“We love working and socializing here! The food is amazing (obviously with Vera Cruz and Dee Dee) and the drinks are superb. We had fun working with some of the bar tenders (I think Rachel was one of them) customizing some of the drinks. We like adding matcha to the horchata and banana cold foam to the matcha lattes! I really respect the fact that they kept so much of the natural surrounding area preserved and did such a nice job with the water areas in the center. This place is a must go!“

“This was a little food truck in a spot with a few other food trucks. They had some really fun options for coffee and matchas. I also got the chocolate croissant, and it was to DIE FOR. While it's a tiny bit on the pricier side, it really was great coffee and food. And the seating was cute, with little shops and stands nearby to browse. And so many people bring their dogs, which added to the atmosphere!“

“I've been coming here while working in Austin to just get out of the house and I really love it. The staff is always so kind, the coffee is good, pretty average priced, and I love their chocolate croissant. I got their sausage and cheddar sandwich once and I really didn't like it, personally. They gave me a croissant to make up for it, even though I was fully prepared to pay. Good quiet place to work or chat with a friend.“

“i went here for a birthday brunch and had a great time!

arrived at maybe 10:15AM on a Tuesday, so there was no wait at all. i know this place gets crazy busy on the weekends though! coming on a weekday was great— no line at all, not too loud either.

we had a very sweet server who we chatted up a bit! the food itself came out at a reasonable time. my boyfriend got the steak and eggs, which, while he enjoyed, thought was a bit much in terms of amount on his plate. which may be a positive to some people! he just wasn’t hungry enough for it all. i got the rise and shine sammy which i thought was delicious! i was surprised at how much ham they managed to fit into that sandwich. the potatoes on both of our meals were pleasantly crunchy!

i was able to ask for a birthday dessert for my boyfriend too, with the options being coconut cheesecake and banana pudding. i got him the banana pudding and he really liked it!

overall, i had a great time! the food itself was very tasty and reasonably priced. excellent atmosphere. will definitely be coming back!“

“The owners are so friendly and personable! They offer great recommendations and ask all the right questions to make sure your beverage is enjoyable! With fresh roasted beans- you really can't go wrong! This coffee truck is nestled behind Willie's joint, it's a little awkward to turn left out of the lot on a school morning but definitely worth the traffic!!! I definitely try to make a point to swing by (when I leave my house on time!!) to grab coffee before work. No personal recommendations other than try it all at least once!“

Skip the flavors, milks and syrups (although I’m sure they are great); and take the staff suggestion from the small but expertly curated menu of delicious coffees.
I know, it’s not cheap, but you’re worth it! Plus, anything of similar caliber would be double at some of Austin’s best coffee shops.

“This is a lovely spot with incredible food and very friendly service. The Chai is exceptional on a warm or cold evening. I usually order the tandoori tacos and find the spice level is reasonable. It’s nice to find a laid back dining experience like this, where locals come to relax at the end of the night.

I’ve seen a lot of families dining out here too, just enjoying the fresh air, good food, and lovely atmosphere.

The location is Austin at its finest. During the day, the food truck court hosts coffee and breakfast sandwiches, and at night, incredible Indian food at Samay Chai.

There’s a nearby parking garage at AMILI, and the Ladybird Lake trail is only a few steps away. You can grab dinner and walk the boardwalks towards Congress afterwards.

Evan took the time to explain his process to me and let me try his cold brew before deciding. I need to add my voice to the choir here and say this cold brew is amazing. You can really tell this is Evan's passion and it comes through in the cup. I am pretty bad about leaving reviews but sometimes a place is so good I have to rave about it.
