“I found my iced latte! Tried the Cinnatoast latte and have forever been obsessed! Place has a couple of tables indoors perfect if you wfh, where music isn't too loud and need just enough space. Their staff has made a GREAT impression on me with this cute little coffee shop. Bravo!“

“Let me start off by saying that I stand completely corrected about what I wanted. While here for a conference, we asked our hotel clerk to recommend food choices, including donuts. She mentioned this place and said we should make it our business to go. We were impartial but ended up on Congress St looking for food when we spotted this location. I'm sooooooo glad we decided against NOT going. As soon as we walked in we knew we were in for a treat. The ambiance was totally welcoming. I love a good aesthetic and this was perfect. If you want to dine in, work, read a book, this is perfect. We were immediately greeted and the given recommendations on what we should get. I got the Key Lime and Strawberry shortcake. Everything was perfect...the filling wasn't too tart, the donut to filling ratio was perfect. The strawberry filling was definitely homemade. It was a donut I haven't had before. What's more is they have other locations, including in Dallas!!!! If you're ever in Austin, please stop by! I would absolutely recommend!“

“Store owner is so friendly and nice. I had to leave my dog outside of the store. She was mad at me for doing so and she barked the whole time I wàs in the store. The lady recognized it for what it was and packed me up a doggie donut for free.“

“These are easily the best donuts I've ever had. We just were driving through and I looked up donut places and this place popped up with good reviews so we decided to check it out. We got 3 different strawberry donuts and just as we were finishing they brought out a fresh tray of them so I had to get one more. The already made ones were delicious but the fresh one was absolutely phenomenal. It melted in your mouth and had the best flavor. We also got a chocolate one that was delicious. “Donuts so good they will turn a donut hater into a believer. The fact that I haven't written about Combo Donuts yet amazes me. The love affair I have with their glazed donut is truly the romance of the century. I will start off with the kolaches before I get into my ode to the glazed donut. The kolaches are actually spectacular. The jalapeño kolaches have whole jalapeño slices in them instead of just being in the sausage which I enjoy. I'd like to say I know a thing or two about kolaches being a born and raised texan, and these are my favorite in Austin by far. They really aren't trying to do too much, they're just a classic done EXCEPTIONALLY well. Honestly, that is Combo Donuts whole thing, classics done exceptionally well. The donuts aren't anything special or innovative. Not a maple bacon gold plated donut in sight. But, when I sit down on the patio with a cup of milk and eat my glazed combo donut it is truly me and that donut against the world. I seriously do not know what kind of sweet love they put into their donuts, but, I have been going for the past 2.5 years and have a religious experience every time. I love combo donuts. I love how you walk into combo and it's just the funniest little ambiance, truly a good ole ma and pa hole in the wall donut shop right on s lamar keeping this neighborhood alive and well. I have never been to combo and not seen the sweet lady who is always at the front. If combo ever tried to shut down I would chain myself to the building in protest.“

“I ordered a custom birthday cake for my daughter’s 4th birthday and it was incredibly delicious and beautiful! The vanilla filling was so good! Stephanie responded to my emails super quick and provided great feedback about the cake’s size, flavor and decorations. Highly recommend Violette’s Bakehouse.“

“I was craving mochi donuts so bad!! Tomas suggested this place so I immediately checked them out. Small local business is a plus! They are currently doing a pop up at Dia's Market on Friday and Saturday. You have the option of pre-ordering your order for pick up. Be sure to check their social media or website to find their location. I ordered the following six flavors to try: strawberry shine, mangonada, ube rainbow, vanilla with crunchy chili oil, birthday cake and classic chocolate. They were soft with a chewy texture...perfect. Flavored beautifully. She provided me the instructions for warming them up for the next day. They were still good the next day. Very fresh and made with quality ingredients. They were all good, but if I had to choose one flavor I really enjoyed the mangonada. Yum! This was definitely a good spot for mochi donuts. “The place looks very clean with a plain and simple decor. It got busy after I arrived in the later morning; the staff was friendly and they handled the customer volume very well. The restroom was out of order, so when I needed it, I was S.O.L. (pun intended). I came only for a donut; I bought one and a coffee. The donut was fair, but nothing to write home about. The coffee was not good. They have a few standard bench tables where you can sit down to eat. They also sell some hot foods like kolaches. There are also two large drink coolers with a fairly large selection of beverages, including milk.“

