“Busy Saturday morning chatting. The four of us had a fairly short wait but were almost instantly greeted by our server, Erick. Drinks came quickly followed by our meals quite promptly. I ordered the #1 breakfast, two eggs medium, two sausage patties (a little overdone), country fries, halved cherry tomatoes, sourdough toast, whipped butter & jam. It was very delicious, I highly recommend it. It was a nice mix of couples & families enjoying their Saturday morning brunch.“

“Had not been here for a long time. It's not that I don't like the place but I live in north Austin got you about 25 or 30 miles from my house. After all these years they still have some of the best burgers in town. Stopped there on my way back from Marble Falls to have lunch. The bartender was very friendly and nice. Ended up getting a Poodie melt with fries. One of the best I've ever had! Just a few regulars in the place early in the afternoon but I'm sure it's jamming tonight with some live music and it's a great outdoor deck. Almost makes me want to move out to Spicewood so I can go there on a regular basis. One of my best friends loved the place and used to go out there all the time. He used to be friends with the original owner Poodie Locke. Don't miss it if you're out that way!“

“The food is consistent which is good. You always know what you’re going to get. The employees are nice. Most of our problems are in the bench seats where I notice many busy their knees on the benches, can’t get the seats out and sit on them without blocking others walking by, and they’re difficult to put back in. I’m glad though that they fix their gates quickly because it seems kids are always breaking them. Twice though I’ve noticed there being broken gates but no one had used other means to keep them closed. Toddlers were running into the street constantly on that day and with parents being unable to see around the playscape, it made it pretty scary. Heating is another issue. There’s heaters on cold days but it seems like they’re only in one spot. All of the parents were trying to find tables that had consistent heat so we all tried to find chairs at about three tables that had heat but didn’t want to make anyone uncomfortable. No chairs available inside and even if we went inside, we wouldn’t be able to see our kids outside. The trash cans are constantly overflowing with no employee able to break away to clean them out until the crowd has slowed down. Trash blowing in the wind, trash all over the ground, trash cans covered in ketchup. Needing more trash cans or someone designated to check constantly.New Edit: They really need to take some effort in cleaning the gross grime buildup on the tables and chairs. You can see hand oil, food oils, and dirt in layers on the chairs. It’s disgusting.“

We appreciate the ambiance, atmosphere & wonderful staff each time we've been there. The crafted cocktails are delicious as is every entree & dessert we've had! Most recently, the evening special of Chicken Picatta was the best I've ever had! My husband is stuck on their fish & chips. “My fiancée told me that he knew of a secret spot and he is right cause when we first pulled in I thought it was like a convenience store but I read the letters by the sealing and knew that it was a restaurant when we walked in there was a young lady at the register that gave us a warm welcome they have menus by the cash register in a lil slot thing and everything on the menu looked good but I got the Lee burger with curly fries and my fiancée also got the Lee burger with onion rings we sat in a booth it was pretty comfortable and a lil chilly in there I included pictures of the room where we sat in and in the other room where the cash register is there is only table tops well we waited about 20min for our food and this nice gentleman brought us our food and some ketchup and Tabasco everything was sooo good I ate all my fries and burger and I had the last bite of my fiancée’s burger that’s how good the food was I can’t wait to go back again and try more stuff on the menu Thank you!! All the burgers I have tried so far have been fantastic, though the Roosevelt might be my favourite. At first, I was going to try the food over at Oasis restaurant on Lake Travis, but the reviews on the food weren't very good. Many people in the comments recommended Oasis brewing instead. I'm so happy I came here because the food was delicious and it was less crowded. The service was excellent and it was very clean. I recommend the chicken club sandwich.“

It was my first visit and we had a group of 60 people coming for burgers close to closing time on a Monday night after a volleyball game. We called ahead just to give them a heads up and they said, yes, they could accommodate a group our size and no worries that it’s close to closing time.It’s one thing to SAY that, but it’s a whole other thing to SHOW it through the staff’s friendliness, patience and hospitality. We had a BUNCH of younger siblings ranging from 5-9 plus middle school girls and boys and the staff were smiling, kind, patient with spills and noise and a bit of craziness. I haven’t seen counter service like that in a LONG LONG time.I don’t live close to the Hill Country Galleria but I would be willing to make the drive with my family bc of how warm and friendly the staff was.Thank you, All Star Burger, for accommodating our huge group and serving us so well!!
