Stopped in for a sweet treat after a doctor appointment this week and the French macarons were absolutely 10/10! I think they are the best I’ve ever had and are a must try. I’m looking forward to trying their chocolate croissant and the Mango Lime Dream soon. What an unexpected, delicious find this shop is!

Violette Bakehouse is a quality, authentic French bakery that has been around since 2024. Tucked away next to a sandwich shop, it offers a relaxed and cute spot with lots of tables and spaces inside. Everything is very cute, and some items looked too pretty to eat. The baked goods are absolutely delicious and decadent, though a bit pricey. The vegetable quiche is amazing with a fresh, homemade crust, and the potato bacon cheddar quiche was literally perfect—light, fluffy, and flavorful in a delicate crust, described as the best quiche of an entire life. The chocolate croissant is the best in Austin in 10 years, and the almond croissant and chocolate eclair are also excellent. Other offerings include the Mango Lime Dream cake, coconut and Oreo macarons, and GF macarons for gluten-free options. An incredible deal is the $10 lunch special with quiche, a drink, and chips. The owner stays on brand with Maison Perrier drinks like Forever Strawberry. The staff is very friendly, and the overall experience is wonderful.
