Was very rude. Just because I don’t speak Spanish doesn’t give somebody the right to treat me like I’m not important. The lady right after me who spoke Spanish got excellent treatment, and they answered her questions with a smile. She walked off in the middle of
Me asking her about my meal and just ignored me. If you don’t speak Spanish, be ready to be treated as an inconvenience!
Excellent 1/2 chicken with excellent onion, usual sides. I missed living in the neighborhood near the #2 North Lamar location. I stopped by at a slow time of day, polite staff and great food. Took to go, but the place was clean and ready for business later on in the day. Grabbed a couple neighborhood newspapers as I left.

El Pollo Rico #6 offers incredibly good chicken, although some dishes like beans and rice lacked flavor. The staff language barrier can be an issue. Despite this, the food is fresh, flavorful, and underrated, deserving more business. The al pastor taco plate is super tasty, with just the right amount of spicy and sweet, especially when paired with lime and green sauce. The flan is also delicious.
