Poodies Hilltop Roadhouse was such a surprise for a great girls night out to chat & enjoy some fantastic live music! This is a very cool variety venue. They’ve got hoopdies next to Maseratis in the parking lot and inside you’ll find locals, tourists, and old fashioned celebrations happening all around.We’re going to Poodies! (Belt it out with some Texas twang! It’s so much fun!)Go, enjoy, let loose.
Great place for live music, and looking at some of the history of Poodie Locke. If you're lucky enough Willie might just stop in. Old school roadhouse bar that hasn't changed its style over the years. Mixed crowd from old to young.

Had not been here for a long time. It's not that I don't like the place but I live in north Austin got you about 25 or 30 miles from my house. After all these years they still have some of the best burgers in town. Stopped there on my way back from Marble Falls to have lunch. The bartender was very friendly and nice. Ended up getting a Poodie melt with fries. One of the best I've ever had! Just a few regulars in the place early in the afternoon but I'm sure it's jamming tonight...read full review
