“I would give this place 5 stars if it wasn't so freaken cold all the time. Drinks are great since I love summer moon unique flavor but this location is always so cold. I've lived in Kyle for 2 years and every single time I come here it's so cold. I don't enjoy being inside so I end up going to other coffee shops. Even during the winter, the heater is never on. Sometimes it's colder inside than outside when it's cold weather. It doesn't feel cozy or comfort to be in here.“

“Black Rock Coffee Bar is one of those places you’re almost tempted to keep to yourself.
It’s a quiet little hidden gem and easily one of my favorite places to meet a friend over coffee. The atmosphere is relaxed without trying too hard… comfortable enough to have a real conversation, get some work done, or just enjoy a cup without feeling rushed.
The coffee is consistently excellent, the staff is always friendly, and the whole place has that neighborhood coffee shop feel that keeps you coming back.
In a world full of loud, crowded coffee shops, Black Rock is a breath of fresh air. If you’re looking for a place to slow down for an hour, this is it. Just… don’t tell too many people. ☕😉“

“Really great coffee shop! I got an iced latte and it was really good/not too pricey! I was here this morning during the Hays City Market day and the line was out the door! The staff was working extremely hard to serve everyone despite many people complaining about having to wait for food and drinks. Great service overall! I will be back here for sure!“
