“I'm visiting from the Seattle area with my wife and son, and absolutely Loved the vibe, the food and the staff. Prutha, Omkar and Yordan were friendly, fast and showed they are a great team working together to service a busy location. Thank you for such a wonderful memory.Kid-friendliness: Great for kids“
“Wow, what a pleasant surprise!I have to admit, I didn't realise this was a vegan burger joint until I was leaving this review! Just a great burger full stop. But the burger wasn't the only highlight. The staff was incredibly friendly and just so nice, making the whole experience that much better. And don't even get me started on the cookies! They were wonderful. This place deserves all the love and praise. Whether you're vegan or not, you owe it to yourself to try their burgers and baked goods.“
“I had the pleasure of dining at Lapachi, a fantastic restaurant offering delicious halal Mediterranean cuisine. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by the incredibly friendly and funny owner, also known as Lapachi. Not only did I enjoy the mouthwatering food, but I also cherished the engaging conversations we shared. Lapachi’s warmth and hospitality made me feel incredibly welcome throughout my visit. The ambiance was cozy, the service impeccable, and the food, simply divine. I highly recommend Lapachi to anyone looking for a delightful dining experience filled with great food and even better company. Five stars all around!“
“Went here today with a friend for the first time. We were greeted by the staff members. They gave some history about the restaurant and how it was featured in the film "dazed and confused." Which was a comedy film. The veggie burger was absolutely delicious and they even gave us cute stickers. Even as we were leaving they said goodbye to us. The atmosphere was so cute and I loved the brick diner look and the music playing. I would go as far as to say that our experience was "Top Notch!"Vegetarian options: Veggie Burger“
“Drove by this place while working next door at Tesla and came back to get myself some dinner, what can I say! First time ever tasting a Chicago style hot dog and I’m hooked! The flavors all together are something completely different from your ordinary hot dog! Will definitely be coming back for more soon!“
“Papi's is probably the best sandwich in Austin right now. They used to be down the street and they moved into one of the best food truck parks in town... great tacos, great BBQ, and now great deli sandwiches. Just look at the photo of my sandwich if you want to be convinced.“
“It's a good affordable place. Kinda takes you back to the 1950s or early 60s by the uniforms they wear. Wasn't happy about them just taking off the lettuce from my burger since I'm highly allergic to lettuce. Overall, the food was good. For those people who love beacon in their burgers, just know they don't serve beacon.“
“Tiny location. Plan to take it to go. Super friendly cashier. Packed with students on a Saturday evening as expected. Burgers and fries true to brand, just like they make in Cali.Vegetarian options: Burger with all veg and cheese inside. With bun or wrapped in lettuce “bun.” Good stuff.“
“Akuashi picadillo on flour with habanero sauce.Something in the frigkin grease of this thing just stokes the fire in my belly. Akin to a pot roast type of vibe (what the heck?)A light but sharp habanero sauce balances the taste profile perfectly. An every visit kind of taco for me.Look, you can see the greasy gristle glisten9.5/10Cheers“
“This is a food truck, and parking can be rough but the food was good. The gentleman greeted me as I walked up and was super friendly. The food was ready quickly. I got the Gimme burger with okra. It's a hearty burger, very filling and very tasty. The okra was fried well and salted. Worth another trip.“
“Unremarkable experience. The menu listed cold brew, but upon receiving my drink, I was informed it was iced coffee. Clarifying with the barista, I was told both were identical, which is inaccurate as they differ in preparation and caffeine levels. The beverage resembled a watered-down iced coffee. I suspect they label it as cold brew to command a higher price for a less expensive offering.“
“The best tacos I've ever eaten. My husband and I have been looking for tacos al pastor all over Austin but until today when we visited La casita del pastor we found the best tacos. I highly recommend it because the flavor is very good and the attention that Mr. Bryan provides is excellent.“
“Came here after work and even in the rain, late at night, they were still out there working hard and served me one of the best pies I've ever had. The people working here are also very nice and I'll definitely be coming back for more .“