“Solid kolache and donuts joint, the family duo running the store is perfect!! And nice!!. They have everything, croissant ham egg and cheese/ sausage, sausage in a bun, tons of donut flavors. In the drinks and coffee section, you have every soda flavor, no fountain drinks, and the coffee is fresh. The key is in the dough and it has an excellent texture. My favorite is the jalapeño sausage. I devoured my meal, and you know when I devour, it must be good!! Enjoy!!“

“Amazing donuts! Amazing kola he's of regular and jumbo size. And there is this spinach pastry that is like a delicious hand held spinach quiches for breakfast. It was buttery, flakey and delicious. The staff is awesome too. The lady that owns it makes kids feel so special and welcomed and puts smiles and everyone's face. “Pretty damn solid. I think 4 donuts was $13. I think it's 3.25 per donut kinda steep for a donut but it was good. Or I may just be cheap idk. But i did enjoy them. I would go back to take someone for the first time that has never been. Cool experience though.“

“This place might look like many other donut shops around town, that's what I expected going in. But holy-cow, I was wrong. I'm genuinely blown away by the quality.The bakery items are LEGIT. Not dry and crumbly at all - they are crispy and chewy and light. Honestly VERY impressive. The "bread" parts of the donuts seem to have a bit of that light and fluffy Asian bakery element to them. Not quite soufflé cake kinda stuff, but it reminded me of that. It's perfect donut base material.I'll be coming back for the breakfast sandwiches too. “So glad to know there is a good donut shop so close to home. I always get donut holes and I like their small kolaches. However, I had their Apple Fritter today and it was the BEST Apple Fritter I've ever had. I split it with my husband. The customer service matches the quality of food.“

“This is a hole in the wall mastery kitchen. They have some of the best in town, I actually like them more than Krispy Kreme.The coffee and tea's are excellent! Sometimes I go back for just a coffee on the run and end up leaving with a box of fresh donuts. Heated if you like. And custom decorated for party's. “Hands down best Donut shop in North Austin . I've been going here since elementary school when they opened back in the mid 2000s! Almost 18 years later even though I've moved further north I always stop by once a month when I'm playing drums at my home church (Mount Sinai Baptist Church ) further down the road on Cameron RD ! Quality is amazing ! Not overly sweet but sweet enough and very soft and light ! Worth every calorie ! The owners / staff are lovely people and so kind ! She even sometimes throws a few extra donut holes in the box ! Give them a try if you're in the area !“

“Unremarkable experience. The menu listed cold brew, but upon receiving my drink, I was informed it was iced coffee. Clarifying with the barista, I was told both were identical, which is inaccurate as they differ in preparation and caffeine levels. The beverage resembled a watered-down iced coffee. I suspect they label it as cold brew to command a higher price for a less expensive offering.“

“Little Lucy's catered our Easter morning events and they were phenomenal! The food truck arrived early so they were ready to go right on time. They were easy to work with and maintained a friendly atmosphere for our guests. Also the donuts were delicious! Everyone was so excited to grab a treat. “I have never had a bad Donut at Shipley's! They are fresh and ohhhh so good. My grandkids must have a Shipley every Saturday come rain or shine. The folks working there are so nice and very helpful & patient to little ones while they try to decide which donut they must have for the day. Once they finish their donuts, the little ones and OK, me, have to stand at the windows and watch the ever faithful donut specialist make the most incredible donuts and kolaches. This is how sugar filled memories are made.“
