“I have been going here for years to eat lunch for work. From the sopes to the daily specials I don't think they have a bad option. The owner is super nice and all his family! If your in the area and they are open this is 100% the best option to eat in a 10 mile radius. It's also one of my top 10 favorite places to eat in the Austin area!“
“Abigail, you’re doing an amazing job! You were wonderful tonight. Customer service and the food is outstanding. Keep it up ?. You were the only one running food and taking orders tonight. Hopefully they offer a pay raise to you or I’ll be back and help you find a job with the money you deserve!“
“First time, I thought the line was too long. I ask gentleman behind ne in line. He gave ten stars, I agree. Worth every penny. I even went back for more. Staff was great. The owner was pointed out to me, he was taking out the trash and helping the staff. Awesome place, I recommend.“
“I just moved in to town, and this was the first time I was able to eat out and I have zero regrets. The burger was so flavorful and not in a way where it’s just grease and seasonings. The cooks took care of this burger ?!! The staff is also super welcoming and actually interacted with us which in a burger spot is so welcoming in my opinion 10/10“
“This place is better than the competition next to it. Sandy's excels because they have tasty everything, above average customer service and reasonable pricing. Their burgers are a generous size for sure.I just wish they would clean their tables regularly so it's welcoming to eat there.“
“It was a fun experience! They did have wine for those of you who don’t like beer! Wine was good. Their choices in Belgian beer was good and they are served in cool glasses. Lol. It was pricey, but that’s Austin, in my opinion. But it’s a neat little place to escape to for a minute. Location is great and there’s outdoor seating.“
“Burgers ? onion rings, fries ? ? milk shakes, and drinks?always on POINT!!! Made to order, fresh veggies and PRICE can't be BEAT nowhere in TOWN! So if you want a HOMEMADE Burger and don't feel like cooking at home, this is "THE SPOT."“
“I heard about them on the news and I’m so happy they were shown on there. I’ve been trying to find my burger place for a long time. I tried the Texas Burger and loved it. Everything tasted fresh and prepared to high quality. The menu is big and I love how the prices are affordable and not over the top like other places. You do have to pay extra for the meal with fries and drink. The fries were exactly what I wanted. Fluffy slightly seasoned fries.? My partner got the Guacamole burger and he said it tasted fresh and flavorful. Was very good. He also got the Hawaiian burger and loved it.“
“Love these sliders and fries. For how small these sliders are they pack a punch, very juicy, full of various flavors, and very filling. If you eat lots of food, I recommend an order of three sliders and fries! Service is great, very friendly and chill. Great location as well, the food truck is next to a bar where they allow you to eat your sliders in their outside patio in the back in case the there's no room in-front of the food truck. Overall, very great spot for sliders in the ATX area!“
“I'm visiting from the Seattle area with my wife and son, and absolutely Loved the vibe, the food and the staff. Prutha, Omkar and Yordan were friendly, fast and showed they are a great team working together to service a busy location. Thank you for such a wonderful memory.Kid-friendliness: Great for kids“
“Wow, what a pleasant surprise!I have to admit, I didn't realise this was a vegan burger joint until I was leaving this review! Just a great burger full stop. But the burger wasn't the only highlight. The staff was incredibly friendly and just so nice, making the whole experience that much better. And don't even get me started on the cookies! They were wonderful. This place deserves all the love and praise. Whether you're vegan or not, you owe it to yourself to try their burgers and baked goods.“
“Great simple/traditional hamburgers/cheeseburgers at very reasonable prices. Fries and onion rings. Fried chicken. Now that I've discovered this place (that native Austinites knew about for years), I'm going to return. Better than any fast food burger.“
“Went here today with a friend for the first time. We were greeted by the staff members. They gave some history about the restaurant and how it was featured in the film "dazed and confused." Which was a comedy film. The veggie burger was absolutely delicious and they even gave us cute stickers. Even as we were leaving they said goodbye to us. The atmosphere was so cute and I loved the brick diner look and the music playing. I would go as far as to say that our experience was "Top Notch!"Vegetarian options: Veggie Burger“
“Cool place to hang on a weekend or usual evenings☺️Tried nice and clean, chicken salad sandwich and fries.Taste -> delicious (must try ? salad sandwich)Price -> inexpensive than fast food comboQuality -> freshOverall -> 5/5Atmosphere is great.“
