“The food was absolutely delicious. I had Poke in Hawaii recently and this was as good as what I had. The choices are quite varied and the Ahi tuna, salmon, and fish was very tasty. All the toppings were fresh and quite a variety. The server was very helpful in answering questions and with recommendations. My bowl was fresh, sweet and crunchy. My brother had a spicier version and he enjoyed his selection. I am visiting and I hope to revisit it or find one near my home. We sat outside and enjoyed the spring day.“

“The brisket was ridiculously tender, seasoned just right, and you don’t even need sauce (but the sauce is still good). Portions are generous, the sides actually hit(that mac and cheese??). Not cheap, but 100% worth it.“

“Just completed a tour of the Central Texas Barbecue Scene. Visited Snow's BBQ-Lexington, Louie Mueller-Taylor, Kreus Market, Smitty's and Black's-Lockhart, The Salt Lick- Driftwood and Franklin's in Austin. It was great seeing the venues and the family history at these historic sites. I visited Franklin's in the past and felt it was the best brisket I had ever eaten in my life. I am a skeptic when it comes to famous barbecue joints. I must say that Franklin's BBQ was far superior to all of the restaurants I visited with no one even a close second. Aaron's attention to detail from the service, choice of briskets, the cook, the wrap, the holding and even the slicing of the final product is evident in every aspect of his trade. I was lucky enough to run into him at the restaurant and he happily talked BBQ with me. Franklin's may not have the long history of muti-generational BBQ in Central Texas, but he has figured it all out at a level that I have yet to see equaled by the best venues in the country. This is a bucket list restaurant for those who really enjoy BBQ. It is well worth the wait in line“

“After a not too long wait at prime time on a Sunday at 12pm, we were sat at the counter inside. I had the Cobb salad and what really set it apart was the Chicken. It looked like they used thighs (which is fine with me) and they had been marinated in something that made them taste really good. The other nice touch was the guajillo pepper ranch dressing. The only thing that wasn’t exceptional was the generic pre-shredded cheddar they used on the salad. I’d still order it again!“

“This was a little food truck in a spot with a few other food trucks. They had some really fun options for coffee and matchas. I also got the chocolate croissant, and it was to DIE FOR. While it's a tiny bit on the pricier side, it really was great coffee and food. And the seating was cute, with little shops and stands nearby to browse. And so many people bring their dogs, which added to the atmosphere!“

“If you haven't been to a taquieria with a bouncer you haven't lived. This place had some of the most authentic Mexican food I've had in 3 years! Their asada tacos were good but their pastor tacos is where it's at. If I was on death row, those tacos would be my last meal. “I first tried T-Loc’s in 2015, when I was in my final semester at TXST, and an apprentice to a business in ATX. My mentor brought me to T-Loc’s after a tough week and since, it’s become one of my favorites! I’d never had a Sonoran hotdog or anything like it and couldn’t believe I’d been missing out! The food is ALWAYS fresh, delicious and consistent. I love this place so much that I hired T-Loc’s to cater a private, professional event in October 2024 and I don’t have enough positive things to say. Miguel and his team are incredibly professional, timely and efficient. This was my first event to plan and execute all on my own and naturally, when last minute obstacles popped up, Miguel stepped in and he quite literally saved the day. I’m so grateful for this amazing team and all they did for me to ensure the event was a success, means the world. As long as I’m breathing, anytime I’m in ATX, a T-Loc’s trip is on the docket!“

“We stopped by Torchy’s Tacos for a casual meal together after being apart for a while, and it ended up being the perfect choice. Sometimes it's not just about the food—it's about the atmosphere, the people, and the memories you make while you're there. This place delivered on all of that.

The restaurant had a fun, welcoming vibe, and the seasonal decorations added a nice touch to the experience. Everything felt cheerful and relaxed, making it easy to settle in and enjoy the moment. A special shoutout to Jackie, who was incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our visit. Great customer service always makes a difference, and she definitely helped make our meal more enjoyable.

We tried a few different tacos, and everything was fresh, flavorful, and served quickly. The portions were satisfying, and there wasn't much left on the tray by the end of the meal. Between the tasty food, positive atmosphere, and friendly staff, it was exactly the kind of experience we were hoping for.
