“This is a hidden treasure. I stopped in once to get gas, grabbed a chopped beef sandwich on my way out. WOW, the best and really cheap. It's an old convenience store and there are a couple of small tables if you want to dine in. Brisket is $10 a pound. Drop in, eat some, and take some home. I think they have BBQ on Fri-Sun. It helps to speak a little Spanish.”

“We ran over to Leroy and Lewis at 11am after Franklins sold out before even opening. The line was out the door, but just barely. Within 15 minutes, it was wrapping around the corner! Someone frequently came down the line with menus, water, and to take drink orders. By 12:30, we had our food and easily snatched a table outside.They only have brisket on Saturdays so we got the sliced beef (+ extra) and beef barbacoa (Sunday special) with the Kale Caesar Slaw and pork hash and rice. The pork was not what I was expecting and not my style, but my husband enjoyed it. The slaw was very good! We loved the sliced beef - it's one cut below brisket so it doesn't fall apart, but is still super tender. The barbacoa was good, but we wouldn't order it again.We also got the L&L burger and it was fabulous with an amazing pepper crust.Probably my favorite part about this place (aside from the wonderful service) is that they source their meats locally ❤️”

“Great place for kids!!This place was recommended to us by a friend and we decided to stop in on a random Wednesday to check it out. The property is a bit far (we are based in NW Austin), but it is beautiful. It has ample outdoor seating - I would keep this in mind if the weather isn't awesome... not as much indoor. However, if the weather is beautiful, outdoor is the way to go.We are always looking for places to go to entertain our toddler and this fits the bill. Playscape for him, food for everyone, and drinks for mom and dad. Keep in mind the play scape isn't closed in, so keep an eye on the littles, they could run out. I only mention this because knowing this fact is important to me, but definitely not a ding on this place.”

“Eating the Quesadeyaya as I write this review. It simply couldnt wait! I am very impressed with the quality of the food. Bought this meal through our lunchdrop system and usually the food is a bit cold but not this quesadilla. The torilla has a homemade taste to it, the meat is nice and tender and both green and orange salas were so tasty. I cannot wait to take my partner here and try the flautas and California burrito.”

“The machacados con juevos were perfect. This is one of my favorite traditional mexican breakfasts that I crave. It was perfect. Look out for the un expected surcharge for chips with those eggs before 10 am!!! I was charged $5.00 just for a small bag of chips after they "offered the salsa" immediatly after seating me, for free. Then hit me for $$ after I asked if chips came with the salsa!!!!Eventually they reversed the charges, but this was no cheap meal, after chip charge was reversed, my bill for one person was $24.00 with tip. Good food,good service, worth it.”

Great spot within a growing food truck park. However the best part of this coffee truck is the team who work at Cenizo. The owners and their staff are so personable. “This place is cute. I definitely thought it would be more modern inside, but it's actually kinda a retro vibe (eg when I went there were a solid handful of older folks/retirees getting lunch). I didn't even remember it was here until I was looking for a lunch place in south Austin and saw it on the map. The food is good, it didn't absolutely blow my mind but I definitely enjoyed it! I had the cottage pie (kind of like shepherd's pie) for $18 and my mom had the strawberry salad for $14 which was fresh and good as well. The portion sizes were reasonable; my mom's salad was large and my shepherd's pie was smaller but dense. I left feeling fairly "neutral" (was VERY hungry beforehand). Our server and the hostess were very sweet and attentive as well. Overall I was hoping to get brunch here but they only serve brunch from 8-11 on weekdays and 8-2 on weekends - I came on Tuesday at noon. But despite the fact that I got lunch instead of brunch, I was satisfied. Will come back some time to try brunch!”
