“Such a classic and nice doughnut shop! Yes they have Kolaches... But they have Budain Kolaches????? What type of creature is this??? Yes I will try one as soon as possible! I came through and they made me a fresh right there order of heart shaped doughnuts that I took to my ladies on Valentine's Day! These things were piping hot in the box, perrrty, glazzy and happy - all at the same time!!!! While I waited for them to be made I got a apple fritter. Pretty standard sugar staple... But effective! I'll go back. My only problem with the place is they close at 1pm. I mean that does guarantee fresh doughnuts... But it definitely means no afternoon sweets to bring home.“

“This donut shop is located inside a strip center on the north side of 290 where you'll find plenty of parking. Once inside, you'll notice three tables that you can dine at as you are greeted by large glass display cases full of pastry goodies. I got here at almost 11 AM on a weekday and there were still plenty of donuts and lots of kolache's left. I decided to skip the smaller breakfast tacos and go with one of their large croissant, ham, and cheese sandwiches, which was quite filling. Their donuts are good, but not as good as their baked goods which really stand out. If you're an early riser and leaving the ShadowGlen subdivision in the early morning hours, you'll find this place is open at 5 AM. They do offer coffee for the morning commuter. When you pay with your credit card, you'll be pleased to know this is one of the few businesses where you are not greeted with a tip screen, although there is a tip jar. The only thing that's missing is a drive up window.“

“I wish I would have gotten her name. We pulled up to Shipleys tonight right at 7pm. while turning on the loop, the light went off. I thought, oh well next time. However the sweet lady working flagged me down. She was super friendly, helpful, and absolutly made my boys night. “This donut place has donuts andamor they have cake donuts. They have breakfast tacos. They also have drinks coffees and the food is fantastic. The service is fantastic. You're always served right away and you're usually get to leave with a free gift. Whether it be one cake donut or a bag of doughnut holes, and it doesn't matter how much you spend either. You can will yourself in to the store with ease. There's plenty of space inside the store to move around as well. And if you ever need help, they are there to help you and they jump on helping customers right away.“

“Linda has been so so helpful! I completely forgot last minute about ordering letter and regular donuts for my son's bday party, but she helped me this past January to get this order in. “Solid kolache and donuts joint, the family duo running the store is perfect!! And nice!!. They have everything, croissant ham egg and cheese/ sausage, sausage in a bun, tons of donut flavors. In the drinks and coffee section, you have every soda flavor, no fountain drinks, and the coffee is fresh. The key is in the dough and it has an excellent texture. My favorite is the jalapeño sausage. I devoured my meal, and you know when I devour, it must be good!! Enjoy!!“

“Hands down best Donut shop in North Austin . I've been going here since elementary school when they opened back in the mid 2000s! Almost 18 years later even though I've moved further north I always stop by once a month when I'm playing drums at my home church (Mount Sinai Baptist Church ) further down the road on Cameron RD ! Quality is amazing ! Not overly sweet but sweet enough and very soft and light ! Worth every calorie ! The owners / staff are lovely people and so kind ! “The proprietortess is so very nice and funny! She asks about my day, inquires after my hobbies I mention and is always eager to joke around. The sugar donuts are awesome and the large sausage and cheese kolaches are recommend! Ut the best thing on the menu that I have tried to date is the croissant sandwich. YUM!I like that the establishment is open early and closes early as I have never been in a crush of people but, even so, when I go they're almost always at the end of their kolaches.Highly recommend!“

“NGL, I like your typical old-fashioned doughnuts, I like them just glazed and just doughy and cakey. I'm not really a R.R..Doughnuts type of guy even though that is the norm here. I tried Mochi Doughnuts in Dallas and Japan but was not really a fan of these glutinous rice flower treats. I decided to give these a try and was surprised by how good they were, doughy and chewy but also fluffy and made to easily pull apart. They have plenty of amazing flavors to try, but the churro flavored one was my favorite. They are a bit expensive but well worth the try, I highly recommend it.“

I appreciated that the size of the meat was bigger than usual and it avoided that gummy texture that old kolaches sometimes get when you microwave them. The service was friendly but also to the point and efficient. Good mix of the two. “Putting this review for my mom, who decided to try the place out while I got some food next door.So she came in with some spare change deciding if she should explore outside her comfort zone. The server was friendly answering all the questions, and my mom was excited to see that all the food was made fresh to order! She said the smells were amazing and raved about the quality of a fresh, crispy, and fluffy donut. They kept talking about how amazing the texture of the donut was in the car! That and the fresh cold water hit the spot for her!I’d take a photo for the simple donut but they ate it fast. “Awesome! This store and delivery service are flawless. We've ordered small orders ( 1/2 dozen donuts) 3 times recently and each one was delivered quickly and exactly as asked. As to the donuts, these guys know their stuff. The glazed are bigger and better than Duck donuts or Crispy Crème, and were delivered, warm, perfectly made and boxed such that the 6 donuts were in perfect condition when I opened it. I could not recommend them more. I ordered from the Pflugerville store each time, so I can't account for other locations, but this one is an outstanding way to get delicious & quickly delivered, best donuts around.“
