“This barbecue place is OK. It's not my favorite in town but I have friends who prefer this barbecue. The spice level here is a bit low so if you are hot spice adverse, this may work for you. The ribs here are not quite tender enough for me. I think this is more like gas station food that is convenient while traveling than a place you would go specifically for the food, but it is OK, just not great in my opinion. The atmosphere feelt a bit hectic on my last visit, the counter staff was stressed and ticket times were a bit long. But hey, at least this place has indoor toilets and clean facilities, because that's more than the barbecue food truck option down the street.“
“The food was solid Sonic fare. But I'm giving this a 5 star because they were on it. We placed an order for 13 people with customizations. It was nuts and complex and we expected it to be screwed up. But nope! They got it perfect. I was shocked.“
“Busy Saturday morning chatting. The four of us had a fairly short wait but were almost instantly greeted by our server, Erick. Drinks came quickly followed by our meals quite promptly. I ordered the #1 breakfast, two eggs medium, two sausage patties (a little overdone), country fries, halved cherry tomatoes, sourdough toast, whipped butter & jam. It was very delicious, I highly recommend it. It was a nice mix of couples & families enjoying their Saturday morning brunch.“
“I and my wife have had 2 meals at this restaurant. Not only was service good and quick the food was delicious. I do not usually think Austin food is worth remembering, but I hope this small restaurant gets the support it deserves. Breakfast is my favorite meal and burgers are the tip of the iceberg. Our sides were unique and on point. We definitely will return.“
“Very unique where you serve yourself from the tap wall (both beer & cocktails). I was able to sample several with the different size glasses availableKid-friendliness: They have an entire play area for little kids while the adults can sit, watch them, get together with new parents & have a beer without having to hire a babysitter.Wheelchair accessibility: All on 1 floor, chairs are movable.“
“Very nice staff, generous portions, fair prices, hot and freshly prepared. We had the pulled pork sandwich which was tender and with good flavor, just a little greasy. The BLT was excellent and the leftovers reheated well in a skillet at home. The Mac n cheese with jalapeños was delicious and yet another item to take home. The seasoned fries weren’t anything special.“
“Clean atmosphere and the food was honestly bomb! I got the Bbq chicken sandwich and would rate it 8.9 out of 10. Flavorful, right ratio of chicken to breading and the pickles were amazing. Staff were so friendly and polite! Will definitely be coming back :)“
“Had not been here for a long time. It's not that I don't like the place but I live in north Austin got you about 25 or 30 miles from my house. After all these years they still have some of the best burgers in town. Stopped there on my way back from Marble Falls to have lunch. The bartender was very friendly and nice. Ended up getting a Poodie melt with fries. One of the best I've ever had! Just a few regulars in the place early in the afternoon but I'm sure it's jamming tonight with some live music and it's a great outdoor deck. Almost makes me want to move out to Spicewood so I can go there on a regular basis. One of my best friends loved the place and used to go out there all the time. He used to be friends with the original owner Poodie Locke. Don't miss it if you're out that way!“
“My husband & I have enjoyed The Canyon Grille, Rough Hollow, on several occasions when visiting family living nearby. We appreciate the ambiance, atmosphere & wonderful staff each time we've been there. The crafted cocktails are delicious as is every entree & dessert we've had! Most recently, the evening special of Chicken Picatta was the best I've ever had! My husband is stuck on their fish & chips. Dessert I believe was called a chocolate turtle pie served with strawberries, was ample to split & something to return for! We'll be back next time we visit!!!“
“This is a no-frills neighborhood spot. The food is great value considering the quality and price point. Everything tastes like it should and as advertised. The staff is friendly; the space is open and clean. I enjoy the aesthetic and atmosphere (rare for a fast food place) and plan to revisit regularly.“
“My fiancée told me that he knew of a secret spot and he is right cause when we first pulled in I thought it was like a convenience store but I read the letters by the sealing and knew that it was a restaurant when we walked in there was a young lady at the register that gave us a warm welcome they have menus by the cash register in a lil slot thing and everything on the menu looked good but I got the Lee burger with curly fries and my fiancée also got the Lee burger with onion rings we sat in a booth it was pretty comfortable and a lil chilly in there I included pictures of the room where we sat in and in the other room where the cash register is there is only table tops well we waited about 20min for our food and this nice gentleman brought us our food and some ketchup and Tabasco everything was sooo good I ate all my fries and burger and I had the last bite of my fiancée’s burger that’s how good the food was I can’t wait to go back again and try more stuff on the menu Thank you!! Y’all keep up the good work !!“
“Great kid area. They just need more staff to actually clean tables.Vegetarian options: They have your standard American fare, and my kid usually just does a grilled cheese.Kid-friendliness: Lot of good kids options. Wish they had a grilled kid dish aside from burgers.“
“This cafe/diner/burger joint is exactly where I want to be when the ‘aliens’ arrive from outer space. It feels like a time capsule, quaint and cozy. My burger was exactly how I like it! The fries are fresh and actually taste like potatoes and NOT the grease-sticks you’ll find at other establishments. Calling-in your order ahead of time would be recommended if you’re a large group of workers. It just makes sense. Looking forward to my next visit.“
“Updating this review from a few years back. The Holy Aioli is still phenomenal! The tater tots and fries are fantastic along with the hot dog options. Beer selection is solid and Makayla, one of the managers, is absolutely amazing! We need more of these locations throughout Austin. ?“
“Let me just start by saying that if you're ever in Austin, you have to visit Oasis. At first, I was going to try the food over at Oasis restaurant on Lake Travis, but the reviews on the food weren't very good. Many people in the comments recommended Oasis brewing instead. I'm so happy I came here because the food was delicious and it was less crowded. The service was excellent and it was very clean. I recommend the chicken club sandwich.“
“I frequent this location for several reasons. They're close, open late and most importantly the customer service service is always amazing. Today I went through the drive thru w 3 orders, nothing difficult. Araya took my order w ease and professionalism. She listened!! Omgeee thank you Araya for the amazing service!!“
“Just really think it's the best! My son took me there the other day and had to take us there last night as a treat for his three year old daughter. It was closed when we got there but the owner saw a little girl outside and let them come get some ice cream. Hers looked so good! ( Cotton Candy) And I had already tried the triple chocolate...talk about heavenly!!“
“I've never experienced a drive through order experience like I did today with Bailey(620 Austin locatio). She was kind, patient and helpful. Every good chain should model their customer service experience off of the integrity she serviced me with today.“
“Popped into Burger Bar after the light show at the high school. They had special drinks during the holidays that were fantastic!! I had the pretender and it was delicious. So happy they had vegetarian options. The atmosphere was so fun!! Definitely recommend it to all my friends and family.“
