -- attentive without being intrusive. However, there was a minor issue with gnats and flies buzzing around, which was a slight distraction from the otherwise cozy atmosphere. Overall, Salty Sow delivers a delightful dining experience with great food and a friendly vibe, making it well worth a visit, especially for those fries.“
“The tacos are incredible here. The tortillas are also made fresh each time you order. I had al pastor & barbacoa. Both were so delicious! The meats have really great flavor. I’ve only been here once but I’d definitely return.Found this spot on Yelp’s 2022 list of Top 100 Taco Spots in the USA. It was ranked 89!“
“Hands down this place is amazing. The service was great. The drinks were really good. I had the fishbowl pineapple and peach. My husband had a regular cup the strawberry one which tastes really good. While we waited they told us the food right next door was good which was Sam’s BBQ and omg they were 100% correct. We ordered the two meat with two sides which was the brisket, ribs, mac and cheese and yams. The gentlemen bought our drinks to us from next door and we went on the patio enjoying the good food, music and drinks. Thank you soooo much to both businesses we had an amazing time here. I immediately told my friends in NY to come here when they visit. Oh and we met Sam who was so sweet to us. His brother was really nice and funny ? had us laughing a lot. Thank you to everyone here we will be back.“
“I've never walked outside a restaurant smiling so much, the food was instagram worthy, my server Cameron was extremely helpful and attentive, all of my allergies were catered to. Even after eating you feel energetic and light because the food is so healthy. Cocktails are amazing I would definitely come back and bring friends !P.S. K was so funny when she dropped our cocktail off.P.P.S. Take lots of instagram pics and tag the Well. They will add you to there story.“
“It was a fun experience! They did have wine for those of you who don’t like beer! Wine was good. Their choices in Belgian beer was good and they are served in cool glasses. Lol. It was pricey, but that’s Austin, in my opinion. But it’s a neat little place to escape to for a minute. Location is great and there’s outdoor seating.“
“Great little spot to grab an after dinner dessert. Parking is in the back. The lady that helped us was really sweet. We tried lots of flavors before landing on cappuccinos + stracciatella/vanilla from Madagascar. The gelato was creamy and delicious.“
“The menu celebrates the rich culinary traditions of the South, with dishes like fried chicken and shrimp and grits stealing the show. Each bite is a comforting embrace of flavors, made even more delightful by the elegant surroundings and attentive service.“
“Stopped on my way to the airport for a few tasters. Electric jellyfish was all over austin so decided to swing by the brewery. Nice open space with outdoor seating. Staff was highly knowledgeable about the beers and helpful with suggestions. Didn't try any food but want to go back for that. See you next time!“
“Right in the center of East Austin, in a lively neighborhood for extra bar hopping. Great selection of beers, brewed freshly in house. Lots of seating inside / outside. Cozy & laidback environment. One of most popular places among locals, rightfully deserved to be so ??“
“I recently visited Fierce Whiskers Distillery and was thoroughly impressed by the experience. From the moment I walked in, the ambiance was inviting and cozy. The staff were incredibly knowledgeable and passionate about their craft, eagerly sharing insights into their distillation process and the story behind each spirit. I left feeling not only satisfied but also inspired to delve deeper into the world of artisanal distillation. I can't wait to visit again!“
“Show Me Pizza has been on my list of pizza in Austin to try for a while now. I finally stopped in during a day when I was avoiding the crowds of SXSW an I had a great experience. Love the small cozy vibe inside & was given a great rec for the spicy sausage & honey pizza. The pizza was ready VERY quickly (within 10 min) as the place wasn't super busy at the time. YUM!!! The pizza was a good size (between a personal & a medium) so my boyfriend & I were able to share as dinner. The crust was soft in the middle & properly charred on the outside. The Italian sausage was crispy & perfectly cooked. The light sauce was so fresh & pulled all the ingredients together! Also tried the tiramisu and it was homemade & very good (not like the plastic-y stuff you find at many restaurants). We will be back to try many more of their menu items! (I hear the cookies are baked fresh daily!)“
“Cute, cute. I wasn't sure about Cider when we started this visit but I can confidently give the Heritage cider 5 stars. The cheese charcuterie board is so delicious and generously portioned. One of the owners Lindsey was generous with her time and information regarding the ciders and their process. Overall a very nice place to kick back and visit.“