“Got side tracked by SXSW traffic and grabbed a bite to eat here. People working here are so lovely and the interact with one another like a close knit , loving family. I loved seeing that. It’s definitely not vegetarian friendly so if you need veggie options, give your friend the extra meat meat patty from your burger and have the cheese and lettuce with a tomato on a bun because that’s about all the options you will have. Order a sweet iced tea and fries to round it out but you will need to find a better spot for protein options for sure. I hope they start serving more veggie friendly substitutions but i don’t think that’s going to happen, since the demand for classicn In N Out is so high.“
“So first off, the atmosphere is very rustic and cozy. Maybe a little too cozy, since there isn’t a whole lot of room to sit inside or out. However it’s an open kitchen so you can see the whole cooking process. The burger was pretty good. It’s juicy, rich, and it’s balanced well with the pickles and jalapeño. It’s pretty messy so keep it in the wrapper it comes in.Their version of loaded fries are pretty fire. The sauce and jalapeños go perfectly with the salty and crispy fries.Overall it’s a good burger and fry, but a bit on the expensive side. But that’s what you get for a wagyu burger (the certificate’s in the display case so you can see!)“
“My fiance picked up the food so I'm not sure how the service was. He mentioned that the atmosphere was very family friendly since this food truck is located in the Way South food Park. The food itself was surprisingly delicious. I got the chicken kebab plate and the meat was very juicy and tender with a good amount of flavor. The rice was unremarkable but not disappointing. The garlic sauce tasted literally like minced garlic and salt, not a fan of that. The green sauce/chutney was my favorite part of the whole dish. I also got a side of hummus which was a bit bland. A pinch of salt at home helped it taste better. I was also give 2 pita wraps still in the bag ? not sure why they were in the bag still but it went great with the hummus when the pita is warm.“
“Warning ⚠️ Taco Deli serves craving food! The flavors are outstanding with a kick of spiciness. The staff at the Congress Avenue location are always friendly and welcoming. It is very expensive for tacos, but once again it is food that you will crave...I deducted a star for having a large lettuce piece in our guacamole, the food usually takes 15 - 20 minutes and the dining area has limited seating with very small standing room to wait on take-out.“
“This is the right way to serve gluten-free. All sides are gluten free & there is a gf bun option for burgers if you opt out of their flash fried chicken nuggies.... they are to die for!! So yum! Always served with a smile & quickly. So much love from a person with celiacs disease & even more love from a happy doggo.“
“I prefer the old fashion burger, the one you can taste the beef and Hill-Bert has it, along with onion rings. ?I'm happy they have the drive thru it's so convenient when I call in my order and drive by to pick up. I prefer Hill-Bert's hamburger taste over any chain store and, of course, the sweet potato fries, you won't find them in a chain store. BTW, Hill-Berts' is a neighborhood secret ? shhh, while I slurp my Hill-Bert's chocolate malt!“
“The food here was great, I love how attentive the service is here and how kind they are as well! Debbie, the manager, was great as well! She has amazing customer service! The rest of the staff runs orders well and know what they are doing! Best Popeyes I’ve ever been to, will most definitely be coming back to this location!“
“Absolutely phenomenal food. Adults loved it, kids loved it (and ate way more than anticipated!). Fair prices. Fast service. We will absolutely be back.Parking: Has their own parking lotKid-friendliness: Lots of kid options and an open play space“
“friendliness of Staff clean bathroom clean it establishment quick and Speedy service in a daytime I haven't dying in at night so I will not know but yeah the speediness of services Top Notch everything's great as it is keep up the good work“
“Completely blackout drunk after going to two different sets at the comedy Mothership for Joe Rogan and Friends and to see Pauly Shore I barely remember the comedy show at all don't remember how I got home but I sure as hell remember the chicken over frys I had last night from this place absolutely amazing. Going to be hard to find better food at 2:30 in the morning“
“Pretty great quesadilla location in South Austin! Got to try their asada and chicharrón prensado quesadillas my first visit and they were delicious! The chicharrón was so good. For $10 a platter, it’s definitely worth a visit. Each platter came with rice and beans and a side salad. Can’t wait to revisit to try their other quesadillas!“
“Just moved from Philly, and I can confirm the subs here are like the ones back home. Service was friendly and they were very fast considering how busy they were when I was there. Extra points for being open when everyone else was closed during a winter storm.“