“Step into Dirty Martin's Place and you'll swear you've entered a time machine set to "blast from the past." The decor screams retro chic louder than your grandma's polyester pantsuit, and the customer service? It's so classic, you'll half expect the staff to break out into a rendition of "Grease Lightning."Now, let's talk burgers. The OT Burger is like the reliable friend who's always there for you, simple yet oh-so-satisfying. It's like biting into a slice of nostalgia with each mouthful. And those buffalo wings? They're so good, they'll make you forget your manners faster than a Texas tornado. But wait, there's more! The house-made lemonade is like a sip of liquid sunshine, guaranteed to put a smile on your face faster than a dad joke at a family reunion. So, if you're tired of the hipster haunts and looking for a taste of the good ol' days, Dirty Martin's Place is where it's at. Just remember to leave your skinny jeans at home and bring your appetite for fun—and maybe a spare pair of stretchy pants. You'll thank me later.“
“We popped in about 10:25, but made it just in time for breakfast! Our order arrived less than fifteen minutes after ordering. I ordered two eggs, ham, and the hash browns and Texas toast. I did salt the eggs, but some folks may like that they can season to taste. The ham tasted great and the hash browns were a great consistency. For my S.O and I, the bill came to under twenty dollars before tip. He liked the Dan's Special, but does wish the gravy was a smidgen runnier. Heads up, it's a little tight turning into the parking lot.“
“This is a food truck, and parking can be rough but the food was good. The gentleman greeted me as I walked up and was super friendly. The food was ready quickly. I got the Gimme burger with okra. It's a hearty burger, very filling and very tasty. The okra was fried well and salted. Worth another trip.“
“Great! Halal American food options are tough to find so I'm so glad they opened up local to Manor, TX near Austin for those of us living out here. The food hits the spot and satisfies my cravings for mouth watering burgers without having to drive too far. im looking forward to seeing them grow as a business!“
“I love how well this place customizes my order and does it with a smile to boot. My picky order of double burger, no salt, protein style, lettuce, ketchup, mustard, spread and raw onions only, fries done well no salt and half strawberry half chocolate milkshake came out beautifully, as did my husband's double double animal style with animal style fries. In-n-out hits the spot and makes us BOTH very satisfied.“
“Tiny location. Plan to take it to go. Super friendly cashier. Packed with students on a Saturday evening as expected. Burgers and fries true to brand, just like they make in Cali.Vegetarian options: Burger with all veg and cheese inside. With bun or wrapped in lettuce “bun.” Good stuff.“
“Frazier's has been one of my staples for the last 2 years and I can't emphasize enough how much I've loved it. The atmosphere is perfect, the pricing for the quality of what you get is unbeatable, and service is great. I almost don't want to recommend this place to keep it under wraps for myself, but it absolutely deserves to be known as a 5-star establishment.“
“Best Birria Tacos in Austin. The tacos are beyond delicious?. The consume is nice and flavorful. And the horchata is bomb ?. 10/10 would recommend this place and I’m definitely coming back to grab a bite. I might try the Birria ramen next time!***sorry for the bite on the first taco in the photo, just had to try it***“
“Don’t have more than two Mai tais. Three will send you into a starry-eyed bliss that makes you feel invincible - which you are not. If you do venture into the 3rd mai tai realm, be sure to pair it with one of their incredible Loyal Forever burgers. It may be the rum speaking, but I’m pretty sure this is what everyone dreams a burger should be - drippy, sloppy, spicy, yum.No one knows what the culture shrine in the back of the building is about. We may never know.“
“Decent burger. The reviews really hype up the double bacon jam and the truffle fries but while they were good they weren't as life-changing as going to terry blacks. The strawberry shake was really sweet, I really liked it but others might find it a bit much.“
“I had a nice conversation with the owner/chef, who contacted me and clearly cares a great deal about his product and is interested in understanding criticism. Really if I could have given 3.5 stars I would have so I'm rounding up to 4 for his proactiveness in understand my concerns. The brisket burger is pretty good but I still think it needs some changes to make it great. Anyway props to Mo for reaching out!“
