I finally made it to Nate's Baked Goods on Saturday. We had the dinner for 2 for $40 via takeout. Every single item was delish and there was enough for a second meal. The salads and dressings were even exceptional but my favorite part of the meal were the White Super Buns w/ French butter glaze!
I highly recommend these two dinner items:

Their biscuits and coffee were both amazing, and the service was very welcoming.
I can’t say enough good things about Nate’s and the people who work there. My friend and I had an uncomfortable situation occur and Susan, the owner, truly went above and beyond to make sure we felt safe, comfortable, and taken care of. The way she handled everything meant so much to us and really says a lot about the kind of person she is and the environment she’s created at Nate’s.

Nate's Baked Goods & Coffee is a hidden gem in downtown, tucked away in a back alley. This cozy coffee shop is a neighborhood favorite, known for its exceptionally friendly staff and warm atmosphere. Guests can enjoy delicious drinks, including the Maple Orchard special espresso, and a variety of tasty baked goods like the veggie frittata super bun sandwich. The gluten-free cinnamon rolls and flaky blueberry scones are particularly popular, and the blueberry white chocolate macadamia nut scone is addicting. The pastries are all homemade and very good. The inside is quaint and homey but super tiny, and they also have a small outside area. The service is quick and friendly. However, parking can be scarce and tricky. Overall, it provides a quaint experience reminiscent of what Austin used to feel like.