“The three staff that were HUSTLING on Saturday afternoon of February 24th deserve a raise, bonus, or both. Idk if it was a mad rush or random busy time, but the team was assembling orders like a maxed out Sponge Bob Krabby Patty game in real life. Bing bang boom here’s a hot, juicy burger for you!The man manning the register and hamburger assembly line was incredibly attentive to guests and profusely apologized for delays in receiving your food, but to be honest they were truly doing their best and I was impressed by how well and efficiently they operated. Kudos to them!“
“The burger was really good the fries are just okay the oatmeal chocolate chip cookie is huge. I would say this is a much better value than most fast food restaurants. I will definitely go back but I don't think this would ever be my first choice for fast food because of the fries.“
“You know the food's going to be good when all the local construction workers walk in. This place has some good homemade food. Their specialty is the pollo asado. It is grilling right in front of you as you eat your meal, inside the storeThe half chicken meal comes with rice, beans, tortillas and salsa , and it is enough for one very hungry person or even enough to split between two. The beans have chorizo and sausage in them. They also offer other tacos and plates, from carnitas, to barbacoa to breakfast items. The store is located inside of the meat market. You have to figure out what you want and then pay at the main meat market counter. After that, take your receipt to the food counter and they will hand you your meal. The kitchen staff is friendly, don't forget to pay for your beverage as well.Come check them out, very economical and very very tasty. Enjoy y'all!“
“I miss so much being able to try something of everything that is in this wonderful food truck, the arepa queen Pepiada with plantains and beans of the best!, there are no empanadas that compare either, always fresh handmade, the tequeños with the different sauces too It is something you cannot miss if you visit this place, but above all what I miss most is being able to talk with my friend Carmen the owner! His attention is unsurpassed and also tireless, even when he has many caterings to do, he always has his best attitude to give. One day I will eat there again and I will be able to relive so many good moments.“
“Food is absolutely immaculate! This is my first bbq experience in Texas and it did not disappoint! We got beef ribs, brisket, pork kebab, sausage, Mac & cheese, potato salad and peach cobbler! I loved absolutely everything, but my favorite had to be the brisket and beef rib! It was soooo tender and with their bbq sauce just melted in your mouth!!! I've never had Terry's or Franklin's so I can't compared to how they make it but we came here around 2 and they had everything vs when we tried to go to the other bbq spots they had already ran out of everything so we opted to not go. I would definitely be back!!“
“Coming from San Antonio, it's oddly hard to find some AMAZING Carne Asada tacos, but this place is close!!!! The meat was tender, flavorful, and delicious. I like the grilled onions and cilantro... The Al Pastor Taco was alright, not quite enough flavor or pineapple. Over all really great, just needs some tweaks like: queso fresco and some sides!!!!“
“Their chicken is usually juicy and smokey and the whole bird meal is a solid last minute dinner option. Rice is meh, beans usually hit and at only 8oz, you may want to order additional or queso and chips. Other locations' queso are often watery and bland, but this location is the most consistent at doing it right.Flautas always slap and I enjoy the Papa Asada when I'm particularly hungry. Gotta watch the chicken since this place breaks down their own birds and a little bone or thick cartilage makes it to the plate occasionally. Reminds me of childhood home-cooked meals, it happens.Live equidistant to 3 Pollo Rico's and this one is my go-to!“
“For the past 25 years, I've been a devoted fan of the Chicken Bowl for my lunchtime enjoyment. This establishment holds the distinction of being a family-owned business that consistently serves delectable food. Notably, they are willing to accommodate individual preferences by offering customized dishes. Their breakfast tacos are truly outstanding, capturing the essence of a delicious morning meal. The Chicken Bowl itself presents a delightful combination of vegetables such as broccoli, cabbage, carrots, and savory dark chicken. It is highly recommended to enhance this dish with a touch of teriyaki sauce, elevating its flavors to new heights. If you happen to be in the downtown area around Lavaca 17th St., I enthusiastically endorse trying the Chicken Bowls for a truly satisfying dining experience.Vegetarian options: You have to ask to customize a dish“
“Pretty good taco! They have a cauliflower option for vegetarian and instead of spiced mayo if you want it to be vegan they have a sriracha tofu sauce. This taco was good! The sauces were spicy and delicious too. Friendly service and huge space since it was the airport location. I appreciate that even the fries could be made vegan.“