“I love Underdog. It’s a neighborhood gem and one of Austin’s best restaurants — both for its excellent wine list (Underdog is great for a stop-in just to have a glass or a bottle) with friends and for its excellent Korean food. On my last visit, I ate alone at the bar and thoroughly enjoyed mandu dumplings, Asian pear kimchi and a tremendous pork tonkstsu. Owner Richard guided me to a terrific bottle of wine to complement the set. It was a terrific evening. Great food / great wine / warm service / lovely atmosphere…Underdog has it all. I rebooked another meal in just THREE DAYS. Go.Wheelchair accessibility: From what I can tell, Underdog is wheelchair accessible“
“Had the amazing pleasure in trying them out while attending the Buda rodeo and fajita cookoff. OMG what amazing food. The pulled pork Cubano, not enough words to say how delicious this was and the street corn OMG!!! They are definitely a must try anytime you encounter them. Hope to see them again soon.“
“The wings here are definitely top notch! I got three different wings with 3 different sauces and they were all incredible. With a few different games going on, it was definitely a little too loud for me personally, but the quality of those wings really just carried the whole experience. Will be back for more.“
“Wonderful healthy creative food options. Service was fantastic, Hari did a great job on a birthday lunch - but even before he knew it was a birthday, his service was impeccable! I highly recommend the quinoa bowl with the crunchy chick peas. We will be back!“
“Food and staff were cool, cordial and breakfast racisvwere awesome. Our server WILL was very_ helpful, pleasant and friendly. We thoroughly enjoyed our food. I enjoyed NOPALES & SCRAMBLED EGGS on Corn Tortillas. My wife had scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, sliced Avocado ? warm biscuits. Strawberry Jam. Excellent potatoes. Fresh Lemonade, hot great tasting coffee. We will go again and again.“
“We were unsure where to park initially but thankfully the gracious heavens of universal cosmic happenstance unearthed a perfect parking spot right near the food truck and outdoor seating area. The empanadas and arepas were terrific and we were very proud of ourselves for speaking "en espanol" with sufficient verbosity to facilitate an engaging and lively ordering experience.“
“Hands down one of the best burgers I’ve ever had. I had the Cadillac Waygu Burger without bacon that normally comes on it, I’m Jewish. The wife had the Nashville Hot Chicken sandwich. It was also amazing. The Parmesan Truffle fries were delicious. Cameroon the server was incredible, he went above and beyond. We live in Lubbock and were traveling to Dallas for a doctors appointment tomorrow and made a 3 hour detour to come here to eat and it was worth it.“
“Got side tracked by SXSW traffic and grabbed a bite to eat here. People working here are so lovely and the interact with one another like a close knit , loving family. I loved seeing that. It’s definitely not vegetarian friendly so if you need veggie options, give your friend the extra meat meat patty from your burger and have the cheese and lettuce with a tomato on a bun because that’s about all the options you will have. Order a sweet iced tea and fries to round it out but you will need to find a better spot for protein options for sure. I hope they start serving more veggie friendly substitutions but i don’t think that’s going to happen, since the demand for classicn In N Out is so high.“
“Only reason food is getting 4 out of 5 is because to me the portions are getting smaller. However, that's a reflection of the entire food industry because of how terrible a president Joe Biden is. Besides that though, shake shack is one of my favorite places. It's always a guarantee to get freshly made food that tastes amazing and a great shake.“
“Not a big fan of the downtown yalla location (they can be hit or miss depending on how busy they are they'll mess up your order). This location, however, did a minor mess up on one order so far, and it was still great. The rest of the times were great as well. I've visited this location probably at least 5 times now and ive honestly enjoyed my burger everytime I come here. Everything here feels so fairly priced, and they even have vegetarian options here as well which is a nice addition.“
“This is the right way to serve gluten-free. All sides are gluten free & there is a gf bun option for burgers if you opt out of their flash fried chicken nuggies.... they are to die for!! So yum! Always served with a smile & quickly. So much love from a person with celiacs disease & even more love from a happy doggo.“
“I prefer the old fashion burger, the one you can taste the beef and Hill-Bert has it, along with onion rings. ?I'm happy they have the drive thru it's so convenient when I call in my order and drive by to pick up. I prefer Hill-Bert's hamburger taste over any chain store and, of course, the sweet potato fries, you won't find them in a chain store. BTW, Hill-Berts' is a neighborhood secret ? shhh, while I slurp my Hill-Bert's chocolate malt!“
“This place is really fun. We had the loaded tots with the burger, cheese, jalapenos. It was amazing. Even though it was an appetizer, that was a great representation of what the other food may taste like. Great place to go and hang out. Everyone is really nice and welcoming.“
