“We try to visit this coffeehouse anytime we get the chance when we are in Wimberley. They have outdoor seating from which you can set awhile and enjoy your drink of choice. We appreciate the efforts that the baristas put into a cup of joy. While I enjoy the occasional espresso drink, my preference is matcha or any teas or tea lattes. I was intrigued by their Cypress Creek Fog (I believe that is what it was called) which is a Sage tea latte and enjoyed one on my last visit. It was so good that it replaced Earl Grey latte as my favorite. I can't wait to get back to Wimberley so that I may have another.“

“Ok so I've loved wake the dead for years. It's a San Marcos staple. Atmosphere/environment (both inside and outside) are amazing. My go to place to work or study. Food? Great. Service? ALWAYS on point...My only thing is... The prices have gotten out. of. hand. I mean, I understand that inflation is happening, it's a thing. Everyone talks about how Starbucks is expensive, and I understand that prices at a local shop are probably gonna be a bit more because they have to support their own... And I'll still try and support wake the dead as much as I'm financially able to but it's getting to a point where I don't think I can afford it anymore. At all.The pic below .. that coffee was $8 and some change. For the SMALLEST cup. That's wiiiiild. Truly. .Idk, anyway, I love wake the dead but the prices have gotten a bit insane.“

“Lamppost isn't just another local gem; Recommended by locals, I decided to give it a try, and it quickly became my newest favorite spot. The caring atmosphere is evident from the moment you step inside. Not only are the baristas incredibly kind and attentive, but they also go the extra mile by thinking about our furry companions. With pet treats and water bowls readily available, even our four-legged friends feel at home. And for the little ones in tow, Lamppost offers activities to keep them entertained while you enjoy your coffee and become "dezombified." It's the perfect place for families to unwind and recharge. And let's talk about the coffee – the Lamba latte is an absolute must-try. Each sip is a burst of flavor that leaves you craving more. Highly recommended for anyone seeking quality coffee and genuine hospitality.“

“Went in for the first time earlier today, and I wish I could rate it ABOVE 5 stars! I got the Chai Tea Latte with oat milk, and it was one of the best I’ve ever had! It did NOT leave a chalky feeling/after taste like some chai does, and they have their ratios down! It was so yummy and hit the spot! Service was friendly and fast! Everyone had a smile on their face and I received my order quickly. The girl who took my order took the time to answer my questions about the non dairy options. The place it’s self is well kept and clean. I didn’t see anything gross or dirty and they keep their food behind glass and I didn’t see any flies! Great job y’all! I will be back!“

“Worth the wait! We went for lunch on a Sunday so naturally a busy time of day for this sort of concept. We're from out of town and our party of 4 added to the waitlist and told wait will be about 20-25 minutes. While waiting, we kept seeing folks get seated that arrived after we did. Apparently, they take reservations so heads up on that! I had the two egg biscuit and gravy dish. So much food and so good!!“