“TacoDeli is amazing if you want tacos with fresh ingredients and scrumptious flavors. They have unique twists while still keeping that traditional flavor. As a meat eater, The vegetarian and vegan options are yummy on their own and not just replacements.I definitely recommend a few tacos and Queso to share!Vegetarian options: The freakin Vegan is awesome!“
“Everybody in Texas compares in and out to Whataburger however, the comparison should be in and out to P Terry's. P. Terry's is delicious. They have all the same options and better fries than In-N-Out. love their lemonade as well as their protein style burgers. Perfect for people who are watching their carbs as well as the rest of your family who may not be. 10 out of 10 recommend“
“Coming from Vietnamese background, I can assure you this spot is definitely top tier when it comes to authentic Vietnamese taste. Food came out maybe 5-10 mins and let me tell you I was right back in my grandmas kitchen eating her banh mi. Service was swift and the worker is very sweet and friendly.“
“I love P. Terry's! I have been a huge fan for quite a few years now. Just ordered a couple of hours from here for the drive home and realized my two chocolate chip cookies were not in my bag :( ? I'm so sad. My burger, fries, and shake were amazing, though.“
“¿is this really "fast food" quality?i certainly got it quickly enough... and the fries suggest it is (even tho they are great)... but the chicken itself (and the sauce as well) are of a quality that certainly far exceeds normal fast food quality.“
“We ordered a spicy wet burger, a wet burger, a traditional Turkish kebab wrap, a traditional Turkish kebab plate, and homemade fries with special ground beef. We ordered online using Doordash and the order was ready within 2 minutes of the pickup time. The food was hot and fresh, packaged in plastic takeout containers. The fries were surprisingly delicious, fried to perfection. There were fries included with every entree. The wet burgers were not too soaked, still held their shape, and were more delicious than I expected. The kebab plate and kebab wrap (both were wrapped in a humongous wheat tortilla) were drier than the wet burgers. Next time, I would pass on the kebab and go for a burger again.“
“My husband went to the Research location, but it's not up on Google yet. This was my first time trying the food, my husband has been to the location downtown. The chicken is SO GOOD. The fries, oh my God. I can't even. I have never been this excited about french fries. We found a new place for dinner!“
“My wife was in there alone, and a man came in asking for money, yelling, and cursing. She started to feel uneasy. A female employee asked him to leave very quickly. The situation was handled within moments. Employee then apologized to customers and made sure they were okay. Thank you to that lady.“
“If you are Downtown and in the mood for a bacon cheeseburger, chicken sandwich, fries or ice cream shake. This is the place to do it... Ohh yeah they have fresh cookies and nut breads too! Breakfast in the morning also!Parking: Park on either side of the store.Kid-friendliness: Kids love P.Terry's“
“Great straightforward Mexican style charbroiled chicken. If you're from the west coast, think of this as El Pollo Loco leveled up 4X. Great prices. We had whole charcoal chicken with charo beans, Spanish rice and tortillas. The creamy, spicy avocado/tomatillo style salsa is the co-star of the show. So much food. Absolute regular go to.“
“Love the service and food! Especially the fries. But frustrated I can't get answer to question about menu. I have been to several locations and no one can answer the question! The board say your chicken breasts are GROUND IN THE STORE. Cashier said it is not done in store! Second question, why would you GRIND A CHICKEN BREAST???? Love to get an answer!“
“Best chicken I've had in a long time. Ordered their half chicken and I knew I was in for a treat when the order was presented to me. Half chicken with a whole onion so sweet and flavorful you'll want to come back just for the onion!Chicken was properly seasoned and cooked well. I tried to get every little piece I could off of the meal. Came with beans and rice as well, they were both good! I will be recommending this place to my colleagues and family. Thank you for the great meal.“
“Tried buffalo chicken sandwich on regular Parmesan breadTaste -> yum but HOTTTquality -> goodPrice -> inexpensive for lunch/brunchI think it had steak in it…..OMFG how did I miss that while ordering ??Overall-> it was good 5/5“
“P. Terry's blows away the competition. Everything was hot and fresh. The burger and fries were among the best I've ever had. I ordered sweet tea, which they didn't have. However, the young lady who took my order suggested an Arnold Palmer, which was made to perfection. The food and service are top-notch and at a price that you can't beat. My new favorite fast food place!“
“Abigail, you’re doing an amazing job! You were wonderful tonight. Customer service and the food is outstanding. Keep it up ?. You were the only one running food and taking orders tonight. Hopefully they offer a pay raise to you or I’ll be back and help you find a job with the money you deserve!“
