“I hardly write reviews but this place blew me away yesterday. I went in with my 3 & 2 year old to get smoothies and the staff was SOO kind. I wanted to order 1 smoothie for the kids and they split the smoothie evenly into two different cups for me. She joked that she made sure it was completely even so they wouldn’t fight if the other had more! Haha! It made me chuckle. It’s little things like that that made me feel welcomed & comfortable with my little children. They loved the little games on the table too while they enjoyed their smoothies! Thank you!”

“My family stumbled onto Mandola’s ItalianKitchen in Odessa Florida. What a delightful restaurant! From the moment we walked in, the customer service was excellent. We were greeted at the door by the manager, Chris. He explained how the restaurant ordering and seating worked. We ordered at the counter, where the young woman patiently took our order, clarifying along the way. The wine selection for the casual environment was impressive. We were given a table number and we found a seat. Immediately someone brought warm focaccia bread and Italian oil to dip it in. Our food arrived at our table surprisingly quick. The portions were huge (luckily we were provided to-go boxes when we were ready to leave) The servers were friendly and professional. The chefs were visible as they prepared the food. Our used dishes were removed promptly as we finished one course after another. Then Chris, the manager who first greeted us, came to our table to ensure that our experience had been not just satisfactory, but excellent. Which it was! We are putting Mandola’s Odessa on our favorite restaurant list for when we return to Tampa. Thank you!”

“I had the pork belly tacos, they were incredible. Finely chopped into small cubes, some had a meaty rich texture and some were perfectly crunchy. The bacon jam added a smoky BBQ flavor and a moistness bringing it all together.

Wife had the green chili Mac and Cheese with added crispy chicken. It was creamy and flavorful. Without the chicken it might have been disappointing due to the seemingly low amount of sausage, but with it the protein and crispy bits were perfectly balanced.

Kid had chicken tenders and to our surprise, they were hand breaded. A bit steep at $10, but made up for in quality.

The service was great once we got in, may drink refills, food in quick time, nice server. However, it seems they pull the host to help tidy up the front of the house and we stood for several minutes waiting for anyone to come to the host stand. Not a deal breaker, but you might be awkwardly standing for a few minutes.”

“We ate at the Anderson Lane restaurant last night. The food was absolutely excellent - fresh and delicious. The Brussels Sprout appetizer would make anyone want to eat their veggies! Portions are generous and prices very reasonable. The service was polite, prompt and attentive. My only complaint would be the large screen TV showing sports coverage -- that's distracting when one wants to wind down over a quiet meal. But overall, we're Mam fans!”

“The Market & Cafe at Plate Review

A new coffee shop in the neighborhood, opened as an extension of an already well-established restaurant in the same building. The design is unique and upscale, with chandeliers that give off a luxurious feel.

We ordered specialty coffee drinks—Matcha Pistachio and Rose Latte. As expected, they were on the sweeter side due to the syrups, but still well-balanced and enjoyable. There’s also a large selection of pastries, and a display fridge filled with beautifully presented cakes, including what seems to be their signature German Chocolate Cupcake.

One intriguing feature is the cooking station right at the bar, possibly for crepes or other made-to-order items. It would be interesting to see it in action.

The staff was incredibly friendly, and the overall atmosphere made for an enjoyable visit. We’ll definitely be back—both to explore more of the café and to try the restaurant that shares the space. Looking forward to it!”

“We went on a summer Sunday night at peak dinner hour to see the sunset over the hills (730PM) and were given absolutely excellent service from Alex. He was knowledgeable, fun spirited to talk to, and genuinely improved our experience. We'll go back again because of this and hope that its a day hes working”

“These girls have some really wonderful juices and smoothies available. I have had both the Dragon as well as the Acai Elixer, both are fantastic and vitalizing.

I was .18 cents short to pay tax and they spotted me to get my elixir.
