great food banana bread made fresh daily and cookies off the chain! I thought oh just another burger place but I was wrong very good prices food was amazing all VERY FRESH no heat lamps no microwaved food 😋 😜

P. Terry's Burger Stand is consistently delicious and fresh, offering the best bang for your buck. The fries are perfectly salty and crispy, and the cheeseburger, crispy chicken bits, banana bread, and milkshake are all solid. The veggie burger is a favorite—house made and authentic, not like Impossible meat, and very satisfying. However, the location is mostly for drive-through with only outdoor seating, so it is best to grab food to take elsewhere. While the food is good, the oil of the fries can be hard on the stomach, and the chicken burger is not like other Chick-fil-A ones and is not recommended. A recurring issue is that orders are often wrong, such as getting one cheeseburger instead of two, or missing lettuce. This is frustrating for an Austin institution. Still, the service is great, and a delicious cheeseburger with fresh veggies at 7 in the morning hits the spot.
