“The food was absolutely delicious. I had Poke in Hawaii recently and this was as good as what I had. The choices are quite varied and the Ahi tuna, salmon, and fish was very tasty. All the toppings were fresh and quite a variety. The server was very helpful in answering questions and with recommendations. My bowl was fresh, sweet and crunchy. My brother had a spicier version and he enjoyed his selection. I am visiting and I hope to revisit it or find one near my home. We sat outside and enjoyed the spring day.”

“Let’s be honest. Nobody goes to Raising Cane’s because they’re looking for a balanced meal. You go because you want chicken fingers, Cane’s sauce, and zero regrets… at least until tomorrow.

The chicken is always hot, crispy, and consistent, and they’re open late, which has rescued more than one of my questionable dinner decisions.

One thing I like is how you can sub anything. Don’t want the coleslaw? Swap it for extra fries. Don’t need the Texas toast? Trade it for another side. No weird upcharges or “the computer won’t let me.” They just make it happen.

Healthy? Absolutely not. Delicious? Every single time. 🍗😄”

“Exceptional omakase. One of my favorite restaurants in Austin. The chef is extremely personable and kind. Made me feel incredible comfortable throughout the whole experience. My girlfriend and I thoroughly enjoyed this experience. The food itself was absolutely delicious. Every single nigiri was exceptional, with wonderful rice texture. The fish itself was always excellent quality and the sauces lightly coated on each fish were excellently paired with the flavor profile of the fish itself. Drinks: I did the sake pairing which had two options, a standard pairing for $80 iirc, and prestige pairing for $100. I did the pairing for $100. It was outstanding. My friend opted to do the prestige wine pairing ($110); she thoroughly enjoyed that pairing, as well. After the 22 courses, we went back the bar/lounge area and opted to finish our night with a glass of or Born Gold sake. The service team was incredible throughout the meal. Their presence was very low-key, but they were informative and really kind. Will absolutely be returning in the future.”

“Just completed a tour of the Central Texas Barbecue Scene. Visited Snow's BBQ-Lexington, Louie Mueller-Taylor, Kreus Market, Smitty's and Black's-Lockhart, The Salt Lick- Driftwood and Franklin's in Austin. It was great seeing the venues and the family history at these historic sites. I visited Franklin's in the past and felt it was the best brisket I had ever eaten in my life. I am a skeptic when it comes to famous barbecue joints. I must say that Franklin's BBQ was far superior to all of the restaurants I visited with no one even a close second. Aaron's attention to detail from the service, choice of briskets, the cook, the wrap, the holding and even the slicing of the final product is evident in every aspect of his trade. I was lucky enough to run into him at the restaurant and he happily talked BBQ with me. Franklin's may not have the long history of muti-generational BBQ in Central Texas, but he has figured it all out at a level that I have yet to see equaled by the best venues in the country. This is a bucket list restaurant for those who really enjoy BBQ. It is well worth the wait in line”

“The brisket was ridiculously tender, seasoned just right, and you don’t even need sauce (but the sauce is still good). Portions are generous, the sides actually hit(that mac and cheese??). Not cheap, but 100% worth it.”

Fritto Mistow was shrimp with veggies battered and deep fried and served with yum yum tasting sauce. So delicious!
The Quail. So flavorful and savory. This was the star of all the dishes.
The peach ice cream was light and fruity. It almost tasted like sorbet.

The atmosphere is very Elegant Garden 🪷I would highly recommend dressing up for this beautiful restaurant. The esthetic is definitely photo worthy inside and outside. This is a beautiful spot to go with the girls or on a cute romantic date. I love they give you the option to serve all your food at once or serve it course style.

The service was phenomenal! The staff are highly attentive and give you thorough details on each dish on the menu.