“Got Philly cheese steak but requested without mayo or ketchup. Thought it might end up dry... Not at all. Dude took his time cheffing this one up, it's the bomb. Cost quite a bit, but that comes with the cost of the space when you're in downtown 6th.“
“We love going to Phil's! Nearly every time my family comes to town, we go to Phil's for lunch. It's dog-friendly with plenty of picnic tables outside (there is also indoor seating). I always get a veggie burger with cheese and mushrooms, and mixed fries (they put the regular fries and sweet potato fries in the same basket, so they do touch but are not all mixed up). It's never disappointed! My dad loves the violet crown burger and is always excited to go to Phil's and get it. You order at a counter inside, then go get your food from the counter when they call out your order is ready. Wait is not too long, especially with the nice atmosphere and playground area for kids to play. My dog loves going to Phil's too because she can sit with us while we eat, and sometimes gets petted by kids (which she loves). Staff are friendly and usually offer water for my dog too.Vegetarian options: They have a great veggie burger party that you can sub in for any burger.Parking: Always plenty of parking, around side and back.“
“Super fresh food, can’t find anything like this place elsewhere. 12/10 service & it’s a nice place to meet friends or gather family!Dietary restrictions: They have gluten free, impossible burgers, quinoa black bean burgers made in house !!Kid-friendliness: Super kid-friendly, aside from separate bar area“
“Great smoked meat, hot off the griddle tortillas, and good guacamole. What more could you ask for? I went here twice in 3 days. the first time I got the smoked brisket plate. The brisket was wonderfully smoky. The second time I got the smoked goat and it was tender and delicious. The tortillas are so fresh that they're still puffy when they bring them to the table. If you don't live nearby, take a drive and get some great food at Antiguo!“
“After driving past this little joint for years, we finally dropped in for "burgers and boozes." It's got a friendly dive bar feel--like they all know each other but you're still welcome. We sat at the bar for some boozes, he ordered a buffalo burger and I went for the bbq bacon cheeseburger. We hung out, chatted, watched a terrible old monster movie, and petted the bar cat until our food came. My burger was unusually good. He just said his was "fine." One beer, two g&t, and two burgers somehow cost us $40. Shoulda specified well drinks and gone for the 2fer chili dogs! I'd go back.“
“Maybe we need to eat at more local Austin burger joints, but this was literally top three burgers of all time for me and hubs. We couldn’t stop saying, “Mmmm” after each bite. It was so yummy. Fries were good, too but nothing super special. The ice cream shop was also delightful. Recommend sharing a burger so you can indulge in some ice cream after. Wish we lived nearby so we could visit again soon!“
“Roberto.I came in with only a card to get my #25 double meat. The card reader was down. I was still served upon faith. They took my payment over the phone the next day. I could have gone to any another sandwich shop close by. But he insisted it was no problem. Respect y Cora.“
“I’m gonna need them to stay open forever! It’s no secret the food in Manor is on the struggle bus. But the folks at Chuckwagon NEVER disappoint. Everything is made to order. So it’s always fresh. The burgers are cooked well and seasoned well. The fried shrimp are seasoned and fried just right. And the chicken sandwich is delicious! If you want consistently good food. Give them a chance!“
“Burgers, great. Fries, French or maybe they’re American I don’t know, that’s beside the point they’re fantastic. Everything about this food truck is outstanding. Also amazing customer service from BK and Alex.- Brandon(I don’t have my own google account)“
“The proprietortess is so very nice and funny! She asks about my day, inquires after my hobbies I mention and is always eager to joke around. The sugar donuts are awesome and the large sausage and cheese kolaches are recommend! Ut the best thing on the menu that I have tried to date is the croissant sandwich. YUM!I like that the establishment is open early and closes early as I have never been in a crush of people but, even so, when I go they're almost always at the end of their kolaches.Highly recommend!“
“Popped in for lunch with my wife since it’s been on our list of places to try and we ordered the cheeseburgers to start off and they where amazing full of flavor and juicy fresh toppings we can’t wait to go back and try the rest of the menu.“
“Such a hidden gem. Quesobirria is actually jaw dropping. It is so warm and so gooey and just overall delicious. Please check this place out!!! The owners and the atmosphere is so warm and welcoming.-You have to go to this place!! The food and the tacos and the birria are so delicious. Everyone is very friendly and very good people.“
