“My first encounter was dinner brought to me from a friend after I had surgery. When I was finally able to get to the restaurant I was pleasantly surprised at what they offered. THH has a bigger menu than I expected. Pancakes, breakfast tacos, lunch plates and much more. Recently I was at a women’s event and it was catered by THH. They did an amazing job serving 120 ladies and can also do smaller events like bridal/wedding parties for morning of events. They also sponsored a 5k run we had. Rob and his crew are great to work with. 👍🏻👍🏻“

“I just wanted to leave a review and let everyone know that the amazing employee, Sarah, at the Pinkberry Westbank (3300 Bee Caves Road, Westlake Hills, TX 78746) location was an absolute angel! She was amazing and went above and beyond during our visit on 3/1/25!! She had such a great attitude and did a fantastic job handling our large order that included a regular & large yogurt as well as a few Take Home Yogurts since we are from San Antonio! As she was helping us with our order, about 4-5 customers walked in. She was calm, fast, efficient, and all with a smile on her face. She knocked out everyone’s orders while providing a great experience. This is our favorite Frozen Yogurt and Pinkberry location and we love to drive to Austin when we can because we love the great service and amazing yogurt. “How do they get such fabulous flavors? I make my own sangria and salads, but their three-berry sangria is the best I’ve ever had. And the miso cabbage salad with salmon wad incredible. My son ordered the steak, macaroni, broccoli, and it was excellent. We also had the avocado hummus with warm wheat tortillas. On the shady patio with our dog.

“I swung by Terry Black’s this morning to pick up a big order of barbecue to take to friends in California, because they need to know what the very best barbecue in Texas tastes like. ❤️⁣ ⁣ Chad, Sharon, and Kait were so helpful behind the counter, making sure everything was wrapped perfectly for a travel cooler and ready to survive a flight, complete with reheating instructions for when it arrived.⁣ ⁣ What really stood out, though, was the hospitality. They took the time to visit with me, answered all of my questions, and made the whole experience feel personal instead of rushed. We ended up having some great conversations, and they even let us sample a few things before we decided exactly what to order.⁣ ⁣ The food is phenomenal, but the people are what make you want to come back. Texas barbecue is about more than brisket, it’s about generosity and making people feel welcome, and this team absolutely nailed it. “Just completed a tour of the Central Texas Barbecue Scene. Visited Snow's BBQ-Lexington, Louie Mueller-Taylor, Kreus Market, Smitty's and Black's-Lockhart, The Salt Lick- Driftwood and Franklin's in Austin. It was great seeing the venues and the family history at these historic sites. I visited Franklin's in the past and felt it was the best brisket I had ever eaten in my life. I am a skeptic when it comes to famous barbecue joints. I must say that Franklin's BBQ was far superior to all of the restaurants I visited with no one even a close second. Aaron's attention to detail from the service, choice of briskets, the cook, the wrap, the holding and even the slicing of the final product is evident in every aspect of his trade. I was lucky enough to run into him at the restaurant and he happily talked BBQ with me. Franklin's may not have the long history of muti-generational BBQ in Central Texas, but he has figured it all out at a level that I have yet to see equaled by the best venues in the country. This is a bucket list restaurant for those who really enjoy BBQ. It is well worth the wait in line“

“We heard of this coffee place from a video on YouTube so had to try it out while we're in town. We got the Shoyu Butterscotch signature latte and the Desnudo black coffee. Both were exactly to our own tastes. We got here a little after 8am on a Saturday and a line was starting to form after we ordered. If the line wasn't long, we would've ordered another coffee to-go. I definitely want to try their matcha drinks next time!“

“I first tried T-Loc’s in 2015, when I was in my final semester at TXST, and an apprentice to a business in ATX. My mentor brought me to T-Loc’s after a tough week and since, it’s become one of my favorites! I’d never had a Sonoran hotdog or anything like it and couldn’t believe I’d been missing out! The food is ALWAYS fresh, delicious and consistent. I love this place so much that I hired T-Loc’s to cater a private, professional event in October 2024 and I don’t have enough positive things to say. Miguel and his team are incredibly professional, timely and efficient. This was my first event to plan and execute all on my own and naturally, when last minute obstacles popped up, Miguel stepped in and he quite literally saved the day. I’m so grateful for this amazing team and all they did for me to ensure the event was a success, means the world. As long as I’m breathing, anytime I’m in ATX, a T-Loc’s trip is on the docket!“

“I could see the glowing sign from my 15th floor room at the Hyatt Place in Downtown Austin. Neon glowing, line forming, I said, “why not?” I walked down the dark alley (don’t be afraid!) stepped in line behind one couple and just waited…I stepped inside what seemed to be a very tiny bar, that had a door that led me to what seemed to be a back entrance to a white tile kitchen — a speakeasy entrance if you will. Read a menu in Spanish, picked my tacos and the rest is history. These were maybe the best tacos I’ve ever had in my life — carne asada, pastor and pollo on corn tortillas. Sorry I didn’t take photos because I was starving and they were THAT good. I wish I investigated the glowing neon sooner but this is my last night in Austin. If I ever find myself back here, I’m heading straight for Taqueria De Diez.“

He forgot to include a fork with my order. I left but stopped to check, and I know he watched me. Before I even mentioned anything, I went back and he just handed me a fork without saying a word or acknowledging me. It felt rushed and unwelcoming, like he didn’t want to interact at all. He was annoyed at being there and weirdly passive aggressive about it. I went on Saturday April 11 at 6pm.“
