“Beaux Southern Seafood is an absolute gem and easily one of the best seafood restaurants I have visited in the Austin area. The menu perfectly captures the spirit of Southern coastal cooking with dishes that are bold flavorful and deeply satisfying. Every bite we had was fresh and expertly prepared and you can tell that real care goes into sourcing quality ingredients. The portions are generous and the presentation of each dish was beautiful without feeling overly fussy. The restaurant itself has a wonderfully warm and inviting ambiance that makes you feel right at home from the moment you walk in. Our server was knowledgeable passionate about the menu and made excellent recommendations that we were very happy with. The drinks menu also impressed us with some really creative options that paired perfectly with the food. Beaux Southern Seafood is the kind of place that sets the standard for what a great seafood restaurant should be and we will absolutely be back.”

“I would like to respectfully start with; I’ve been to Uchi multiple times over the years and will never forget my first experience (which will always be the best in my mind.) That being said — tonight might have been the closest to first I’ve ever had. Chance, our server was attentive, knowledgeable, easy going, brought some of the best plates when we asked “bring us what you like/anything you think we missed” literally 12/10 would recommend. Ask for Chance, he knows his shiiiiiiii* and made our night absolutely amazing and something we will never forget!”

“Just completed a tour of the Central Texas Barbecue Scene. Visited Snow's BBQ-Lexington, Louie Mueller-Taylor, Kreus Market, Smitty's and Black's-Lockhart, The Salt Lick- Driftwood and Franklin's in Austin. It was great seeing the venues and the family history at these historic sites. I visited Franklin's in the past and felt it was the best brisket I had ever eaten in my life. I am a skeptic when it comes to famous barbecue joints. I must say that Franklin's BBQ was far superior to all of the restaurants I visited with no one even a close second. Aaron's attention to detail from the service, choice of briskets, the cook, the wrap, the holding and even the slicing of the final product is evident in every aspect of his trade. I was lucky enough to run into him at the restaurant and he happily talked BBQ with me. Franklin's may not have the long history of muti-generational BBQ in Central Texas, but he has figured it all out at a level that I have yet to see equaled by the best venues in the country. This is a bucket list restaurant for those who really enjoy BBQ. It is well worth the wait in line”
